The property is quiet, gorgeous, very well appointed, and the nearby stores and Tommy Bahama restaurant are super convenient. Kathleen, the property manager, was helpful and knowledgeable. However, note the following: the beach is not "close by" and that's a subjective description. The VRBO picture makes it look that way. It took us quite a while to find it; it's s 1.6 mile-car drive and you need the card key to get in. As previously noted in other comments, the owner locks down the wifi-remoted-controlled A/C at 76 and sets the times to run it. The outdoor BBQ started both times we used it with an upward blast which appears to have been reported below. Trying to watch regular TV channels was near impossible and you'll need your own acct/passwords to access streaming channels. Last but not least, I made the reservation 3 years ago and had to cancel due to COVID travel/lock-down restrictions. In my experience with the owner, he was not helpful or considerate in offering a full refund (4 friends, we all had to lock-down), and even discounted the partial credit he offered by 50% when my group was finally able to travel. Before booking, note that VRBO controls no aspect of refunds or recovery of disputed money if any unavoidable issue arises within the owner's cancellation policy..

This was a very comfortable and spacious condo. The kitchen was extraordinarily well stocked. They also had all manner of beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear and floaties). The pool was lovely and a quick walk from the condo. We used the gym a couple of times which was also very nice and spacious. The beach club and beach were much enjoyed. If you want to explore nearby public beaches they are a short drive away. There is also a grocery store right next to the development - so convenient! We would definitely stay again. We are sorry for initially trying to air condition the outdoors - we did not find the 75 degree setting on the air conditioning to be an issue at all. There are a couple of fans if you appreciate more air movement at night.

This is a great place at a very good location; we would definitely stay here again. The one suggestion I have for the owners is to fix the outside grill; it doesn't seem to light off normally; it takes a bit of time and sometimes it won't light off at all; so gas builds up; first time I light up the grill it resulted in a small puff so to speak; I ducked quickly and got out of the way; rest of stay I knew how to operate it but anyone lighting it off for the 1st time may get in trouble. Other than that the place is very nice like I said above

The unit was clean and exactly as described in the rental listing. Couches and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. The master bedroom on the second floor includes a balcony with a nice mountain view. Overall a great place to stay for a relaxing vacation

My husband and I, along with our adult children and my sister & mother really enjoyed our week in this beautiful, comfortable townhome. The hosts generously provided everything we could have needed, from kitchen staples to beach gear. With COVID cases on the rise again, we were very happy to have this private resort experience. The Mauna Lani Villages are part of the sprawling Mauna Lani complex, which allows access to an amenities center with a gym and pool as well as the Mauna Lani Beach Club. The shopping center doesn't have much anymore, but there is a Tommy Bahama Restaurant, good takeout pizza, and a great little grocery store within walking distance.

We LOVED this property! Plenty of room for a big family! We loved the bathrooms in each room. The outdoor kitchens was fabulous. We walked to beach every night for sunsets. SO many amenities in the condo. We felt right at home with every thing we needed! Loved all the beach towels

It's a very average townhouse in just okay repair. It's located within walking distance of the Tommy Bahama's restaurant. No soaps, no shampoos, no frills. Just the money, baby!
