This was the perfect stay for our vacation in Kihea. Condo had plenty of room for the 4 of us, great view of the beach and was within walking distance to various restaurants and grocery stores. We walked for coffee every morning and picked a new place every day. Great area of Maui where you are basically within 20 minutes of everything including the airport. Would definitely pick this one again!

Great location, clean unit. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Great views from balcony. Beach supplies was pretty good, except no umbrella, but you can rent them. Kitchen well equipped. Dishwasher down, Only realized that after we checked in, no one told us. Washer is very loud, but we were told that is normal because of set up. The master was disappointing. Murphy bed with mattress topper! NO. Rusty closet doors. No real door separation from the master to living room, just bifold doors with slats so you could not have much quiet if people were in living room. 2nd bedroom had the king bed but was so hot that the other couple slept in living room. Overall not a bad stay. Maui is beautiful and friendly.

Here is an honest list of pro and cons and you can decide if it works for you. This is stuff I wish I knew.
Pros: located across beach, nice view, near Foodland grocery ( 2 blocks)/ a food truck court/and some open air touristy shops, dedicated parking lot, can get cross breeze by opening front door and lanai doors, double long lanai (patio), TV in one BR and living room, building has a small pool
Cons: has 2 window-AC units ( not central AC) which were pretty darn loud when on, never felt cool and comfortable— as soon as AC unit was off it felt hot again, dishwasher broken plus little maintenance items throughout unit, mid-level furnishings, couldn’t leave a speck of food out or many tiny ants would come out within 10 minutes and cover it, one bedroom does not have AC ( only ceiling fan), building has small pool but pool is not that great, lots of road noise
Would we rent again here? I guess bottom line and ultimate decision maker for me is, the 4 of us couldn’t get a good night’s sleep here in a week’s time because we were all really, really hot at night and the AC unit was really loud if we used it.
The place is a place to stay but didn’t feel like a vacation. I think I would spend the money on a resort next time and feel comfortable day and night and have a really nice pool to enjoy.
This place would work for people who are used to island heat and humidity or are not sensitive to temperatures at night

Pros: The unit was in good shape. Clean. Appliances worked well. Beautiful view from the balcony. Close to the beach, 2 minute walk. Manger was reponsive and kind the one time i needed to reach out.
I dont think i can consider this a con because i think it depends on who you are and what you're looking for. The town that the condo is in isnt quite as nice as I expected. Its right next to a large park which is nice for kids, but there is a lot of homeless around. If you've ever been to san diego, think pacific beach or imperial beach.
Again i dont think its fair to say its a negative because in my late 20s early 30s this would have been exactly the area I would have been looking for.
Con: The only true con is the swamp coolers work great for the living room and main bedroom. But the back bedroom near the front door is unbearable to sleep in, at least in the summer when we were there.
All in all we were very happy with our stay and have no big complaints. Would recommend for others to stay here.

I have a very good experience with the unit. 1. the ocean view from the balcony of the apartment is amazing, better than the picture shown, you have much wider and higher view than the picture.2. the apartment is clean, and you can find everything you need for kitchen, bathroom, laundry and the beach chairs are available there as well.3. Kihei cafe is just a couple of steps away, and there is a big food truck park right behind the apartment that you can get all kind of good food there, expensive or cheaper food all are available. dining is very convenient there.4. the beach downstair next to Kama Park is the best beach for surf beginner. and there is a good surf school right cross street. so if kids want to learn surf, it is best place to stay. 5. Charley Young Beach just 5 min walk is good for kids to play as well. actually, I found waves in many other beaches including those famous beaches are kind of big, but Charley Young beach's wave is smaller. I just relax in the apartment and let my two teenage girls go to beach and play there somehow without worrying safety.

Condo is very dated. Chest of drawers had one broken drawer. No drapes in living area making that room very warm. Sun shade on lanai fell off during a high wind. The entire condo could use a coat of paint to make it feel cleaner and more inviting.Location was great and the proximity to Maui Gardens was a definite plus.I would not rent this condo again in its present condition.

This condo has a great location within walking distance to groceries, restaurants, the beach, park etc. The view from the balcony is terrific. The problem is it needs an update. There is A/C in only 1 bedroom and living room. The 2nd bedroom is very warm. The location of the apartment does not allow for a good breeze through it either. The unit itself is very tired and old. The mattress is very lumpy, furniture is well used. We would not stay there again

Spacious apartment with a gorgeous view of the cove and mountains. Large lanai with plenty of seating. Bedroom and Living room share the same view and it was great to wake up to the view of the sunrise in the mountains.
The unit had everything we needed and is perfect for a longer stay. Beach supplies, snorkeling gear and plenty of towels. Parking spots were always available and bunch of places around walking distance to some great eats. The location is overall very convenient and central. Definitely would come back to this unit on our next trip to Maui.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The views are just as good, if not better, than the photos. It's very spacious, and the lanai is amazing for enjoying coffee, cocktails and more. Even though it's near the road, it was very quiet overall. The location is great - there's plenty within walking distance, including the magical South Maui Gardens with delicious coffee and eats, right behind the condos. And just a quick drive to Wailea and other attractions! Overall, we had a fantastic stay - thank you so very much! We hope to come back!
There were only three downsides worth noting:
(1) The back bedroom really needs an AC unit - it stayed very hot. This is unfortunate because it has the biggest bed, the master only has a queen.
(2) Being stingy with the toilet paper doesn't create a good guest experience... and warning us in an email does't make it any better. Sufficient toilet paper is really a minimum requirement for any decent vacation rental.
(3) The washing machine smelled really musty, so it was impossible to do personal laundry while we were there. Any front-loading washing machine just needs an occasional bleach cycle to solve the issue.

The location in Kihei on S. Kihei road is fabulous. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants, shopping, grocery store. Also easy access to main highways and airport. The sunset view is amazing. The only slight negative is the kitchen is a bit dated but has every type of pot and pan, glassware and dishes you need. The property manager was very receptive to each text message sent. They fixed everything we requested on a very timely basis. Overall we were very satisfied and very sad to leave.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo in Kihei! The condo was clean and well maintained. The location was very close to the beach and local restaurants and shops. The facility has a pool but no hot tub. The only issue we had was that we could not get the TV in the living room to work.

We loved this condo. The double lanai gave us a great view of Cove Beach. We had breakfast and dinner on the lanai everyday. The king bed in the 2 nd bedroom was way more comfortable than the Murphy bed in the master bedroom. The pool/BBQ area was very nice and clean. Lots of fans and open windows gave us all the breeze we needed to stay cool. It was entertaining to watch all the beginning surfers each morning from the lanai. Charley Young beach was a short walk from the condo. Foodland grocery store just a short walk away. The food truck just one block north has really good fish tacos!

This was a great location with good amenities. The only downside to the property is that there is poor lighting so it was hard to relax at the location and read a book. Since sunset was about 6 pm that would have been nice.
The property was well stocked and Chelsea was terrific at getting back to us with any questions and help. I would recommend staying here.

This was a great place to stay. Location was great! Quiet area yet close to everything the ocean view... what's not to like.
Chelsea, our property manager, was easy to contact and replied quickly. Everything was as we anticipated. Short 2 block walk to grocery store or restaurants.
