This was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. It was much larger than we had anticipated, incredibly clean and very well appointed. Having a washer and dryer, as well as a fully stocked kitchen was wonderful. The location is fantastic and we were able to use the shuttle service to move around the property to different restaurants. We saw whales from the patio almost every day. We can’t wait to come back! Enjoyed a short vacation to Kapalua. We have visited this resort many times in the past and love the location, the beaches and the restaurants nearby. Would stay again in this villa anytime. Only negative was shortage of wines glasses (there were only 2).

I booked the condo to be close to my friend's wedding venue. I was fully impressed with the excellent location. The condo overlooks the pool and has a great view of the ocean, just as pictured. I spent a few evenings on the balcony listening to the wave. It was a tranquil experience beyond my imagination.
The proximity of the location to access the other southerly towns (e.g. Napili and Kanapali) made it ideal if you like to explore outside of the resort town. The closeness to the beaches is perfect for snorkeling and frolicking.
One thing to note. Most tour companies can not pick up directly from this villa. I had to make arrangements with them to pick up at a location that's a bit of a drive away.
The furnishing of the room leans toward mid-century modern. The kitchen is clean and well-stocked with dishes and utensils.
The bathroom and carpet can use some updates since the rest of the house is in great condition.
The manager left me some flowers at the door - a really welcoming gesture.
I did encounter some confusion around AC. They work. But I couldn't manually adjust the temperature or duration. Wish I could have gotten more support on this minor detail.
Overall, I highly recommend this place as an alternative to nearby mega-hotels. The availability of a kitchen and the ability to relax with plenty of privacy all added to an outstanding Maui experience.

My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and we were not disappointed. Great view of the ocean from the kitchen and living area with quiet and peaceful surroundings. Rental was extremely clean and we had no issues with amenities. The host’s recommended eateries were spot on as well. The location provided a great retreat from the busier parts of the island while not being too far to deter us from venturing out. We will definitely be keeping this spot in mind for our next trip; highly recommend!

We stayed for a month to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The condo and the setting were perfect. Alyce was great. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby and there is a shuttle for within the Kapalua resort if you don't want to drive. If you're looking for action and activity this might not be your best choice but if serenity and natural beauty is your goal, look no further. The VRBO listing is spot on!

This condo is super tastefully designed and decorated. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The view is amazing, and you're a short walk to the beach and Kapalua Bay. We've stayed at 3 different condos at Bay Villas, and this one was the nicest.

Top priorities were: head-on ocean views from the living room, clean, relatively updated and located in the Bay Villas section. This unit met all of our qualifications and then some! Unit is well appointed and includes beach supplies (chairs, tents, umbrella etc). I traveled with my husband and under 1 infant and we felt there was plenty of space. Bedroom was very quiet even though it is on the road side. Would definitely stay again.

We had to postpone this trip twice. Elyse was most generous to allow us to either cancel or postpone. Luckily we were able to go and she was most gracious and all the arrangements. We stayed here before and will hopefully have a chance to stay again one day.

We love Kapalua and have been trying many of the Villas over the last few years. This location is very convenient to all the relaxing activities at Kapalua and beyond. We found the property very quiet and fully stocked with everything that we needed to make our week long stay very fun and relaxing. This condo is a great location for ocean viewing and near the pool. It is beautifully furnished and has a well equipped kitchen. It’s also a great location for trail walking or walking to the Honolulu Store and some restaurants. We would definitely book it again!

Fantastic location for walking to 4 beaches, although if you are carrying beach chairs easy to park near the further two. Lovely coastal walk each morning about 3 miles. We walked over to the Montage each evening to see the beautiful sunsets. The condo was perfect for 2 people. Everything worked perfectly including the A/C. Our only complaint is that the lanai furniture is not what is shown in the photo. Instead there are wooden dining chairs that are not very comfortable. Very peaceful area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Alyse was clear, helpful, and responsive leading up to the trip, and the place was so perfect that we never needed to bother her again. Such a spotless and modern property, on what is now my favorite part of the island. As New Yorkers we loved and appreciated the privacy and QUIET that neighbors grant each other. (An item of note: the bathroom is enormous and lovely; you'll just need to take a small step up and then down into the actual shower. Not a complaint at all -- in fact we loved the setup -- but wanted to mention for those who may be older or less mobile.)
