Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.

CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.

The property was very clean, and we were able to access it very easily and quickly. It is in a centrally located area, only a short walk from either Waikiki beach or the Ala Moana shopping mall. It has great sunset views. The major downside, as others have noted, is it is very loud. Between the bar/restaurant directly below the property and the traffic on the road, it can be a challenge to get a good night's sleep. If you're not a light sleeper, this property is definitely worth considering.

Bathroom corners were caked with dust as well as the sliding shower door. Shower head was old and encrusted with stains. The small balcony was sturdy but tile is chipped and broken. We were out and about most of the day so the unit served our needs.

Location, Location , Location. Beautiful view of the marina. Steps to the beach. Pick ups for tours in front of the hotel. Bus is easy to get to. You are close to shops and mall . Kitchen makes it so convenient to make meals if you prefer to eat in. Loved staying here . Would definitely stay again!

The pictures are exactly what you get. It is a bit outdated but that wasn’t a bother. However the sleeper sofa is small. It will not fit adults, but it worked for our tiny teens. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed. Walking distance to the beach for fireworks. The restaurant/bar is below the condo, so you will hear music, but the A/C drowns some of the noise out. It is VERY bright in the morning (the blinds could have been thicker) so bring an eye mask. We would stay here again..zero issues with check in, zero issues with location. Good price

This was in a perfect location! It’s close to lots of shopping and restaurants and it has a wonderful little restaurant in the lobby. Some of the furnishings and condo could stand to be updated but for the money it’s a great value. Check in was very easy and communication with management was very prompt.

Easy access location but in desperate need of an update, facelift and deep clean. It was also missing many common kitchen items typically found in vacation rentals which means we ate out a lot more than had planned. The walls/windows allowed A LOT of noise to come in all night from the bar below preventing even one night of good sleep. It was quite an underwhelming place to stay, but luckily minimal time was spent there except to (try to) sleep.

Aloha scuba is right across the street. The Friday night fireworks are amazing from the balcony. Very comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend

The location is great; a short walk to just about anywhere. The property itself shows little bit of signs of wear and tear. Shower head is rusty with weak flow of water, couch furniture is peeling off, balcony door takes a lot of strength to open. Otherwise, it gets the job done. View is fantastic, especially at sunset/sunrise.

The location is fabulous. Plenty of things in walking distance. Beach, food, shopping. More attention to detail cleaning would be good. Overall it was fine. That darn sliding door still sticks. I could barely move it! Upgraded towels and linens would also be nice. The sofa bed was not too comfy for an old lady. ;-)

Very clean place, well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels. There was even a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella if needed. The room divider worked great to create 2 bedrooms at night. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and mall. There was a very small balcony overlooking the harbor that was lovely for coffee in the mornings. The sunset could be viewed in the evenings. Instructions/directions for stay were clear. Reviews had mentioned noise from the busy street and restaurant directly below, this was true, but at night we turned on the provided fan and that helped out a lot. Very satisfied with stay in general.

The place was clean and spacious. It was a little older/run down then the pictures show but is in a great location with a really nice view of the marina. Would have been nice to have a pool but there are multiple nice beaches a short walk away. Only complaints are that it is right above a bar which was noisy some nights and they did not have much beach stuff provided - no cooler and just two old chairs and umbrella. Other then that really enjoyed the stay!

I love staying on the west side of Waikiki. It is quieter and has less traffic. I've been eyeing this property on our other trips and was excited to find this listing. I love to just walk around places for hours and this spot is perfect. I took a long walk up and down all the marina aisles, around Magic Island Lagoon to the west and around Hilton lagoon and onto the Waikiki boardwalk to the east. I love coffee and breakfast from Honolulu coffee next door in the Prince Waikiki. Parking in the lot in the condo building is extremely convenient. We paid in advance the first day and then could pop in and out with our prepaid parking card the whole stay. The view from the lanai is beautiful with a great sunset view over the boats. The condo is minimal and clean and had everything we needed.

Booking and renting this property was good overall. The apartment is nice and clean, the view from the balcony is nice specially during the sunset. The kitchen is well equipped but they need to replace with a new set of pan. Also, we will recommend to buy new beach chairs and umbrella so guests can use them, having the beach steps away. It’s not a big investment and it will be much more convenient. Location is good, but a bit noisy in the evenings, but it didn’t bother us at all. Nice apartment for a small family or a couple.

The condo was exactly how advertised. The issue was the sliding door was very hard to open & close. But, everything else was perfect. Super clean, kitchen was fully functional for all cooking needs, and great location. Would definitely rent this condo again!! Two thumbs up. THANK YOU!

We loved our stay here! We knew going into this property that the Ilikai Maria is an old building. My mom lives in one of the condos upstaris and although she has it fixed up and renovated, it is still in an old building. You have to understand this to rent this place. It was exactly how it was described in the listing. It was clean, it's just all older. The queen bed was very comfortable, as was the couch for our teenage son. He's pretty tall, but fit comfortably on the couch. The view is beautiful! The kitchen is fairly fully stocked with dishes, silverware, cups, cookware, etc. There is only salt and pepper - no other spices or condiments. We purchased a big load from Costco before we arrived and loved having several of our meals in the condo - so much cheaper. If you park on the 4th floor of the parking garage you can walk right into the hallway of this apartment. The only downside I can think of was that the lanai should have been cleaned before we arrived. I realize there are a lot of birds (do NOT feed them!!)...but it honestly should have been cleaned off before we got there. Also, please invest in a new broom. I sweep every day and the broom you have there is very disgusting. Even if you wash off your feet at the washing stations at the beach, it's inevitable that sand will be in the apartment. Get a new broom and throw out that old one! Also, you should check into getting new rollers for the sliding glass door. It's very hard to open and shut, but with an easy fix it would be good as new. That being said, we would definitely rent this apartment again. It was a very easy check in and check out. It's in an incredible location - a five minute walk to Waikiki beach. It's the same price as renting a hotel room, but it has a full kitchen which always seals the deal for us! Plus eating breakfast and dinner to the sunrise and the sunset, all while overlooking the marina and the ocean is a huge plus! Thank you! Mahalo!
