My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Getting to the beach from the property is steep downhill to get there but the beach is quiet, very few people and great snorkeling.

On the plus side; I like staying in this complex due to great location —have stayed in this complex numerous times; Close to Food Land, Hide Away Beach, Pizza Place in complex, Ritz Carlton close by and all my hiking spots. The area is beautiful, grounds very well maintained. ….As to the condo itself, it’s fine but it’s dated, view so/so compared to other units, furniture is old, one paper towel, soap that seems like it’s been there forever, oldish appliances. Condo is ok but could use a little love and capital. Floor plan nice with upstairs /downstairs. I would do it again, we had a great time as we always do when going to Princeville.

We love Princeville and love staying in that area. This condo neighborhood is lovely and well laid-out and landscaped. We loved going to Hideaways pub one night and braved the steep walk down to the small beach. Perfect location for sunsets.
The unit itself is very nice. It is spacious, with nice furniture, plenty of beach extras, a large lanai, and comfortable king sized mattress.
However, the architectural design of these buildings is very flawed. I know that most places in Kauai don't have AC and when we visited previously, we didn't need it due to the tradewinds. This unit faces the sun all day. There are vaulted ceilings and the only windows are louvered and small and most of them are ground level so it is difficult to get good breezes in the unit. It was extraordinarily hot in the unit. There were a few fans, but no extension cords so you couldn't get the fans where you needed them. We called the rental agency and they provided two fans and two extension cords the next day. My husband was able to rig up an airflow that helped cool the unit down, but it was still fairly warm. So, great unit, helpful agency, but if you like AC, not the place for you.

We loved our time here. It was clean and had everything you might need. The binoculars were a nice touch and we were able to see whales! It was only a short walk to watch the most beautiful sunset looking out towards Hanalei! Some of the closets and dresser drawers were hard to open and close but that would not prevent us from staying here again! Mahalo

We loved our stay at Pali Ke Kua 244. The location was perfect for enjoying the North Shore and a picturesque place for relaxing. The ocean views were wonderful and we enjoyed watching and listening to a variety of birds on the premises. The condo had all the comforts and conveniences we needed. We would love to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property in January. It has a great ocean view and a short driving distance to Princeville shopping center, Kai Bar Coffee Roasters at Kilauea, and Lahaina. We went there almost every day for our morning coffee and other activities. Can't wait to go back again!

Large second floor condo has a great view. The house is fully equipped with everything you’ll need. The beach chairs and umbrella were a great surprise. The pool is close too along with shopping, restaurants and a grocery store. Plus the Queens Bath and Hideaway Beach are walkable.

We have been to Kauai several times, and this is by far the best rental company we've worked with! The location was fabulous, clean, beautiful and perfect spot on the North Shore. But honestly, the staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals & Real Estate bent over backwards to accomodate our needs. I won't rent from anyone else in Kauai!

Pali Ke Kua 244 was clean, simple, well-maintained, and comfortable. The oceanviews were spectacular, the warm tropical winds were soft. The private beach for this resort community was heavenly. The Napali Coast is the most beauty filled place on Earth!!!The island paradise sounds of birds, trees and flowing waters were so gentle, so peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to stay with my husband and father in law - beautiful views & sunsets, private beach, comfortably apportioned condo (other than the bulky furniture far too large for the downstairs bedroom - I bruised my shins countless times on the bed frame). We had regular tv but no cable...we like to watch movies and couldn't get on demand. The unit could use a little sprucing up. There was a big stain on carpet...but generally comfortable beds..loved the showers...kitchen stocked well. We had a fabulous time.

We had a lovely time in the condo. The property was gorgeous, and the walk to the private beach was especially lush and beautiful. The pool was also more lush/beautiful than the pictures. Overall vibe of the property was quiet and relaxed.
We enjoyed the condo as well, with the perfect view from the lanai. We had hoped there would be some basic pantry items that most rentals have (spices, oil, coffee), but overall the kitchen was clean and functional. We were really happy with our experience at the property and with the rental company.

Overall this was a good place to stay. We had the important boxes checked- close to surfing, ocean view, spacious accommodations.
The unit is decent, but there is some wear and it is dated, it is not “sparkling” clean (kitchen, bathrooms could use some bleach). Also, it has a full kitchen but NO basics for cooking. Just the pans/pots/utensils but no salt/pepper, cooking spray, coffee filters, coffee, drinking water. We had to buy all food/cooking related items. The unit could also use matches, bath mats, foil, tape. (Also does not have A/C so it gets very warm in the afternoon! )
