The property is absolutely incredible. The view from the back porch is gorgeous and we had two families of endangered nene goose walk past as they searched for food in the grass. The property itself is very clean and stocked wit everything we needed: snorkeling kits, boogie boards, beach towels and chairs, olive oil, spices, fast WiFi, etc. The grill is very nice and we used it to make dinner almost every night. The washer and dryer in the bathroom were much appreciated as well! I will definitely recommend this property to anyone who comes to the north shore of Kauai. The owners were very nice and responsive and the property is in a great location to see sunsets. There is a very nice walking path right outside the community that runs along the golf course and down to the beach that we used to get around a few times. 15/10 would recommend staying here!

I wish we could have stayed longer!! This property had everything you could need. Easy parking, convenient location, every possible kitchen utensil. Even the shower and in-unit laundry were awesome!
This VRBO felt like home and not like a vacation rental. The furnishings were nicer than I expected.
The unit has a perfect view of the evening sunset, simple parking, and a great set of shops and dining options nearby.
I can’t wait to stay here again.

Pali Ke Kua offers a stunning ocean view, and is conveniently located close to both Kilauea and Hanalei. #103 has every imaginable amenity! Our 2 week stay was delightful!

Our unit had a spectacular wall of windows to witness the properties gorgeous view of the ocean, bay and mountains. Although we stayed during the “rainy season” we really only had one day out of our three weeks that the Island was off limits. There was always some place to go or something to see. Even the occasional shower was followed by gorgeous rainbows and sunsets. We loved Princeville. Local grocery shopping was close as was Hanalei Bay restaurants. Love the furniture in the unit. The mattress was not for those who need a firm foundation. The kitchen is more than fully equipped for cooking. The descent to the small beach was challenging for us two seniors and we only managed it once. Great pizza in The Pub.

The view was amazing. The concierge service was very helpful. The condo had all of the basics covered -- towels, linens, paper products, trash bags, beach gear (chairs, towels, snorkeling masks, boogie boards, umbrellas, sunscreen, bug spray), cooking oils and basic spices, cooking gear (pots, pans, utensils), great ice maker in the fridge -- pretty much anything we needed. Our only minor complaint is that the blinds for the bedroom window are somewhat see through, but there was rarely anyone outside that window given how the property is situated. Also, the condo is about 45-60 minutes from the airport and many of the places you might want to see on Kauai. It is only 10-15 minutes from most of the Hanalei sites and shopping and 15-20 minutes from the Kilauea lighthouse or Anini Beach.

Perfect spot for a weekend. The view from the unit is spectacular — I spent all waking hours on the lanai — and Hideaway beach is magical. Well-stocked kitchen and close to Hanalei Bay. The unit is a little worn around the edges, if that bothers you, but you’re not there to be inside!

I really liked this location in Princeville. The living room/kitchen views late oceanside views which makes for good sunrise and sunsets. The condos are a little worn in with age but not enough of an issue. They provide beach accessories such as chairs and a long walking stick which came in really handy. The location made it easy to access North Shore and easy access to East Shore.
Only issues are 1) the washing machine was broken. We weren’t warned so we couldn’t pack appropriately. This feature is a big deal because we only bring a carry on to minimize luggage. We did bring up this issue so we were compensated for this inconvenience. Also the washing machine was 1/3 full of towels soaking in old detergent water. It was starting to smell so I manage to get the towels out and drain the water. This should have been taken care of as well.
2) the key code pad ran out of batteries and we had to resort to using the emergency key lock box. Since it was the only key (why isn’t there a spare) it was a hassle to manually open this in the dark everyday with our hands full. Kauai is small enough that they should have sent someone out to replace the batteries.
3) the electric bbq doesn’t maintain constant heat and isn’t useful at all. Better to cook your food indoors.
All these things weren’t deal breakers but when added up, kept it from having a great experience. I would definitely come back here again if the first 2 issues were fixed.

My husband and I stayed in this 1 bdrm/1 bath unit while attending the wedding of dear friends at a nearby resort. We found this place to be cozy, clean and well-stocked, with beautiful ocean views. The king bed was very comfortable; the furnishings comfy. The unit is within short walking distance to two beaches, one private for this condo complex. The rental company was responsive to questions we had. Parking was included and a few steps from the unit. The AC units were add-ons, and pretty loud, but they were not an issue for us. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for 4 nights (with two kids). This is my absolute favourite spot not just because the island is my favourite and the view is the best I have ever seen anywhere (and I have travelled a lot - 4 different places in Hawaii plus luxury resorts all over Caribbean) but also because the unit itself is just perfect. It has an amazing view, very clean and so well decorated, and VERY well stocked; they thought of everything! It is a short drive to Hanalei, an on-site restaurant, nice large pool, and an absolutely beautiful path (very steep) down to the most beautiful ocean view. It doesn’t get any better than this place!
By the way, the portable AC units were more than enough for our hot July stay. We rarely used them (only when we came back from a long day at the beach ). The fans plus the great blinds helped keep the place cool.
Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again.

This place was mostly wonderful. Stocked with absolutely everything you could need from kitchen to beach toys to aloe vera. Very comfortable, fantastic views, nice facilities overall. Downside: there is an airflow problem, as it gets very hot when the wind dies down. We struggled to keep the place at a pleasant temp even with 3 fans going in every room. Management was responsive and sympathetic, but it was difficult to sleep.

The only downside of this is strong sun on the outdoor spaces (this would be less of a problem outside of June-July if that is a worry). Fantastic access to Hideaways Beach with awesome snorkeling in the summer season (less safe in winter months). Stayed here for 3 nights, Loved the location with unreal views, great spot to watch sunset and stargaze. Fully, and I mean fully, stocked kitchen! Great space with couch, dining table and patio, would be very comfortable for a longer stay. The only negative was the AC units are loud, and the living room unit can’t cool the space. Bedroom stayed cool and although it was a bit loud it just acted as white noise, but living room was pretty hot throughout or summer stay. We had quiet neighbors but I think you could hear loud neighbors if the AC unit wasn’t on. Location couldn’t be beat though, and you felt on the edge of the princeville condos with the views which we liked, more private than being in the middle Of a complex. Overall good stay!

The condo was very well stocked with staples and basic supplies, plus everything we could need for a day at the beach. Fabulous views in the morning and for the sunset across the bay. Some minor things showing their age but nothing that was not expected. Be aware of spotty cell reception almost everywhere on the North shore so the Wi-Fi was greatly appreciated. Location and view were great. Condo itself has been somewhat updated, but property definitely has the wear and tear of being older. Sliding doors have seen better days. Air conditioner was the portable kind that is very loud, but kept it fairly cool. Washing machine was nice to have. Note cell service was very spotty (ATT) in condo. Decent and met our needs.

We had a great stay at Pali Ke Kua 103. The view is fantastic and makes this a very special unit. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and a variety of items for the beach. The unit has two portable A/C units that keep the unit cool when needed, but they are noisy. If you are looking for a unit with a view, this is the one to get!

The property location was great, and it had pretty much had everything needed for a week’s stay.
The one issue we did have was the communication with the property manager(s), as we had the unfortunate instance of the battery for the door’s key pad dying…We tried to contact the manager(s) multiple times, but were not successful and ended up stuck outside without our belongings (keys, wallet, etc) for close to 3 hours. -Considering the amount of money it is stay at the property, there should be property manager always on-call to respond to requests. Answering under an hour is understandable, but close to 3 hours for a response was unacceptable from our end.
But outside of that issue, we really enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend for whoever is staying on the North Shore in Kauai.

The views from the lanai across Hanalei Bay are better than the photo. The sunsets better than advertised. The one bedroom has everything you could need from an electric grill to washer dryer; a kitchen so well stocked we had to buy cheese just to use the variety of specialty cheese knives; bags for the beach; and full cable TV, that we barely used. In short this was the perfect place to return at the end of a day of touring and hiking.
We felt we got a great deal and this accomodations was certainly a star of our Garden Island stay. Thank you for sharing with us.

This property was literal paradise. The photos are 100% accurate and the location was perfect in terms of getting to things on the island. There is a great path leading down to the beach and if you walk a bit more, you can hit Hideaway Beach which was one of our favorites. We will return here again and again to come back to paradise!

We noticed on arrival that the laminated floor was wet in some areas of the dining room and living room. We contacted the management to inform them of this concern. They came right away to address the problem. There was no health issue with moulld. They provided us extra towels to put on the floor. It was unfortunate, it happened during our stay.

We were very happy with our stay at Pali Ke Kua #103! We are very particular about cleanliness and this unit was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was the most stocked kitchen of any rental we've ever stayed in. The King bed is comfortable, and even the pull-out sofa bed had a special foam mattress topper which made it feel like a regular bed! It is in a very convenient location with private access to Hideaways beach, and within walking distance to the the hotel beach and Queen's bath. The complex is quiet, peaceful and has amazing sunset views. Also, the Italian restaurant on the property is very good and so close! When we come back to the north shore of Kauai, PKK #103 will be the first place we check for availability, and we can't wait!

Look no further than Pali Ke Kua #103 for heaven on earth. This was our ninth vacation on the north shore of Kauai and our second consecutive rental of this beautiful condo. First of all, it was spotlessly clean. Secondly, it was equipped with everything my husband and I needed for the kitchen and the beach - two places we enjoy spending time. The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. Plus, the view of Bali Hi and the Pacific ocean from our lanai was breathtaking. We enjoyed many sunsets and rainbows just right outside our door. A note to the owner: I am concerned that there is some dampness getting under your new floor behind the dishwasher. Needs to be checked out before there is real damage to the beautiful new floor. Our overall experience was quite positive. The property was well appointed and was accurately described. With a creative shading and ventilation throughout the day, we were able to keep the condo from becoming too warm. The breezes and cross-ventilation cooled the property fairly quickly. The property was very clean and maintained well. The only negative we experienced was the lack of Internet access that we Expected. Even after contacting the rental company, we received no service call and had service on an open network for only one evening. We were pleased to be able to hike to a couple of beaches and were able to easily access our favorite spots on the island. A new activity for us was the Mini-golf Botanical Garden in Kilauea. We found it quite enjoyable. We hope to be able to take the hike on their property during our next visit.

The condo was beautifully appointed and had everything we could have needed or wanted. We like to cook our own meals and take advantage of the local fish and fresh fruit and vegetables that we buy at the Farmers' Markets along the North Shore. Although the kitchen is small (as in most condos) it is outfitted with every kitchen tool, pot or pan, and blender (of course) we needed. We would return to this unit in a heartbeat.

This was our second time staying in PKK #103, and we were not disappointed! There have been several amenities added since 2016, including two A/C units, an electric BBQ and two boogie boards and towels for taking to the beach. The kitchen is THE MOST outfitted vacation rental kitchen we have ever stayed in. Everything was very organized and clean.The location is very picturesque. It is especially convenient having a private trail (though steep) to a small, quiet beach that is good for snorkeling.Our only recommendation would be to replace the bath towels with new white ones that can take some bleach so they feel certifiably sanitized!It is clear that the owner of this unit has pride in what they offer their guests and great attention to details that will make anyone's home away from home more comfortable.Mahalo!

We had an amazing time at our home away from home. Amazing views, beautiful weather. Great open area behind condo I was able to do yoga every morning overlooking the ocean. We even saw a humpback whale swim by and hiked to two amazing places walking distance from the condo (queens bath and secret beach). The local stores and restaurants were nearby. I hope I can go back and stay here again.

This condo is just a fairly narrow strip of lawn from the edge of the cliff with a view of the cliffs farther along the coast and the sun setting behind the cliffs. The interior is comfortably furnished with a couple of portable AC units to counter that westering sun. A rather steep path from the parking lot could be problematical for those who are unsteady on their feet.

The only thing we would change is the side chair in the livingroom was very uncomfortable for relaxing while watching TV. I would rent this place again.

Perfect location with perfect views and delightful walks to see the sunset and swim at Hideaway Beach. The rental was great. It was our second stay in this unit. Its location cannot be beat. It has everything we needed for our 2-week stay. Loved watching whales and dolphins from the lanai. We got lucky one day and could snorkel right there-winter snorkeling on the north shore can be rare due to surf but we were able to get in and saw the biggest turtle ever. So cool. We hope to come back and stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Pali Ke Kua! The condo was clean, fully stocked kitchen, and had unbelievable ocean views! The pictures did not let us down! We followed the path down to Hideways beach with our snorkel gear and a picnic. The beach itself offered tons of shade which allowed us to spend almost the whole day there! Great location to access pristine beaches, meet up with the shuttle for hiking the Kalalau trail, and connecting with our catamaran tour for the Na Pali Coast. The unit itself was very clean, had all the beach supplies we could hope for, and very comfortable furniture. We stayed here for 6 nights for our belated honeymoon, hope to be back someday!

Before arriving to this property, we worried that it wouldn’t live up to the listing. It looked too good to be true!
But this place is exactly as it appears here.
The condo is clean, incredibly well-stocked, and the views…! We loved waking up to the ocean views every morning and making our plans for the day over coffee.
The sunsets are something that you have to see to believe.
We enjoyed everything about our stay and would love to come back.

Overall, my experience was excellent. The location is great and close to a beach; the sunset views are exceptional, and the place was very nice inside as well. The only possible negative that didn't really matter that much to us, since weren't in the place much was that the internet is super duper slow at around 2 MBPS download speed. If I come back to Kauai, I'd consider staying here again.

This condo was exactly what we needed for a week in Kaui. Great location, beautiful view, and all the amenities that we needed for it to feel like a home away from home.
