The Twins were fantastic! They were there if needed, but gave us complete privacy. If you’re looking to get away and relax, this really is a getaway from everything. Wailea is close, but we rarely left the property. 5 Stars!

If you were to take a Tuscan Cottage and put it in Hawaii, this is what you would have. It’s in a fabulous location, minutes from town and the beach is only a mile down the road. It’s super private and has all the amenities needed. Hammock to a deep pool for swimming. The Hosts (Twins) were amazing.

Thanks so much Marcello! We had such an enjoyable stay at your beautiful oasis. We too full advantage of everything this magical place had to offer. Early Am and late night swims. Cocktails in the bar area surrounded only by the palms and sound of the birds. BBQ fish and some of the best naps we have ever had! Perfect for a romantic getaway which we did have indeed! Can’t wait to return.

What are you waiting for? Stay here - you will not be disappointed—beautiful house with all the luxury amenities. The hosts are lovely and very attentive and friendly. They are artists and the art can be found throughout the house. I was very impressed - the art is amazing. We spent a lot of time outside in the backyard - eating breakfast out there was magical.

Marcelllo was a great host. Communicated effectively and gave us all the privacy we could wish for. The home was great and as advertised. Having the private pool was a definite plus. We felt very safe and welcome at the house.
Semi private neighborhood beach with parking was less than a mile away. Wailea was a short 5 minute drive away with plenty of restaurants, beach walk, shopping etc. Thank you Marcelo for being such a great and accommodating host. We look forward to returning.

Marcello's property is fantastic. It's well situated as a great launchpad for exploring Maui. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The pool is private, large and extremely relaxing. After a rough few years, this was the perfect paradise to recharge in. Normally we love the beach, but found ourselves enjoying the pool and privacy so much we hardly left. The hosts were amazing, as available as we needed them to be. Very helpful, but also invisible. Highly recommend this peaceful abode.

Words do not explain the beauty, cleanliness, peacefulness of this property. I had everything that was needed for my 8 day stay. The kitchen was so well equipped for any cooking needs. The hospitality of Marcello and Alessio was great. They texted me a couple of times during the week to see if there was anything I needed. I will definitely be back.

My wife & I visited Hawaii for 6 days ( not long enough) & this was a perfect place to stay. In our opinion, a good central spot on the island. The house was clean from top to toe & the hosts were great. Check in was easy & they were extremely easy to contact should we have an questions..
The Villa is spacious, has a great back yard with lots of space, a grill, sunloungers & a beautiful large swimming pool. The hosts also provided us with beach towels, beach chairs & water equipment which was great because we visited a beach each day.
I highly recommend this Villa for a stay in Hawaii. If it is available when we return to the island, we will definitely look to book.

As we read through the many comments in the guest books and the reviews on-line from your previous guests, we realized that there is not much more we can add. The place is fabulous as advertised and your hospitality and personalities are larger than life.
We do have one request though. If you ever decide to adopt two “seasoned” Canadians to move in and look after the place……make us your first call!

We are frequent travelers to Maui and have stayed at many types of locations: Grand Oceanfront Hotels, Penthouse Suites, Condos. But, Villa Paola is exactly the secluded retreat we’ve been searching for and is by far our new favorite place!
From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we realized this was going to be an amazing vacation! Villa Paola is completely hidden from view, tucked behind a wall of palm trees, yet, conveniently just steps from our car, for quick and easy access to luggage and groceries. As we stepped behind the palms we were greeted by a massive, beautifully tiled outdoor kitchen, with a huge dining table and bar. We enjoyed cooking and eating our meals in this spacious oasis and took full advantage of the perfect daily weather. The grill was just steps away and could easily be watched while setting the table or making other dishes. We spent most of our time in this area, as the table also served as our remote office space and allowed us plenty of room to spread out. We also enjoyed sunning at the pool. It was the perfect spot to sip a morning coffee or an evening cocktail, and the hammock was my favorite place to star gaze upon the fabulous Maui sky!
The rustle of the breeze blown palms and melodious Hawaiian song birds were so soothing and hypnotic that complete relaxation was inevitable. Abundant naps were enjoyed from every lounge space. It was so peaceful and tranquil that we frequently chose to stay home to enjoy the quiet serenity.
The house and property were much bigger than expected. The kitchen was fully stocked with an abundance of cookware and dishes. The bed was extremely comfortable! Rooms were large, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. If you appreciate design and attention to detail, then you’ll be impressed by the Italian Craftsmanship, impeccable tile work, and extraordinary Artwork. We were simply blown away when we realized the art pieces were created by the property owners, and part of "The Twins Fine Art Collection".
Our hosts, Marcello and Alessio were simply AMAZING! They are the definition of true gentlemen! Genuine, authentic and the kindest men you’ll ever meet! Upon arrival, Marcello gave us a personal tour, and they both went out of their way to ensure our stay was magical. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation we've ever had. Thank you Marcello and Alessio for sharing your piece of Paradise! We feel so lucky to have found you and Villa Paola! We will be back!

Villa Paola is perfectly situated between Kihei and Wailea and allowed for easy travel to beaches, restaurants and activities we planned for the week.
Marcello greeted us at the door and made sure we had everything we needed for our time there.
The villa is well appointed with all the needed amenities for a comfortable stay. We used the beach chairs and coolers provided and appreciated the water cooler for pure drinking water. The backyard pool oasis is paradise as we enjoyed our coffee in the mornings while lounging in the hammock or a glass of wine in the evenings listening to nature. We were easily able to do a load of laundry and my husband was able to grab a quick morning work out by the pool using the weights that are provided.
Marcello, thank you for sharing your villa, art and passion for all things beautiful! You and your twin are so talented. We are sorry we’re didn’t get to meet Alessio. Next time! Thank you for sharing the magic of Villa Paola!

Villa Paola is a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing oasis surrounded by palms and lush greenery. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Marcello who showed us the property and all there was to offer. So many amazing details in this incredible villa that he created. From the private pool on one side and the stunning outdoor patio on the other, you won’t want to leave.
We have stayed at several different places in the Kihei area, including the Marriott in Wailea which is amazing, but we would prefer to stay here hands down. With windows open catching the cool morning air, we were greeted with the chorus of birds cooing and calling one another, giving us the feeling that we’re in the jungle. We like to cook, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need to prepare your own meals.
Close proximity to great restaurants…Monkeypod, Cuatro, and Cafe O Lei to name a few and great beaches nearby. Kula Bistro in Kula (upcountry) is a gem worth driving to. It’s a beautiful drive about 40 minutes from Kihei. When we return to Kihei we’ll be staying at Villa Paola!

My family and I loved this villa especially the saline pool. We utilize the pool literally twice a day while we were there. The outside showers were a mega plus for after the beach or swimming in the pool. The kids really enjoyed it. The place is fully equipped and love how close you are to Monkeypod in Wailea as well as Ulua beach. The twins were great hosts, both so kind, friendly, and informational. Down to earth vibes with them two. Marcello so nice enough to show us around the place when we arrived. My husband and I will definitely book this spot again in the future.

This place is absolutely fabulous! The pictures don’t do it justice, the pool and backyard area are much larger than the photos, ( it looks like artificial turf in the photos but when you get there you’re amazed the grass is real and so perfect!)
Everything is tastefully and artfully done, and Marcello is a delight to deal with.
It is close to so many wonderful beaches and shops and restaurants, but you may just want to hang out at the home a lot of the time because it’s so nice there.
Can’t wait to stay there again.

We had an excellent time at Villa Paula. It was very relaxing. Marcello greeted us and showed us around the property, which was lovely, clean and in good shape. So many things were provided for us, beach chairs & umbrella, cooler bags and frozen cooler insets, clean BBQ grill, large water cooler and coffee! We dined in quite a few evenings and though not advertised, there were quite a few spices and pantry goods available for us to use. We did use the pool, but it's not heated, so initially a shock to jump in. Felt great on hot day! We would definitely go back!

This is a well-cared for property in the hills above the Pi'ilani Highway. It has lots of outdoor space for dining, relaxing and enjoying nature. The kitchen has an excellent electric stove with high quality pots and pans. The showers have excellent water pressure and the laundry was extremely convenient. There is a large, unheated pool in the backyard. The beds are firm and comfortable.
The owners are very welcoming and accommodating, and were quickly responsive to any requests, such as addressing some wifi issues early in the week. The next door neighbor gave a great surf lesson.

After reading all of the positive reviews and then Marcello allowing us to check it out during our earlier stay on Maui in March we booked it. The location is somewhat tucked away and private which was very nice and made us feel at home. The house had everything we needed and then some, and we especially enjoyed the large covered patio where we gathered to eat and socialize most nights. On the beautiful lawn we laid on the nice lounge chairs and did some stargazing which was awesome as the view had so many stars we don't see at home. It truly was breathtaking!
Marcello is the most gracious and friendly host and my family very much enjoyed talking to him on our last day there.
We most certainly highly recommend this place and will be back as soon as we can.

The Villa was a wonderful stay right on the border of Kihei and Wailea. The house is beautifully appointed and furnished, with everything you could possibly need and more. The hosts-provided beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, towels, and snorkel equipment were a wonderful and welcomed bonus. The pristine saltwater swimming pool is a perfect accent for families traveling with kids, or for people who desire a more private experience on the island. The lanai and surrounding grounds are beautiful, private, and very quiet. The house is just minutes away from some of South Maui’s finest and most beautiful beaches and fine dining options. Our hosts Marcello and Alessio are kind and thorough in their attention to detail and helpfulness. They are very responsive and so eager to help make your stay magical. Marcello took extra time to show us the property and give us advice on where to visit and snorkel and surf. Villa Paola is a refreshing alternative to staying at one of the resorts. We loved the layout with two separate master suites. It is perfect for two couples. The pool….wow! Extra large, salt water pool with all the amenities and a lovely view. So welcome to come home to after a day of sightseeing. We loved the outside area which had a great portico with a bar that sat four comfortably. We dined at the adjacent marble table that would seat 6 or more. Very quiet neighborhood so sleeping was easy. If you are looking to raise a little hell, this is not the place for you. If We are lucky enough to return, this is where we will stay. We're frequent visitors to Maui and really appreciated staying in a private guest home. The large pool and grounds were a treat to enjoy all to ourselves, esp. in the Wailea area. The Twins were friendly and nice to meet! They take great care of the property and maintaining the safe cleanliness. We also enjoyed their personal art pieces displayed in the home. My wife and stayed at the Villa Paola for our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived, Marcello was waiting for us and ready to greet us. The property was maintained extremely well and very clean. We were given a full tour of the place and then left alone to enjoy our stay. We weren’t bothered at all and we’re able to be left alone for the time of our stay.
