Location of this property was perfect. Great access to beaches and restaurants. Beautiful sunset views from balcony. Unfortunately the air conditioner could not keep condo cool due to 80 degree temps and multiple days of no trade winds. Condo was stocked with everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kihei for our honeymoon. Stephen was very quick at responding to emails and made the check in process very straight forward for us. Our flight arrived early and we could drop our bags off with Ronda the cleaner so that we could go for a walk until the condo was ready.
The condo is very conveniently located. It’s a 2 minute walk to Kam 2 beach as well as decent local restaurants and amenities. We hired a car during our stay which we’d highly reccomend. Being so central meant that we could get pretty much everywhere within an hour so we managed to cover the whole island in about 5 days.
We’ve had an unforgettable experience here and would highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay and there was nothing we didn't like about the property. Very close to beach and short bike ride or drive to Wailea my ultfavorite place! Shaved ice was within walking distance so we made it a daily activity! The unit was safe, easy to access, had a great pool and easy parking. We'd definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing time on Maui here. Kihei shops and dining are close, as are a number of beaches. We liked the 5th floor, as the view and privacy were great.

Had another great stay at Stephen’s condo. Kihei Akahi is centrally located amongst restaurants and shopping with a beautiful beach (Kam II) at its doorstep. This lovely condo has all the comforts of home and the amazing ocean view of the 5 star resorts just down the road. We’ve already booked our next stay. Can’t wait to return

Condo was wonderful. Clean and had everything we needed. It was very nice to be able to grab the beach chairs and mini cooler and walk the 3-5 minute walk down to the beautiful beach from the condo. It was a great central location for exploring Maui. We drove all the way around the island and explored trails and the National Park. The condo is close to lots of wonderful restaurants and the view from the porch is wonderful. We enjoyed drinking our coffee there in the mornings and watching the sunset in the evenings. We had a great experience and would recommend it again.

Great location for the beach and exploring the island, we can highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
It was clean with everything that you need, a home from home. The view from the balcony was lovely and you could watch the sunset in the evening.
The pool areas were great and well looked after. It was peaceful but had plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Contact with the owner was timely and informative.
It's a great place to stay if you're planning a trip to Maui.

Really liked the property. Well designed. Parking near each building and hose up front to wash the sand off your gear. Apartment is clean and plenty of fans to keep the air flowing. Floor was clean. Ocean view from lanai is awesome. Only thing was that AC drip tray broke on our last day and we had to help clean up the mess but the owner said he’s going to fix it.

The condo was a fantastic home base for exploration around Maui. I'm glad we stayed in this area instead of Lahaina, traffic over there looked horrible.
Check in was easy enough and the host was very responsive to our questions. The AC works great in the living and kitchen, but doesn't really reach into the bedroom. The windows help but it gets a little stuffy back there. The Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, cookware, and even spices so we could cook a meal or two.

My wife and I just spent 5 days here and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations! The condo itself is beautiful and in a perfect location, with a postcard view from the balcony, the beach right across the road and several restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. As an added bonus, the condo comes stocked with beach chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards and beach towels. Next time we come to Maui, we definitely hope to stay here again!

We loved staying here. The cal king bed was a pleasant surprise. The pull out couch wasn’t all that great but not terrible. We loved how close of a walk to the beach we were!! Building D is quiet and away from the road which was a plus.

We absolutely loved our stay at the property. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay - all the kitchen and beach amenities. Perfect location for exploring the island or just walking to the beach and nearby restaurants. The property grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with trees and birds everywhere. There was a half of roll tp already on the holder and we had one extra roll. The last day of our stay we ran out of tp. Maybe 2 extra rolls for 4 days of stay would have been better.

This property is perfect for any couple looking to stay in Kihei. The property was clean and comfortable and only a five minute to walk to the beach. Beautiful condo with great view. Everything was clean and well maintained and the property was as described. Property had an amazing breeze flowing through even in mid August, we never even turned the AC on our whole stay. The only drawback to the property was I never could figure out the water temperature for the shower, not sure if it was me or the shower but it was either super hot or cold. Overall this place was great though and we would definitely recommend. Ps, check the closet for beach and snorkel gear before you get anything…. They had everything we needed there

I only stayed 4 nights at this property in Maui, and have to say that I had a great time, so did my family. The house was very well- located, near a great beach and lots of small places to eat. The property was very well-equipped with kitchen supplies, towels, and even snorkeling gear (I brought mine, since sharing such a personal item was not something I intended to do anyway). I wanted to thank the Stephen, the owner of this unit for maintaining open communication and being very clear in his explanations, expectations and details. Mahalo!! (Thank you in Hawaiian).

The only thing that could be better would be the A/C, it was pretty hot during our visit and the air conditioning struggled to keep the back of the unit cool. First time visiting Maui as well as using Vrbo and had an outstanding experience. We had a Lahaina hotel reservation cancelled on us and were super lucky to have found this place, renting a condo in Kihei is definitely the way to go. This place is sparkling clean, with gorgeous views and high quality decor and stocked with everything you would need for a long vacation in Maui, from kitchenware to beach gear to entertainment. The housekeeper Ronda left detailed communication instructions if we ever needed anything (we didn’t, but felt at peace knowing exactly what to do if something went wrong). Super convenient location walking distance from the beach, convenience store, snorkel rentals (but check the closet first!), restaurants, and bars. The property itself is beautiful and secure, easy check in process and the parking spot is located where it doesn’t get too hot. The keyless entry is amazing, one less thing to worry about.
A few tips to make the stay more comfortable:
We used the in unit dryer and found the lint filter was very very thick, seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while but that was an easy fix.
On warmer nights we brought the living room fan into the bedroom so 2 fans were running; it didn’t feel too stuffy.
Also definitely buy or bring sunscreen - there was some that other guests had left in the bathroom cabinet and we also left some but you’ll need a lot.
Also worth bringing shampoo and conditioner and maybe body wash - a 2 in 1 travel size and a bar of soap is provided (hotel style) but if you go swimming in the ocean you’ll likely want something more nourishing for your hair if it’s higher maintenance.
Overall had a very pleasant stay, well exceeded expectations and would love to come back to Maui and stay here again. Thank you!

This property is amazing. I have absolutely nothing to complain about! Stephen is very easy to get in contact with and is very nice. They give you everything you could possibly need such as a blow dryer, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, beach towels, and so much more. The best part is the beach across from the condo is amazing. We went out snorkeling everyday and nearly saw a turtle everyday! You don’t need to drive somewhere far to see turtles, they’re right down the street! The food in walking distance is incredible, great options and not overly expensive! The set up in the condo is absolutely beautiful, I couldn’t have asked for something better! You get a nice veiw of the beach from the balcony! Once you arrive, you have to go talk to the office and let them know you’re here, which was a very easy process! The Wifi works great and everyone staying here is incredibly nice! I highly recommend, without a doubt you will love it here!
