The property was perfect for us (4 adults and one infant). The lagoon was perfect for snorkelling and we did see different kinds of fish every time we went out. The sand bottom kids pool was my son's favourite. It was made to look like a small lagoon and it wasn't fine sand, just really tiny pebbles so it doesn't get *everywhere* like sand does. The koi feeding was also a huge hit with our group.
As for the condo, it was beautiful but needs a few minor cosmetic fixes to bring it back up to the luxury property it was meant to be. Little things like the bath mats should be replaced as they are very clearly showing their age. The fake plants and candles throughout the property need to be wiped down as they are covered in a later of dust. One of the kitchen cabinets has a loose hinge with a screw that needs to be replaced. The shower door needs a good scrubbing as it has a thin film of soap scum over the bottom half. The non-slip strips on the tubs were discoloured and when you use the shower in the second bathroom, more water came out of the lower tap than the shower head.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Everything we needed was readily available and it was a great place to just relax

The lanai was probably our favorite part - the glass doors open all the way (and slide into the wall), and we spent quite a bit of time sitting on the lanai and enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean and the pools.
The villa included everything you could need for a beach vacation - beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, snorkel equipment, and beach chairs. It was great not to have to drag that stuff with us in suitcases from home.
Communication with the owner and check-in process were super easy.
We will definitely stay at this property again on our next visit to Oahu.

We enjoyed an amazing 7 nights here. We could not think of a more perfect place where our family could make memories. We spent hours on the lanai just enjoying the view. This condo is superb and has everything you could need during your stay. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. We loved having towels, and snorkel gear available to us. The snorkel gear wasn’t the best but served it’s purpose. The laundry is available but keep in mind it is a ventless drying so it takes at least 3-5 hours to dry a load. There are plenty of restaurants nearby along with a market that has some food. My advice is to make reservations for meals weeks in advance if you can. The communication was excellent before and during our stay. The pools and beach were not crowded unlike many neighboring hotels. We are counting thr minutes until we can return.

Great location and great property! Having beach chairs and snorkel equipment available at the rental was very helpful. Pictures of the unit are accurate and are exactly as the unit is. We loved staying here and would again. The view is amazing! The parking spot is a distance away from elevator used to go up to the unit, but it was nice to have a designated parking spot, and we usually just dropped people and any belongings off at the elevator before parking. The distance from the room to the beach is a bit of a walk, but it’s a nice walk through the pools and koi ponds (which were beautiful and very well maintained!) No issues with either the parking or the walk to the beach, just relaying info for other folks who book this place. We would definitely recommend this place.

This property was as described and host was wonderful. Beach is very swimmable there and peaceful. Condo was well appointed and luxurious. There was a dramatic incident involving drunk guests at the hotel in the middle of the night. While the hotel handled it very poorly the owner was superb and tried to help as much as he could.

This unit is located at KBV in the beautiful Ko Olina area of Oahu, which is much quieter and quainter than what you will find in Waikiki which is exactly what we wanted! Kitchen is very modern and fully equipped with everything you need, bathrooms are very spacious as are the bedrooms and the best part is the lanai where you can take in gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! Several pool options, close access to a nice kid friendly beach area and a pool bar make this place perfect for families! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

It was very hard to leave this luxurious apartment every day to go to my morning medical conference hosted at the nearby Disney hotel. Luckily, Khoi Dang's place had all the beach supplies needed for my family to load up in the car and scoop me up and turn my day into fun in the sun. Great spot. Too short. This property was beautiful and ideal for our group. The condo was spacious and well kept with chairs, beach towels, and a cooler that made going to the beach super easy and relaxing. Great kitchen for making meals and snacks. The view from the lanai was gorgeous, making it perfect for relaxing and especially ideal for those in our group who wanted to stay out of the sun, but wanted the view! Boy, where do I even start? The home was exceptional. The layout and use of space was really well done so it always felt really spacious there even with 3 adults, 1 toddler, and an infant. The beds were SOOOOOO comfortable, when we did get a chance to sleep, we slept well! There's a futon type couch in the living room, a pack-n-play, high chair for the dinning table, and tons and tons of beach equipment including beach chairs, floaties, mats, pool noodles, towels, etc. The kitchen has everything you need as far as cookware and dinnerware. There are basic spices left behind by previous renters so check those first before you buy a bunch of stuff. There's a Keurig coffee maker, but you'll need to buy the pods.
The lanai is huge and fantastic to hang out on plus since it doesn't get direct sunlight all the time, it's super pleasant to sit to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL view of the ocean or have meals...or morning coffee. It's a short 3 min walk for adults or 7-10min walk with a barely walking infant down to the lagoon. This is my umpteenth time on Oahu and I have to say this is my FAVORITE beach/lagoon if you have kids under 10. The water is crystal clear and there are hardly any breaks so the kids feel comfortable (and so do you) in the water without the fear of riptides, jellyfish, insert scary sea creature here. There are also 4 pools, 3 hot tubs, several grills, and gorgeous koi ponds as you walk to the beach.
On the resort, there's an ABC store called Island Market. Super convenient; they have EVERYTHING you could need, but if they don't, Target and Costco is not far away!
Almost every day we woke up, had breakfast, walked to the lagoon ...then went back lunch/nap, then went back to the lagoon until dinner time. The kids LOVED it. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. Completely worth every single penny...and Khoi was a really great host! Always available to answer any questions we had, very quickly.

Owner Khoi is quick to respond. Lynn was our in-person contact and was quick to respond and added a great personal touch. I do want to recognize Ejay. He checked us in and out and was awesome.
The unit was beautiful. The views are excellent. There are really three lanais, the main that has pocket doors that slide into the wall and open up to bring the outside in, and each bedroom has its own lanai, one of which has a panoramic view of the ocean and lagoons.
The kitchen is entirely high-end. The dishes are all Mikasa. Plenty of everything, including a rice cooker. A nice variety of seasonings, spices, etc. Two kinds of coffee makers, including a Keurig for those that like to use K-cups. You like beer? Make a pit stop at either Kapolei Costco or Walmart.
They water pressure in the shower is amazing. The washer and dryer are higher end and functional. Smaller than what you may be used to.
Plenty of beach towels, cooler, snorkel gear, beach chairs, etc. We did not use most, so cannot speak to its quality.
Parking spot is OT047. Pay attention. I missed it and found BT047. Fortunately, a vehicle was parked in what I thought was my spot. Had it not been there, I would've parked in someone else's spot. As far as parking distance to our stack of elevators, it was fine. By the way, our elevator stack to reach the unit is 9 and 10. Tip, if you have lots to carry from the vehicle, just drop it off near the elevator with a passenger. Then go park. Not a big deal and hardly a burden. The actual parking spot is perfect. Only one neighbor and very wide. Notice, some owners paid for very tight parking spots. Not Khoi. He paid for a beauty.
The grounds are amazing. I have been fortunate to travel. The koi pond and river. Wow. These koi and the water they inhabit are about as nice as I have ever seen. Crystal clear water, all kinds of colors of the koi, massive in size, beautiful falls, heavenly and therapeutic. The pools are very nice for all ages.
The sunsets and our Lagoon 2 (Honu). Oh man! So beautiful. We really had the best lagoon as it was the quietest. Cabanas on property are free. They are not at Aulani or the Marriott. Upwards of $65 a day.
Bottom line. You will be thrilled with the unit, grounds and property. We faced some rehab work on the property across the way and everything was still beautiful.

We just returned from a Christmas week vacation. We are a family of 5, with 3 teenagers.
This property was excellent from top to bottom. The check-in process was easy and the parking was convenient. The covid protocols at the resort were in effect and adhered to. The elevators were readily available and never occupied. The unit itself was great - 7th floor, ocean views, pool views. The balconies were spacious and the patio furniture was comfortable; we could see whales daily from the balconies. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and as described. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything you could want/need.
The owners left beach chairs, a beach cooler, beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear for guests to use, and they were much appreciated. The lagoon beach was perfect for sun lounging and swimming/snorkeling.
The location of the property made it easy to explore Oahu. It is close to Honolulu but away from the hustle and bustle.
Overall, an amazing vacation experience - highly recommend!

Our stay at this property was exceptional I. Quality and comfort from the day we checked in her til departure. In the newly furnished two bedroom is spacious with comfortable beds and generous living spaces. I had frequent communication with the owners and property management I was never without support if needed.
The location could not be more ideal. We’ve enjoyed the coves of Ko Olina for years and this is the most pristine and least trafficked beachfront. It’s perfectly manicured and wide beachfront allows for spacious relaxation and calm waterfront play. As with any rental property, you will need to supply your own groceries but virtually everything else is provided. Private parking, and tower specific elevator access prove to be and easy to navigate in and out experience. We highly recommend this property and will likely be back to visit again soon.

We had a nice stay during the week between Christmas and New Years. The views from the condo are breathtaking and the unit was clean and well stocked when we arrived. Master bathroom is spacious and well appointed. Linens and towels in the rooms were 5 star hotel quality. The bedrooms were a little tighter than we expected and the living room furniture could use updating, but we were too busy enjoying ourselves at the fabulous beach to really notice.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful condo in Ko Olina! The condo is very well appointed and very comfortable. We had a great time just staying in and enjoying the lanai. The sliding glass doors go all the way into the walls and completely open up the living area to the outdoors. The views are fine and you can hear the ocean. The pools are very nice and great for the kids. Khoi is great to rent from and very responsive to emails. Eric Binger gave us a great orientation to the condo when we arrived and was very accessible and responsive if we had any issues.
One concern we had was access by our kids (ages 4 and 2) to the windows in the second bedroom, which do not have any screens or protection from falling out. We solved this issue by putting a temporary alarm on the window to alert us if it was open (we purchased this at the local Home Depot in Kapolei). My 4 yr old got up on a stool and figured out the window lock within 10 minutes of being there!
Ko Olina is a great place to stay. The protected beaches are perfect for little kids and for a little snorkeling. There are plenty of local restaurants (Monkeypod was by far our favorite). The Disney character breakfast at the Aulani resort is right next door. The golf course is great also.
Overall a very pleasant experience and a great vacation! We would stay here again if we return to Ko Olina!

Our Family of five with our three girls ages, 12, 15 and 17 completely enjoyed the condo and the resort. Thanks Khoi for your patience as we navigated through this process for the first time. The November sunsets from the Lanai were picture perfect and only enhanced by walking down to the beach. The Condo offered us plenty of space to spread out and relax. Everything for the preparation and serving of meals is supplied, you just need to provide the food. Many shopping centers and grocery stores are only minutes away. There is an abundance of restaurants on the resort and nearby. A special thank you to Blair at the front desk. He was very helpful and familiar with the activities on the island and certainly helped us to make the most of our adventures both locally and around the island. Another special thanks to Ron for the great Island drinks, they were the best. All in all we had the most relaxing trip ever because we felt at home in paradise. Thanks Khoi!

The Ko olina Beach Villas are an excellent place to stay for a family vacation. The condo was clean and had all the upgrades you could imagine. It was stocked with beach toys for young kids, towels,snorkeling gear, chairs, umbrellas, all cooking necessitie, etc.. so once we did our Costco shop which was only a short drive away, we did not have to leave the villa.
Our two young boys absolutely loved the toddler pool with a sand bottom and even better swimming in the ocean which was steps away. This property was perfect and safe with two young children. We can't wait to go back.
Khoi was very quick to respond to any questions and Gabriella was helpful in getting us acquainted with the condo and Ko olina.

My wife and I, together with our two teenagers (age 17 and 16), spent a week over spring break 2013 at Khoi's villa. The villas (and this one in particular) were all that we expected. Our first stay and first VRBO rental went smoothly. Khoi was easy to deal with (booking, contact, return of deposit, etc.)
The villas/area is top notch. Being somewhat remote/quiet, it is a nice get away from the hustle/bustle of the city (some also claim better weather as well). This unit is well equipped/laid out and in great shape. We alternated - one quiet day @ the villas and then one day touring (ie Hanama Bay, North Shore, etc). All most would need in terms of shopping / restaurants etc all nearby (10 minute drive)
We would recommend this resort and renting this particular unit - All good, as they say!

This is a great Family place. Khoi has been great to work with. We have rented from him the last 3 years and as I write this review our contract for nex year is printing on the printer, Ko olina is the best of Quiet beaches and Ohau things to do. We came to Ohau 3 years ago to try a differnt island as we have always done Maui. Ko olina is very similer in that you have beter weather then therest of the Island. I could be pouring rain in Honalulu but up at Ko olina it will be dry. My Kids love the Pools and each year the don' want to go home So much that this year my Dauther told us she now wanted to live here ( wow how a 6 year old thinks) The Condo alway looks New and is very Clean. We have done lots of VRbo rentals and i can say first hand that this condo has it all. if you are looking for a great family Vacation this is the Place for you.

The condo, and the facility, more than lived up to my families expectations. The Ko Olina resort area is a great location. The picture for the property were great, but really don’t do it justice. The condo was clean and well kept, with the gourmet kitchen and glass pocket doors that open the lanai up to the rest of the condo, this is true open concept living. The views from the lanais are outstanding. The beach and ocean views are fabulous. You can sit out on the lanai, looking to the west, for the beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. Relaxing on the lanai is great, with the cool (or warm, depending on where you’re from) trade winds and great views, this was the families regular meeting place, we never used the dining room table. The TV was seldom on.
The owner answered all our email promptly, and with all the info we required. The owners property manager was friendly and helpful, and had us up and running in no time. She also had many good suggestions.
Our stay was through the Thanksgiving Holiday, and the weather was great. A few good rain showers, but they didn't last all that long. The pools and the grounds were great, but we spent our time on the beach or lounging on the lanai. Ko Olina is a little off the beaten path, but that not a bad thing. If you want a resort atmosphere without the hustle and bustle of places like Waikiki, I highly recommend this property. Being on an island, you are never really very far off the beaten path. Depending on the route you take, you are never much more than an hour from where you might want to visit, and the views you get in that hour are worth it. The surfing beaches of the north shore, the tropical windward coast line, or the attraction of Honolulu and Waikiki.
I had lived on Oahu before, so the family wanted to see some of my favorite spots on the island. It was fun, but by the time we left, we all agreed that we would spend more time around the condo, relaxing on the lanai or at the beach. My family and I would come back here again. This is a great property, and I highly recommend it.

Over the last ten years we have stayed at most of the other standard island locations (Kauai, Maui, Kona, Honolulu). For all the typical reasons Oahu ranked as our least favorite, that is until a friend of ours recommended the Ko Olina area. Convenient to everything yet isolated enough to feel like you are worlds away from the madness of Waikiki, this master planned resort area (also containing newer Disney and Marriott hotels) is perfect for adults as well as families (we have sons ages 9, 6, & 6). The owner was helpful in answering all our initial questions and made the entire rental process very simple and straightforward. This particular unit had everything you could want during your stay; not once did we find ourselves thinking "gee, I wish we had one of those". The unit was ready on time and spotless upon check-in. We had some friends also staying in the "pricier" Beach Tower next door; we easily preferred both the furniture and condition of our unit as well as the views from our Ocean Tower lanais (both pools, lagoon, and ocean; only thing you don't see is the sunset). The only "negative" thing I could think of pointing out is that both the walk to the beach and to parking might be a factor for someone with mobility issues simply due to distance. Was only an issue for us when forced to carry exhausted children back to the unit after another great day down at the beach.

This condo was beautiful and the Ko Olina beach villas resort was first class. The pictures don't do justice to the large lanai, lovely modern kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The whole place is very clean and secure. Much more relaxing than staying in busy Waikiki! We enjoyed swimming in the pools, using the barbeque, and just relaxing on the lanai or at the beach. The owners provided beach towels, boogie boards and lounge chairs. Evenings were lovely taking a stroll along the beach and watching the sunset. There is also a restaurant with a beach view/poolside bar (Longboards?)nearby as well as a good Mexican restaurant ( I think called Just Tacos) in the shopping center within the complex that was very good. Grocery shopping easy with Costco and Walmart only a few minutes away. This place is perfect if you want relaxing, quiet, and high quality accomodations.

We are taking time to write this review because we want anyone who is thinking of going to Oahu to know that this was one of our BEST vacations ever because we stayed in this particular unit...and we researched quite a few.
We knew from the website that the inside of the condo was beautiful and the outside near the ocean and lagoons, but we had no idea that:
* The grounds are absolutely beautiful, secure, quiet, & relaxing
(Just go to the Disney hotel is you want chaos & noise!)
* The other guests/owners were low key, family types...very nice!
Our grandson had a blast with the kids vacationing when we were.
* The Ko Olina area turns out to have the LEAST rain on the island!
* We never wanted to leave the condo....why leave paradise???
* A building that blocked us seeing the sunset from our lanais
was actually a plus.. We went to the lagoon to see sunsets, but
from our lanais, we were never blasted by the sunset and heat.
* Great view of all grounds from our lanais... we could see our
family members swimming and hot tubing!!
* There was very easy access to restaurants, shopping, sites, etc.
* None of us wanted to get up from the wonderful beds...soooo comfy!
THERE WASN'T ANYTHING THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT....
