We had an amazing stay at Glorias condo. She was so easy to work with and very responsive. The condo is centrally located and right across the street from Kam II beach, one of the best. Condo was spotless and the gift basket was over the top including a personalized hand towel. When you go, dont miss Changs Beach to swim with turtles galore! Condo pics are exactly what you get. Great view but partially blocked by palm tree. Still awesome. Complex is very clean and quiet.

We had a wonderful time at Gloria’s Condo. The condo has everything you need and is very nice and comfortable. It is updated, has great air conditioning and is in new condition. We lacked nothing. Gloria is so hospitable in that she leaves you with personal touches such as a gift basket. She is always available to talk to if you need to get ahold of her and is very helpful and accommodating. You are right by the beach and close to everything. It’s the Perfect location and condo. We loved it there and will definitely be back!!! Thank you again Gloria!

Gloria's a great host. A nice location right across the street from one of the many great beaches. A spacious apartment well equipped with anything in the kitchen, plus beach towels and chairs and an umbrella. A/C worked great plus ceiling fans. My one issue was noise in the bedroom from the apartment walkway, the windows in a lot of the units provide zero sound dampening, but I started using silicone ear plugs and that did the trick.

We have stayed at this complex multiple times because we love the location but was our first time with this host. Upon arrival there was homemade banana bread, a pineapple, chocolate covered macadamia, and some Hawaiian chips, along with an embroidered personalized hand towel…..much more than is typical, and we thought this was a very nice touch to welcome us to the island. I had asked for a pack n play for our son, and when we got there it wasn’t at the site, but within 15 mins of contacting the host, she had brought one over. Air conditioning worked great, and was one of the best units I’ve experienced in hawaii. Everything was great, and we even were running late at check out, which put cleaning behind, and the host was very understanding as we rushed to get all our luggage out. My only complaint was my infant son who is crawling all over the place kept discovering piles of lint and dust that had accumulated into corners and under furniture. I’m pretty sure it came from the dryer, probably circulated because of the air conditioning, but I took one star off of cleanliness because I would hope under furniture and corners were getting cleaned more…. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it though if it weren’t for my son, and it wouldn’t stop me from coming back. The price was more than fair and we enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time in Maui - I booked at 3 different locations on the island so that my partner and I can experience all of Maui (first at Lahaina, then Hana, and finally Kihei). And we were absolutely pleased to end our trip at this particular location. The unit was, by far, the best one we stayed at - it was centrally located around many shops all within walking distance. And not to mention, it was across the street from a very nice beach. The unit, itself, was very lovely! It was clean, the balcony was spacious with a lovely view, love the decor and vibe of the place. The unit was much larger than I thought - which was very nice. The kitchen was great. And what's more, our host included a personal/custom gift - we really felt the thoughtfulness that went into it. Thank you so much for being a part of our journey and vacation in Maui. If I return, this would be the place I would want to stay at again!

This property is amazing!!! The condo overlooks a courtyard area and offers some ocean views as well. Short walk to beach and shops. The property owner has a fully stocked unit including towels, beach chairs, coolers and more. She also left a most thoughtful welcome gift with fresh cake, chips, candies and a lovely embroidered towel!! The unit does have an AC unit however we never needed to use it. The fans and open patio door allow for a perfect temperature. Thank you so much Gloria for allowing us to stay in your property. Hope to be welcomed back again next year.

It is a beautiful appointed condo with all the amenities. An easy walk to the beach and close to some yummy, reasonably priced for Hawaii, restaurants. We enjoyed everything about our stay at this fabulous condo. Entire unit was spotless CLEAN.. Gloria, the owner, communicated very quickly and was gracious to host our last minute stay, even letting us set our luggage and groceries into the unit early as we had checked out of a nearby unit that morning..
We didn't get a chance to prepare meals, but the newly remodeled unit and kitchen were fully equipped with everything a gourmet chef might desire. Did I mention CLEAN!!! Bathroom remodel is amazing. Love the built in shower bench, water pressure, and faucets.
The newly installed air conditioning was a welcomed treat as the weather was almost 90 degrees that week in Kihei.
This unit showcases the pride of local ownership. We were so impressed with Gloria and her darling personal touches throughout the condo - and the "sweet" surprises that she left for us. Thank you again!
My daughter and I look forward to visiting Maui soon, and will definitely check the calendar for this beautiful and very special unit. Everything PERFECT.

We loved going to the beach right across the street to watch the sunset. The beach chairs from the condo made it very comfortable. We walked to many restaurants and shops during our stay. Unit was great as advertised. Close to the action but no street noise. Only negative, and certainly not specific to this unit, was that one morning a local rooster decided to start his activity around 3 am. If you are a light sleeper like me you might want to bring some earplugs! Otherwise a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The ability to walk across the street to enjoy the beach and a short walk to shops and food was really nice.
The condo was lovely, air conditioning was so nice in the bedroom and living space and the welcome package was such a nice touch!
Only bad thing was the the rooster that we named Hei Hei - he couldn’t tell time and we got a wake up call at all hours each morning…. So bring ear plugs.

The bed was super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed for some dinners in, the Lani was a sweet place to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails. We utilized the beach towels, chairs, and cooler everyday at our two favorite beaches right across the street. And the grounds are beautifully adorned with plumeria, hibiscus, and many more garden beauties. Finally, Gloria's extra welcoming goodies and helpfulness when we got in a jam went above an beyond! We have stayed in many beach houses around the world that we have found on Vrbo. This, by far, is one of our favorites!
Gloria is the perfect hostess, the welcome basket was a nice surprise and brought tears to my eyes! Fresh pineapple, banana bread, macadamia chocolates and the adorable personalized hand towel was pleasantly above and beyond the usual endless list of regulations that you typically find first when renting a place.
The condo is spotless and has everything you need. Beach chairs, coolers, ice packs, umbrella, beach towels, all included for your use. Dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo and sunscreen all there. The breeze on the fifth floor made it unnecessary to use the air conditioner. The pool was nice when afternoon winds made sitting on the beach difficult.
The view from the lanai was relaxing and wonderful. We went out to dinner one night and the rest of the nights brought food back to the condo to sit out and enjoy the view.
The location is perfect. Across the street are three of the best snorkeling beaches on the island. It was nice to park the car and be in walking distance for food, shopping, ice cream and of course shave ice. We drove around the entire island on our vacation and are convinced Kihei is the best spot to stay in.
It was our first trip to Hawaii, but we hope not our last. We would most definitely stay with Gloria again, I cannot think of one thing that we didn’t love!

This is my 2nd time staying in a property at the Kihei Akahi condo complex and my 1st time staying at Gloria's rental. I love this complex as it is so impeccably maintained and so close to everything. There is a great beach literally across the street, and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The unit itself appears to have more recent renovations including having both split air A/C units in the living room and the bedroom (many of the other rentals there only have a small living room wall unit from what I can tell). There is a lovely ocean view from the exterior patio. The in-unit washer/dryer was a life saver. Even the included parking spot was a nice-sized end spot that my large rental SUV could fit in. Gloria also prepared some delicious welcome treats and even embroidered a custom towel which was so thoughtful! I will definitely book this unit again in the future.

My wife and I come to Maui often and always stay in Kihei. Our normal place was booked so of course we had to try a new place . WOW is the best reaction . I was worried at first because we like being on the street where we can hear the water at night . This place was perfect. Great view . Quiet, clean well kept grounds . The personal touches were great. The towel, banana bread , great cofffee and chocolate were nice . We will be back here for sure on our next trip . Hopefully it will be available. When we arrived, the condo had some nice gifts to welcome us. The condo was spotless and well stocked with everything flashlights to beach chairs. The only damper was on my checkout day. Checkout is 11:00 AM. It was a few minutes after 11 and the owner came and bluntly said checkout was 11:00. I told her I was waiting for someone who was taking me to the airport. I literally left after she arrived, but she didn’t have to use the tone of her voice with me.

This is a larger complex but you woul never know by the setting of this quiet condo. The lanai opens to a beautiful green space with birds chirping all day. Sit on the lanai and enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and Haleakala Volcano. The furnishing have been updated recently and felt as comfortable as home. The king bed is so comfortable! You don't need a car here as it is centrally located and walking distance to stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this reasonably priced condo in Kihei.

The beach chairs and umbrella were used every day along with the cooler. Sitting on the deck seeing the ocean was beautiful.
