The condo was exactly as it stated in the listing. It was clean and the views were spectacular! We were also happy to find beach chairs and boogie boards in the closet to use! We walked to dinner and shopping almost every night. The beds were very comfortable also. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook when we chose to stay in. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a week in July 2023. The unit is just as shown in the listing. The view is spectacular. Beds were comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous. We didn’t need to communicate much with the property manager, but did ask for a late check-out which was granted. I highly recommend this property.

The property was great and fit our needs. The checking in process was very easy and the folks at the desk were very helpful and knowledgeable. The location of the property was wonderful. It was and easy walk to shopping, restaurants and other activities like a Luau. Waves broke right in front of the condo and we could watch the surfers, snorklers and swimmers from the Lanai. Facing the beach just made the trip and the kids loved it.

My whole family enjoyed every minute of our visit to Maui, and the accommodations were the icing on the cake. Very spacious, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked. Beautiful property in a perfect location with incredible views and everything we needed. We loved surfing right off the beach in front of the property, swimming in the beautiful pools, walking to shops at whalers village and walking around Lahaina. It was the perfect base to explore Maui.

This was our best family vacation ever and this property had a lot to do with that. The location is incredible with hands-down the best sunset view we’ve ever enjoyed. Each night, being on the lanai to take in the sunset was an event. We rearranged our dinner reservations to make sure we could fully take in the sunset and the afterglow. Whalers Village is less than a 5-minute walk away which was super convenient for dining, shopping, and water activities. The unit was beautifully furnished and well equipped. It lived up to the expectations set by the pictures and description. The resort had a great pool/bbq area and very nice fitness center. We would absolutely stay here again for our next Maui vacation!

The location of this property is absolutely amazing. Over the last 20 years I have stayed at many of the condos at the Kaanapali Alii and this one by far has the best view of any of them. Unfortunately that’s the great part. The not so great part is that the condo is in dis-repair. Dryer didn’t work, kitchen light was out, master bathroom had some lights out as well as other lights didn’t work throughout the condo. The automatic blinds were hit and miss. Sometimes they’d go up and sometimes not. Not all the burners on the stove work as well as there is no vent fan. There were outlet covers that were missing, lamps that would not turn on etc. The condo is also in need of a deep scrubbing. The carpets in the bedroom obviously were not vacuumed before our stay because they were still full of footprints as well as a woman’s shirt hanging out from under the master bed. The dust has been there quite a while as there were lots of little finger prints in them. The condo overall just needs some TLC. In my opinion if you are asking top dollar to rent a condo my expectations are that the condo would have working appliances, be cleaned on a regular basis and maintained properly. Did I mention we went a week without a washer and dryer because the dryer didn’t work? The property manager assured me it did on two occasions and then finally had a maintenance guy look at it the day before we left to swap it out because it didn’t work.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Condo had everything you need for a vacation including beach chairs, a cooler, noodles, boogie boards, and even games to play & books to read. TV has Netflix & Hulu for movie watching. Property had towels to take to beach or pool and there’s even a BBQ area for grilling with plenty of spices and a bbq master who will cook all your food!! All the hotels are in a line and next door so you can easily go to all of them for meals, drinks, luaus etc. there’s a free trolly that also takes you up & down kaanapali beach and to the market. Concierge can book all excursions and rents snorkels etc. tons of spices in cabinet to use for all your cooking needs. Washer & dryer in unit are kinda hard to figure out and instructions for tv aren’t up to date. WiFi is strong in condo. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with pans, dishes, etc.

My cousins and my husband stayed at the condo for 5 days. The condo and view were as beautiful as advertised. There’s a mall a short walk away with restaurants. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about our experience. It was great! Owner promptly responded to any questions. Highly recommend this property!

The blinds didn't work so we had blaring afternoon sun coming in. The washing machine is so old that all the labels were gone so you didn't even know where to put the detergent! They were stripping wallpaper in the hallway all week and the fumes were toxic and came into the condo. It was really bad and when I asked the owner for compensation she didn't get back to me. So I guess we won't be renting this unit again.

I gave this 5 stars because the descriptions and pictures allowed me to understand exactly what I was getting. Never interacted with the owner but the binder they left allowed us to know exactly what to do. If you complain about this property then you didn’t look at the photos or read the description. No real reason for reviews on this property. Read the description, look at a map, and don’t book it the weeks I want to go to Hawaii!!!! I will rent this again without concern.

The layout was great for our family. Having rented many VRBO's you come to believe the place will not be like the pics make it seem it is. Not true of this condo, it's beautiful. Host was super organized and communicated very well. She took great care of us. Location and quality of the condo are well worth the price.

This unit was wonderful. Simply wonderful. Location right on beautiful beach. Large outdoor patio space with many gas grills to cook out. Pool was very clean. We were delighted to find tons of beach gear in the guest closet..chairs, boogie boards, sand castle supplies, flippers for snorkeling, pool noodles, volleyball, football, cooler...everything one could want for hours on the beach. Also had a large reusable cooling block in freezer for our cooler. If you want a lovely ocean view, clean/well maintained spacious unit, not crowded soft sandy beach, space to grill out, within walking distance to shops or restaurants, endless supplies to enhance your trip, then this is your place!!

Beautiful, well maintained property; excellent location. Expensive but worth every penny. One thing to realize however; the property is handled by another management company so the Alii will not (cannot?) assist in any matter that may arise. The number for that management group in the unit went to a construction company. We were able to get the correct number by googling it.

This getaway did not disappoint. The home is beautiful and carefully furnished. The beds were comfortable, the showers are wonderful and the property was well kept. The people working there were always helpful and friendly. The beach is the best in the area and you can walk to dinner and shopping easily. Our family of four had room to spread out and a lanai with an amazing view for breakfast and games. I would go back tomorrow if I could!!

This condo was wonderful in so many ways, but it's proximity to lovely Kaanapali beach was amazing! We literally spent hours on the beach each day and enjoyed beautiful Maui sunsets each night. It is also within walking distance to parasailing, snorkeling, shopping and dining. The condo is very well equipped and we enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards that were provided. We would love to come back!

We had a great time staying at this property. The location is perfect for all sorts of activities (snorkeling, zip-lining, sight seeing, various beach stuff, dining). The view from the lanai is out of this world. And Erin was fantastic with her various suggestions and overall help. We will definitely stay here in the future.

The condo is super nice. Very tasteful remodel. The kitchen was well
equipped. My only gripe was the master bathroom light for the commode
and shower area was not working. You either had to do your business in
the dark or leave the bathroom door open for light. On checking In
I immediately noticed this and called Erin as instructed. There were
specific instructions in the lease to not use the on site management
co. Erin's voicemail indicated she was away and not responding to
email or voicemail. She left an alternate person to call but I got no
response. After 2 days in the dark I emailed her and finally got a
response. The people who came to fix the light situation were ill equipped as they did not have the expertise to repair several bad ballasts and ended up switching light bulbs so both bathrooms were dimly lit. The first people did not even have light bulbs. I would think a luxury situation would have a much better
back up situation in place like the on sight management or someone
that is responsive. Erin never offered any remuneration for this lack of service. Awesome high end place with questionable service situation.

We just returned from our stay in Maui at the Kaanapali Alii. The condo was absolutely beautiful! Everything there was beautiful and clean and well tended. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Of course the views were spectacular and we just hated to leave and the Alii has many wonderful amenities to take advantage of. Wonderful Resort...wonderful Condo !

This Kaanapali Alii condominium is very spacious and comfortable. The unit is actually nicer than the photos because the livingroom furniture has been upgraded since the photos were taken. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped and the appliances very nice. One bonus was availability of four sets of snorkel gear and beach umbrellas in the guest bedroom closet. Our visit was at the start of the spring-break season, so Kaanapali Beach was quite busy. Despite this, we were always able to find plenty of pool space and never felt crowded in the pool area. The workout facilities are also superb. The Alii staff were remarkable; I think that they get nicer and nicer every year. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The condo was just beautiful along with the view. The photos reflect the condo well. It was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. Perfect for a family with 2 teens and 2 young adults. The flat screen TV's in the condo and by the pool allowed my young men to surf, swim, boogie board, and snorkel all am and do NCAA BB all afternoon. Black Rock for snorkeling is just a short walk up the beach walk. There are great shops and restaurants in Whalers Village and Lahaina.
My daughter and I took advantage of the spa. We saw many whales spouting and breaching right off our patio. We woke up in the early mornings with a full moon setting on the western horizon and the sun setting in the evenings.
Would highly recommend! Location perfect to get to many activities …or totally relax.

As the title mentions, this place was both amazing and perfect. This was our first visit to Maui and because we have young children (<5 years old) we really wanted a place with a kitchen. We also wanted to take in the beach view, and ocean front was must after the long travel. This condo far exceeded all expectations. The kitchen was well-equipped, all needed utensils available, lots of pans, Tupperware, wine glasses for the balcony, and plastic cups to take to the pool. Besides having everything we needed, the unit was quite spacious and the views were unbelievable.
The complex itself was in a great location 5 minutes from Whaler’s Village. There were always people at the pool, but it was never too busy. More people appeared to go to the beach, but there was also always a spot and the complex provided beach chairs. One day we rented one of the cabanas which was very convenient with the kiddos.
We would definitely recommend this complex and this luxurious unit, and we hope to be back in the near future!

Wow what a great unit.. It was beyond what I expected from the description and the view is amazing.
We had them add housekeeping of the unit every other day which worked out perfectly... The unit was so comfortable that it felt like home after a couple of days.. wish I was still there!
Erin was great in coordinating our stay and setting us up for everything.
I would highly recommend this unit and will hopefully go back there next year...

Our family has just returned from a glorious 14 day stay at your beautiful condo. The view of the ocean, the beach and Lanai was truly magical. The condo had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. The grounds of the condo had beautiful swimming pools, 2 great hot tubs and very well groomed lawns. The gym on the property was first class as were the tennis courts. The condo is situated on Kaanapali Beach and is walking distance to the Whaler's Village which is filled with fantastic shops and restaurants. If you are up for golf you can walk to the first tee of the Kaanapali Royal course. We would definitely recommend staying at this condo and we plan to return in the very near future.

This condo had everything we needed and more. Gorgeous views from every room- really couldn't be more ocean front without actually being in the sand. We enjoyed being up on the 6th floor which was much more quiet then ground level and I swear the views are better from a little higher up anyway. We felt like the condo was more like a tiny home- it is much more spacious than a hotel room and it had an amazing Hawaiian decor with sea life sketched on the glass doors leading to kitchen to the Koa wood everything. We cannot wait to come back.
