What a great property and location! So close to the beach, 3 pools (at least) and easy to drive in and out of. VERY well stocked with equipment for fun in the sun or cooking great meals. We had an awesome time! Highly recommend--we had stayed in another unit at the Wailea Ekahi and definitely prefer this one!!!

We just returned from a 3-week stay at Barbara’s wonderful home in Maui. I don’t know where to begin - Maui Rendezvous is just amazing. From the minute we landed in Maui, Barbara was in communication with us, ensuring that we were settled and had everything we needed. The condo is in excellent condition and had everything we could have imagined to make our family holiday perfect. Everything from spices to extra pillows and bedding were provided and made every aspect of our stay so special. Ekahi is an exceptional property with many pools, gorgeous gardens and easy private access to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. My kids enjoyed the beach and pool every day, and Barbara had even provided the beach chairs, noodles, buckets and toys for them to enjoy. Wailea is a fantastic neighbourhood with amazing offerings of restaurants, art and shopping. We enjoyed the beach walk to the various hotels, and the proximity to the Shops where we’d often end up for ice cream! Everything is within walking distance. My husband and I both had to work while we were away, and the condo has excellent Wifi which made it so easy. We had the best experience at Maui Rendezvous and can’t wait to return!

Let me start off by saying that we have stayed in Ekahi multiple times over the years and this condo was the worst by far . . . the pictures are truly deceiving. 2 dead large cockroaches in the kitchen and a awful musty smell (which never subsided) when we first entered. When getting settled in we noticed notes for literally "everything" in the unit on how to use it, to make sure it is replaced exactly as it was set and warnings/threats of losing your deposit if not done exactly right. The entire unit was almost completely original (like walking into a 1960s condo) down to the old crystal glasses and worn colored plastic plates in the cabinets. We had no options to change our accommodations due to it being Spring Break or we would have immediately left. The units location is good, but that is all I can say that is positive about it. Truly dissapointed and hope this will help someone else. We should have paid more attention to the other reviews that said the same as we have mentioned here.

My wife and I spent the better part of March ‘22 in this wonderful condo. All in all a pleasantly comfortable place. We felt right at home. No bug problem for us.
The kitchen has been renovated with beautiful granite counters and comes well equipped with every thing you can think of. We cooked in the unit frequently and also made use of the outdoor grills. Many enjoyable meals on the lanai.
I really appreciated the Sleep Number bed in the master bedroom. Very comfortable.
The pullout couch in the living room is a bit worn and the foam pad mattress thin. It was used for a few nights by overlapping adult family members. We further supplemented the foam with the two futons that also come with the unit making it much more comfortable. The pullout would probably be just fine for a couple of young kids or short term for adults.
We didn’t have to use the air conditioners a great deal. One in the bedroom and one in the living room worked very well when needed to cool things off.
You cannot beat this location. Wonderful grounds, pools and beach access. The condo was clean, well organized and comes with everything you need for a stay at Ekahi. Barbara (the owner) and her local crew were responsive, accommodating and very easy to work with.
We are looking forward to returning next year.

I was bitten by bugs during the night and checked out the next morning. The owner agreed to refund and I’m still waiting. The couch is 30 years old broken down and dusty. The place has a musty smell. The bed was stained and the pull out bed had 2 inches of Styrofoam over really harsh springs. The owner continue to ask questions with an underlying assumption that I was lying about the bugs. I have a video of the bugs and a picture of the bloody bites.

Wonderful property. Enjoyed the walk out lanai to the large lawn. Made things easy w/ a little one and getting down to the beach w/ the stroller. Kitchen was well stocked w/ untensils, supplies, etc. Great time relaxing in Maui.

A Treasure of a unit , wanted to stay for years surrounded by a lifetime of love .
The joy , generous spirit infused here from years of adventures , collections and every imaginable item to have a wonderful relaxing experience .
If you are looking for the latest decorating or minimalist culture - look elsewhere .
On the other hand if what you want is to relax , snuggle in , feel supported to really enjoy the beach , the island , family and friends - this is home . ❤️

This place is perfect for a whole family either with small kid or adults and it has every single little thing you need for cooking and summer fun activities as described on the website. Since it is located in very quiet neighborhood, also you can enjoy your time without being disturbed by any noise. The landscape outside is well maintained and it is very nice through the windows. The only drawback we had while staying there was a rusty metal dish rack, some kitchen utensils with chips, and a kitchen window with water stains I had to clean myself in order to enjoy beautiful landscape while doing dishes. I don’t expect everything perfectly maintained but I hope these needs to be replaced for the next guests. Other than that everything was great, and we really enjoyed our getaway from our work and came back with wonderful memories.

This condo had everything we needed, and the two bathrooms were great! We had such fun playing cards at the two dining tables, indoor and outdoor. The location near the pools and beach was amazing. We love Mokapu and Keawakapu beaches. Sunsets were beautiful, the area was quiet, and the grounds were gorgeous. Filtered water from the fridge was a plus; wifi worked perfectly. The condo had plenty of supplies, and there were lots of helpful instructions posted. When we used the A/C, it was quiet and efficient.

Pool and beach ideal location. The home does not sleep 5. Very comfortable king bed and rickety old sleeper sofa in the main area. Far too many posted notes with instructions and threats of fines. One binder would have been sufficient. Added info on local restaurants and trash/recycling. Needs updating and decluttering. Great location for us as we wanted to be off the main road and near the ocean.

My wife and I love Maui and ever since we found this condo it is the only one we stay at. For this trip our plane arrived early and the owner was wonderful about working with us for an early check-in. Great communication from the owner and very helpful! The condo is clean and well kept. We love that there are so many items provided. I love using the BBQ and there are spices provided so I can really cook. We both love learning about the animals around Maui so we love that there are field guides provided. The pool and beach are so close and the beach is one of the best beaches on Maui. It has a reef for snorkeling and has small waves for boogie boarding. We also love that we can walk along the beach to Wailea shops and restaurants. The location is perfect for us. We highly recommend this condo to all our friends and family.

We have been spending a month in the winter in Maui for 30 years. This was our first stay in Ekahi Village and Maui Rendezvous. We are a retired couple, this was the best experience we have had in all those years. The ocean and pools are a quick walk and very private. The grounds of Ekahi are beautiful. We loved the space and the second bathroom. Preciously in our rentals we have not had a grill, washer/dryer in the unit and well stocked unit – all of which were greatly appreciated in this unit. Parking is right outside the door. There are many outlets for all your electronics and access to anything you might need online. We are returning for a month next year. Any questions we had received a quick response from the site manager and the owner.

My husband and I were so pleased with the quality of this rental. When we arrived the condo was clean and inviting. The condo is updated and conformable. We love cooking in the well stocked kitchen and eating on the lanai. The condo comes stocked with everything we could have needed to make our vacation great. The closets have recreation gear and there were toiletries in the bathroom. Next time we come, I am going to pack lighter since there was so much we could use already there. There were even boogie board and beach chairs! The condo is well organized and there was still lots of space for us to make ourselves at home. At night we watched TV on the comfortable couches and slept great on the sleep number mattress. The location of this condo is really special. It is on the quiet side of Maui, in Wailea, and very close to Makena, which is where we love to go snorkeling. We are already trying to plan when we can go back.

My husband and I just stayed here for the 6th time! We love it here and we are very comfortable here. The condo has everything stocked that one would need. It's a perfect place for a couple but has room with the sofa bed for a couple kids too. Just a short distance to the beach for a daily walk on the beach or to 4 pools. This place has always been clean and organized and we'll be coming back next year!

My wife and I stayed at Maui Rendezvous, starting on January 11th, 2017. I must say, we were impressed. The condo was clean and well organized. There were lots of useful items supplied by the owners, for example, condiments, spices, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, sand toys for the children, and even cold weather clothing, in case we wanted to go to the top of Haleakaia mountain to view the sunrise or sunset. The large comfortable lanai has an expansive view of the beautiful lush grounds. It is obvious the owners take pride in this FIVE STAR condo. We will be back!

We arrived at 5 and the cleaning lady was still there finishing up. We came back and started to settle in and found the unit crammed with Stuff: closets unusable, kitchen crammed and labels EVERYWHERE! Too much stress trying to keep every bit of junk where it should be. As we started to unpack and make some dinner we realized that the unit was dirty and had been for some time. It also is rundown. The bed linens are horrible. The location is good and the bbq terrific on the lanai. The new dishwasher, refrigerator and stove are great but the cupboards were not updated and flake paint over everything. This unit needs to be updated with better everything in order to be worth the huge price charged for it.

Nicely stocked kitchen and a great location on the green belt at Ekahi. Also some good toys and games. The condo is updated nicely. The checkout is too early (9:30) and the view is not an ocean view it is a garden view. Nicely managed and friendly.

Close to two small pools and only 4:11 minute walk to the big pool. All the snorkel and beach gear is there. I wish there was a cooler for the pool but I had one, just in case. The bed and couch are comfortable. It is well stocked with everything you need: towels, bath stuff, kitchen stuff and the like. We loved it and will look to visit this unit again in the future!!!
The owner was easy to contact and very friendly. The instructions are complete and easy to follow. The whole unit has labels so everything is easy to find and keep neat. Great ownership by far!!!

The condo was great and although there was not a view of the ocean, the grounds were very nice and sitting on the patio was very relaxing. The condo had everything we needed and having the 2nd full bathroom was great since we had 3 people staying there.

My husband and I have been staying here for the last 5 years and have already booked for next year. I can't think of anywhere else I'd like to stay on Maui. The condo has everything you could want and more if you ask, just a phone call away. Very clean and well supplied and convenient. The condo is quiet and feels private. The outdoor gardens are beautiful and well manicured and I love listening and watching the birds all day. Just a short walk to the pools and beautiful sandy beaches, a short drive ( or walk ) to the many restaurants and shops if you're not up to walking. I hope to be able to stay here for many more years!! It is truly paradise.
