So due to unforeseen circumstances and the fact that we was there when the wildfires were going on we still enjoyed are stay at this resort. Robert was a excellent host. He communicated with us the whole time before our arrival and after the fact that we had no power no phone service when the fires were going on. He wanted to make sure my family was safe and that everything was ok. Even tho this was not the vacation we had planned we still enjoyed the resort, and the area was beautiful! This was are first time in Hawaii and we will be back. My husband said he would like to stay in the same room and resort that we just stayed in. We did decide to leave early and a Robert was generous enough to give us back some of the money we had given him for our stay. We would love to stay here again when we come back. Next time will be better but the resort itself was excellent. ! The people there was very nice and friendly, the staff was super nice, the area beautiful and Robert an excellent host. Would highly recommend this resort.

I have zero complaints about this property! The location was the best there is at this resort. Just seconds away from the beach where it's not crowded at all and then seconds away from 2 different pools that also weren't crowded. I highly recommend this property!

We had the pleasure of staying at this condo for 8 nights. It was exactly like pictured and had everything we wanted. The location is perfect - Close to the pool and beach. There is a beautiful view from the Lanai which was furnished with a table, chairs and two loungers. We loved being able to see part of the sunset every evening. It has a nice full size kitchen. We did not do a lot of cooking but there is everything you need and more! The condo was clean, the beds comfortable and the air conditioning work great. The resort is very nice and well taken care of. The grounds are beautiful with palm trees and flowers everywhere. There are two pools in the court yard. We liked the one closer to the ocean because it went up 7ft. There is a beach right in front of the property and there is a place to rent chairs, umbrellas, wagons and snorkel equipment right by the pool. Everything is so convenient! There is a restaurant on the property as well as a coffee shop, gift shop and a small convenience store. There is a grocery store across the street as well as some restaurants. We truly had a great stay! Thank you to our host!

Condo is in the perfect location, close to both the beach and the pools with a gorgeous view! All the beds were comfy. I couldn’t have dreamed a better trip! We absolutely loved the location of this property, and the inside was even better than the pictures. Lots of room for 4 of us! The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed prior to our arrival. They even had lots of extras inside for us if needed. It was gorgeous inside, beautiful view from outside and the grounds are amazing too! If we ever get to come back to Maui, I would only want to stay here!

Our stay at this condo was very good and it started with prompt replies from the host to all of my questions. The condo was just as it was listed and as seen in the pictures. The property is on a very nice resort with 2 pools and hot tubs and a restaurant. We were very comfortable in this property with 2 adults and 2 teens.

Our unit rental was well maintained and had everything we needed to accommodate our two week stay with 4 adults.
The tenant had provided enough soap for laundry and for our dishwasher for our stay. The location of the resort is a perfect location with the local bus stop out front, the grocery store across the street and food trucks handy if you don't want to cook any night. The location of the unit was perfect being in the shade all day. We could see the ocean from our lanai to watch the whales. The grounds at Kaanapali Shores are well maintained. Our tenant got back to us right away when we had any concerns. We would recommend this unit to anyone looking for nice quiet resort with a great location.

Had a wonderful stay! Perfect for us and our 2 young kiddos. We had our own rooms and bathrooms with separate living room and kitchen which made it so easy to get the kids to bed and have some time to ourselves. It’s located right between the 2 pools with beautiful views of the ocean. Easy access to the parking lot by stairs or elevator. It’s at the end of the hallway so felt a bit more private. The unit is well loved in some areas, especially the master bathroom, but it wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. Robert was a great host with quick responses and made the experience easy and welcoming. He even sent over a long list of tips his wife had put together which we utilized while planning the trip. Traveled with friends who stayed in a different unit on the property and theirs wasn’t nearly as nice as ours.

This is our second stay at this property and again, it was great! Perfectly located for easy pool & beach access— great for the kids! The condo was fully equipped for a family of 5. We enjoyed the terrace looking over the pool, as well as beach view. We also really enjoyed the beach view from the master, and the sounds of the waves crashing late at night & early in the morning… dreamy.

This property has everything you would want in a vacation rental. It has a better view of the ocean than what is shown in pictures. It has all the kitchen amenities you would expect and then some extra such as a mixer. There are some basic spices as well. The beds were comfortable as was the sofa. The location has two pools and a grocery store across the street. You are less than a 15 min drive from Whaler's village and Lahiana for shopping. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I am deducting points for cleanliness as the curtains by the door were very dirty and there was a spill of some sort on the bedroom wall. There is also carpeting which is always questionable although it didn't appear to be dirty. Overall I thought it was a great rental.

You really can’t beat this location…. I’ve been yo Kaanapali before and you can’t really go wrong, but the 2 bedroom layout was awesome for a family of 4. I can see this accommodating a family of 6.
Prices for beach rentals and pool side lounge couches are amazing too!
Restaurant on site is always a plus and they have a bar that can seat a dozen.
Will definitely be coming back to this property! Thanks for everything!!

My husband and I rented this condo with our two adult sons to enjoy a family vacation. The layout of this condo is perfect! We had plenty of room to have a few other family members over for drinks. The condo is fully stocked and decorated beautifully. Every morning we sat on the balcony and had our breakfast with the beautiful backdrop of the ocean and palm trees When I come back to Maui I will absolutely rent this exact unit again. The unit itself is amazing. Tons of room. A giant master and very spacious second bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen, full size refrigerator and ice maker. The views from the living room and master are awesome. Its well situated at the end of the property so you can park close to the elevator that takes you up to the 3rd level. You wont need to go through the main lobby after initial check-in. That all said, you will want to spend at little time as possible inside! LOL... The resort grounds are incredible. Absolutely spotless, and everything you would want for a Maui vacation. The grass looks like a golf course. Ample pool-side seating (both pools) and a GREAT section of beach right in front of the property (you don't get that everywhere!) Snorkelers told me about fish and a sea turtle they saw regularly right off the resort beach. I fished right off the beach and the adjoining beach to the south and caught Coronet fish and Black tailed Snapper. There is about 1000 feet of beach to fish in the morning and evenings (YouTube: Hawaiian whipping fishing to see how to fish here). Our kids are all older, but I would say that this is a pretty safe "Kid-friendly" beach there there is plenty of safe area above even the high tide waterline to hang out and do sand and shallow water fun. There is a bar and restaurant (The Beach Club) right on the property. At times, resort restaurants are "just OK". Not this one. The food was some of the best we had. This is a large resort but we NEVER felt crowded. It is walking distance (2 blocks max.) to one of the great food truck parks that seem to be everywhere on the islands. You can eat there, or carry out because its so close to the resort, you can quickly take food or shave ice back to your rental. From the rental, it is three blocks to Hwy 30 which takes you to all kinds of shopping, dining, golf, you name it. Whalers Village has all kinds of dining and shopping as well as access to Black Rock Beach to see the "cliff divers". The property faces west looking at Moloka'i and Lana'i and gives you a breathtaking sunset every night. Bottom line, this is a 5-star rental, 5-star resort, and 5-star location. We wouldn't hesitate staying here again. Enjoy!

The unit is well furnished, full kitchen with everything you need to cook your meals at the condo. There’s a grocery store across the street and a food truck park that’s open at night.
The location is miles down the road from Front Street in Lahaina. The property has an on-site restaurant, two pools and an on-site day spa.
The unit itself has two bedrooms, a master bedroom and a second room with two single beds. The lanai opens up to a view of the grounds and one of the pools and has a partial view of the ocean. You’re steps away from the beach or the pools.
Overall, this is a great location to start off your adventures whether you’re driving to the summit of Mount Haleakala, going to Twin Falls or the road to Hana or going to the heliport for a helicopter tour. Highly recommend, would rent again.
Mr. Rubin the owner is super friendly and accommodating and provides information on local restaurants and other recommendations. He’s communicative and his staff was also helpful and friendly. We had an amazing week in Maui!

The location was fantastic and the Kaanapali Shores resort amenities were outstanding! Incredible view from the lanai. Condo was well appointed and owner was awesome to work with. Really great little reef to snorkel not even 100 yards from the door of the condo as well. Only drawback is that the condo is a little outdated and worn. Didn't bother us however as we didn't spend tons of time inside the unit (outside ofslieeping).

We had a wonderful week in Maui. The property is as described and in a convenient location - both within Maui (Kaanapali) and within the complex. We were close to both swimming pools with a view of the ocean from the balcony where we spent many mornings and evenings! We liked being in Kaanapali because we were within a very short drive to Napili & Kapalua as well as Lahaina. There’s a beach within 30 yards of the unit.
The owner had a lot of great info and made the process very easy - including details for a baby gear rental company who had everything we needed waiting for us when we got there.
The condo complex is right next to some food trucks which made for an easy meal after a long day of travel, and is across the street from a market to get supplies for the week as well as a couple of food spots. We tried Slappy Cakes and really liked the pancakes!
We would definitely stay here again, and hope to do so.

The resort was great! We usually stay at Marriott properties and I was a little nervous about renting privately, but this was perfect for a family that cannot all fit in one hotel room! It had the amenities of a hotel resort (restaurant, bar, pools, activities for kids, shops, cafe, etc), but was less crowded. It was very family-friendly. There was even a place on-site to book water excursions or rent equipment. The resort is a short drive to Whaler's Village.
The unit itself was clean and well-stocked. My only area for improvement would be to provide more kitchen towels (there were only 2- maybe I missed where they were stocked?). Robert was very responsive via email, beforehand. We did not need to contact him while we were there. I would definitely book here- with Robert- again.

I could write a chapter about how amazing our stay was here. The room was beautiful! Gorgeous views with large sliding doors to the lanai for bringing in the fresh Hawaiian air. Large windows in the bedroom to open up and fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing (I might have to get a sound machine to help me sleep with that sound) very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Extremely spacious with an awesome kitchen! All the cooking supplies you need. We wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately it was already reserved. The owners were so helpful in planning our trip with tips and updates. Definitely would LOVE to stay here again

Everything was as advertised and pictures provided. The welcome fruit bowl was much appreciated. Fortunately we did not have any problems, but you are definitely on your own when staying there. Assistance at the front desk is nice but firm that you are a guest of the owner and not them. We would definitely stay there again. On-site restaurant served very good food.

Aston Kaanapali Shores is ideally located. Grocery shopping is just across the street. A city bus stop is just in front of the resort.

The condo was nicely decorated and they had the tv’s set to Hawaiian music when you arrive. Really nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice pots/pans and appliances! Soap, coffee, filters, and paper towels! The lanai was huge with fantastic views. The master bed was a little worn but surprisingly comfortable! Close to the pool, beach access and stairs! The property is beautiful with fire pits, pools and spa! Great Location. We will definitely stay again!!

The property here has 2 pools, 1 of them really pretty, and the 2-bedroom condo is generally nice, though kitchen is small (and lacking in a few kitchen tools). The one thing that will keep us from coming back is that there is virtually no beach to spend time on. The ocean laps right up to the property. The view is lovely, but we had hoped for a beach. We drove a mile down the road to Kaanapali, instead, so that was fine. We also did not realize that gym use was an extra daily charge. This information should be on the listing (maybe it is and I missed it?). The gym was 1 reason we picked this condo over others. Overall, a good stay.

The property and condo were great for our family, it was my wife, my daughter, myself and our two year old grandson. Both the beach and the pool (it's great for kids) are just a few minutes walk. We cooked in a fair amount (sometimes tough to dine out with a two year old) and really appreciated the kitchen being well equipped. The listing is very accurate.

The pictures accurately depict the unit except for the view from the balcony. The ocean view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful and cannot be appreciated in photos alone. Kaanapali Beach is our favorite location and Kaanapali Shores Resorts is our go-to. We would not hesitate to recommend this unit and hope to be back again soon.

We had an amazing time. You can’t beat the location. The property was just as described with amazing views of the ocean and a great location by the pools and activity hut. They provided all of the necessities including dishes, pots and pans, and enough laundry and paper supplies to get you through until you shopped. The boogie board and beach chairs were an added bonus. Rob and his team were extremely responsive and attentive. We’d be happy to come back again!

I would recommend this condo to anyone! Great location! Resort grounds are well maintained with two excellent pools and hot tubs. The pool bar and restaurant are very nice,-never wanted for a cold drink, as the roaming waiters made sure our glasses were never empty! Easy walk to everything you would need during your stay.

Every thing about our stay was excellent! Owner communicated via email very quickly and well. Him and his wife even provided a great tips sheet for us and recommended rental places for baby gear that we used and loved. It was an easy check-in and check-out (no process, just needed an access code). Very clean unit with fully loaded kitchen. A/C worked great. Bathtub in one bathroom was great for bathing little ones. All carpets were clean. Balcony was large enough for 4 adults to sit comfortably, and has a great view of the ocean and pool. We spent a lot of time on the balcony! The beds were comfortable (but we didn’t try the pullout sofa) and clean. Lots of pillows, towels, etc. GREAT STAY!

Process to rent this condo was super easy. Condo was exactly as presented in pictures. Unit was immaculate upon our check in. Extra amenities such as laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet tissue and shampoo to get your visit started were a nice added touch, as were the Macadamia Nut Box of Chocolates. Grounds were very well kept and quiet. Would highly recommend this condo to a family or couples.
