Absolutely beautiful place to stay...good location and in a guarded neighborhood that made you feel safe. The pool was absolutely amazing!!! The flowers and the folage was beautiful. Just a nice relaxing stay. We never even turned the tvs on, mostly sat outside and enjoyed the pool and the amazing sunsets, every night.

We stayed at this home in Kona for 7 nights, and unfortunately, it was a very uncomfortable experience for my family and me. Every night, we had to deal with gnats, bugs, flies, and mosquitoes throughout the house, especially in the evenings. We all ended up with numerous mosquito bites, whether we were on the balcony, by the pool, or even inside the house. We have vacuumed every day to get rid of these dying gnats. One of the biggest issues was the lack of air conditioning. During the hot days, we had no choice but to open the sliding doors to let in some breeze, but that only made the bug problem worse. The house is not well-sealed, and we were constantly battling flies and mosquitoes. The home is minimally stocked with only the most basic essentials. The personal care items provided were of very low quality—shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were unscented and felt cheap. We also couldn't find common household items like disinfecting wipes or plastic wrap for food. The kitchen supplies were outdated, and all the knives were old and scratched. This was our first visit to Hawaii, and unfortunately, no AC really impacted our enjoyment. Some days we were out exploring, and coming back to a hot, stuffy house with no relief was exhausting, especially for the kids.If you're planning to stay in this area, I strongly recommend choosing a place with air conditioning. It can make a huge difference in your comfort and overall vacation experience.

Property is well setup and good for a large group. The open kitchen and sitting room is nice. Neighborhood is safe and good for walking. Parking in the garage is tight but manageable. Views from the pool with sunsets is a plus. Great restaurant and grocery store within a mile. Drive to Kailua-Kona is 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Truly a great place.

It was a beautiful relaxing place to land after a day of experiencing the island.

We visit the island often and stay in Keauhou Estates often. First time for this house, it was very comfortable for our family to spread out and enjoy some Aloha. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Yes, we saw a few tiny ants, yes it was warm on the arrival night because it was closed up. However, the overall stay was great. Only down side is there is always someone doing work on the property or property nearby. Starts at 8 am on most days. Blowers and trimmers are a little too constant but, understandably out of the managers control.

Overall this was a beautiful home in a great location. We had a great view of the new years fireworks in Kona and amazing sunsets every evening. What caught us off guard was the fact that this place had no A/C Which wasn’t a big deal because the time of the year that we were there but I can only imagine what it would get like in the summer months . Overall I would highly recommend this place.

Really lovely home & neighborhood. My family had a nice time. The house is well stocked with everything needed for a stay - great amenities like the BBQ and pool/beach toys. Super quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds.
There are some things to be aware of before booking - there's no AC, and it's not clear in the listing which was a huge bummer for us. It was HOT the week we stayed. There were fans in every bedroom which helped. The pool is lovely, but the tile around it is very slippery when wet (which is like all the time due to rain and wet feet). They need to add some texture out there to make it safe - almost everyone fell at least once near the pool.

House was infested with ants. Left shortly after arriving for a hotel. Kona coast could not find us another house to stay in.

Wonderful home, many areas to relax, keep in mind no A/C at this home so the afternoons/evenings were warm during our stay. The view to the ocean was so very nice at sunset especially. Everything we needed was available from beach gear, fans to keep the house a little cooler and everything was in very good condition from furniture to decor.

This home was nicely furnished and very comfortable for our family of five. The front patio area was great especially with afternoon showers as you could be outside with the large roof covering. The pool was nice but not heated and in the shade except mid-afternoon, although we were there in November. It was warm enough to swim though, and the grandkids were in it every day. There were plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and pool floats. The location was good, just a few minutes to Kona, beaches and shopping. The ocean view was really lovely and we had some nice sunsets. Kona Coast checked in with us to make sure all was ok on arrival, and was available if we needed anything. We would definitely stay here again when we are back in Kona.

We just completed our stay and it was amazing! The weather didn’t cooperate as much as we’d liked, but we still had plenty of good times relaxing at this home!
Stellar views and quite a well appointed kitchen, along with some very chatty birds (and frogs that sound like birds, amazingly enough!)
We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

The location is perfect! Quiet but close to everything. The house and outdoor space were very comfortable and there are several areas to sit and relax. The pool and landscaping are beautiful. We saw a lot of birds and butterflies. I love staying in this neighborhood!

Just spent an incredible 10 days at this stunning property. The home was clean and well equipped. The show stopper is the landscaping and pool, it is truly beautiful. It is so convenient with little ones to have a private pool to relax in for the mornings and then afternoons at the beach.
The location is perfect, very close to beaches and grocery stores and is in a secure and quiet gated community.
Highly recommend this beautiful home and Kona as a location for a relaxing and fun family holiday.

July 2022
This was the best family vacation. The place was just as described. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable, views were amazing and great beaches within a 5-10 min drive. The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking--high quality pans, rice cooker, instant pot, blender, coffee maker with metal filter and had filters, french press plus all of the small kitchen tools you might need. Grill was awesome. The garage had tons of rafts, chairs, umbrellas and a cooler with frozen water bottles which we used most days. The layout was great. One person complained of insects and that seems odd since it is Hawaii. We did have a battle with two centipedes (venomous) which was unnerving as they are MASSIVE and very toxic but no one was touched--DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING on the floor! Good lesson for our teenagers.
We will most definitely come back.

July 2022
Our 11-night stay was mixed. We appreciated the gated community and gorgeous ocean views. The house had basic essentials in the kitchen pantry which was nice.
The good:
-spacious home with lots of privacy
-beautiful backyard with ocean view & beautiful sunsets
-boogie boards, beach towels, cooler, pool floated, and 2 beach chairs (chairs were old & latches that kept them closed were broken so they were awkward to carry to the beach)
The not so good:
- Lacked air conditioning. We stayed from end of June to early July and the house was always HOT. There were no trade winds & despite opening windows & using box fans provided, we were pretty miserable.
- Upon arrival, the solar pool was 96 degrees so we couldn’t even find relief from the heat in the pool. We managed to turn off the solar on the 2nd day but the pool was still in the high 80s on our last day. The pool thermostat wasn’t working.
- The gnats we’re a huge problem. Despite closing doors & screens, they still got in the home & were in the hundreds in our bedroom & bathroom. Every night I was battling them.
- The homeowner next door to us we’re having their pool resurfaced during our stay so we had to deal with the noise of construction workers most days. We couldn’t enjoy the backyard the day of the pour & despite notifying Kona Coast Mgmt of the noise inconvenience, they declined any form of credit of our stay. In the spirit of good PR, and the fact we spent over $7,000 on our stay, I was disappointed to say the least.
-The first time I called Kona Coast Mgmt with the noise complaint, the rep said she would report to her manager & have someone call me back. Over 3 hours later, no return call. I called again & person who answered said there was no record of my first call so I had to explain the problem all over again. Again, person said they’d have a manager call me back. All I ended up receiving is a form email response that according to the contract, I was out of luck.
Had I been aware of the construction during our stay, I would’ve booked elsewhere.

Spacious , well equipped, the perfect family hacienda in a luxurious controlled estate. It’s less then half a mile from a major shopping area with an incredible grocery store. Insects? It’s Hawaii, what do you think the birds and geckos eat. We look foreword to returning.

The home was well-appointed and we loved the floor plan. Pretty good privacy for 2 couples. Couldn't get over the view. Overlooking Kailua-Kona and the ocean. Great sunsets! During our stay we had warm days and mostly cool nights.
We were very impressed with management company. They were very helpful and responsive.
It was nice having a medium size grocery store less than a 10 minute drive away and we enjoyed meals at nearby the Tropics restaurant.
We didn't want to leave and we can't wait to come back.

Overall, we loved the house and neighborhood. The house was very clean and beautiful. The only issue we had was there was no disclosure that this house had no air conditioner. Of course, the house was all closed up when we got here so it was very warm. We literally opened all the sliding doors and windows and got great cross ventilation. Management brought us some fans and we were very comfortable. The initial shock was unfortunate but, in the end, all was good. Great house, full size washer/dryer, we’ll appointed kitchen, grill on lanai. Would come back in a heart beat.

My stay at this very nice house was amazing. I love the open concept kitchen, the master suite was great and having a private pool was a plus. Also, the view from the pool is wonderful, watching the sunset from there was the best. My family and I loved it here and hope to visit again.
July 2021
Lovely home overall, furnished well, and the location was perfect l. Appreciated the amenities provided but the lack of AC made the first three days rough. To the point that we went back to mainland a day early.
Even with the fans on and doors open the place was stuffy. I was hoping the fans would be enough… they were not.
Also normalizing the pest. The welcome book outlined that some of these pest are normal. Geckos I understand, I understand that you can have rodents if your not clean but having German roaches. I’m from the east coast get an exterminator and gnats Amazon literally sells items to help with gnats and I probably wouldn’t have had so many gnats if I didn’t have to keep all the doors open to get some airflow at night.

It was everything we hoped for and a perfect view great pool. Bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. I was worried about the no A/C but the fans were enough. The kitchen and grill which we used for all but one meal for the week. Grocery and other shopping was less than a mile. The garage was really a nice treat, kept the car cool and dry. All 4 of us agreed it was perfect. Very clean and easy to keep clean. Thank you
