This place was absolutely amazing! Great water pressure and shower temperature. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, loved the view especially with sunset. If I ever go back to Hawaii and this place is available I will definitely stay there again.Only had one issue and that was just because my reading comprehension isn't great apparently and the owner got back to me very quickly and was able to help

This place is a must if staying in Maui! Beautiful stay and supplies all we expected it to we will stay here again if we come back.. the host was always available no matter the time as we got in late the 1st night and had a question and was answered immediately The beach was right across the street s and had access to all of our beach fun needs, including volleyball!

It was great for the price. The location was awesome! Just be aware that it is a super small condo, needs updating, and really for 2 people. I loved the shower pressure and the bed was actually very comfortable. Not many shower towels and wash cloths was provided and you definitely need to bring a big skillet to cook with.

What a great find for my family. What you see is what you get and what a great view to have coffee in the morning. It’s in great walking distance to many shops, restaurants and food trucks. If I’m ever back I would definitely try and stay in this unit again-

We loved staying here for our girls’ trip in Kihei. Everything we needed was provided: beach towels, chairs, boogie boards. We enjoyed walking to the beach, grocery, and the food trucks. The patio and pool were also fantastic. Thank you!

The location is across from a park and the ocean. Watch sunsets every night. Close to amenities and shops. The pool at the complex is so nice to cool off in. Beach chairs and an umbrella are great for the beach. The place was clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. We will look for this place again next visit!

Despite outdated appliances, this place is all about location! I stayed her a month and it is the most convenient place. You can walk everywhere including the nearby Foodland. Steps from the parks, beaches, plenty of restaurants and shops. One note of caution, the listing says it sleeps up to 6 but the pull out couch was broken on arrival. There are 2 comfortable queen beds but the pull out should probably be looked at! Although appliances are outdated, they are all in working condition.

My friend and I were visiting in Kihei and I am glad I chose this particular property. It’s walking distance to everything that you need, fully stocked with most amenities that you would need, has AC units in both rooms a great view of the ocean from the patio right outside of the pool. complex is small, but I actually liked that quality. Having a washer and dryer, and then unit made a huge difference! I would definitely stay here again!

We were able to get a booking after being displaced due to the Lahaina Fire. After we found out we are homeless, the host has been very gracious and has let us linger longer.

We found a small white baggie with white powder on the bedroom floor.
Dishes had goop stuck on them in the cupboard.
We killed a cockroach in the dining area while we were eating.
The tile and floors were dirty. I wouldn’t even shower. The toilet wouldn’t stop running.
Glad we only stayed one night and we should at least be refunded the cleaning deposit.

We flew in on a Friday and couldn’t check in to the resort until Saturday. We booked here for two couples.
Check in was easy, we turned on the a/c to cool the unit down. The tv in the second bedroom my brother in law couldn’t get to work. We did enjoy the pool that evening and the sunset across the street at the park. Later that night we spotted a mouse in the kitchen area. Overall it served its purpose for us but I’m not sure if I would stay multiple days at this location.

There are several wonderful things about this property. The location and view are amazing, we saw whales almost every morning but of course we were there when the whales were. There are 2 bathrooms and two bedrooms which was a major plus for our stay as there were two couples that went. All of the amenities I look for in a rental plus some were here, the host goes above and beyond to make sure everything is available to you. There were beach towels so you do not have to lug them around in your luggage and take up valuable space, there was a small cooler, grill, TV in each of the bedrooms, beach chairs, and a fabulous coffee pot. There were plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. The beds were comfortable and the space was big enough for 4 adults to be in there without feeling crowded. The beach was across the street and the condo itself was pretty sound proof. Sure, the rental was a bit dated, but who cares?!? If you're in Hawaii and planning on sticking in the rental house all day, then maybe you might want to find something else. However, if you're using it to crash, cook on occasion, wake up with stunning views and drink your coffee outside on the patio to watch the sun come up, or take a dip in the pool after a long day, than look no further. It was easy to access and just a general all around great place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The condo is on the cozy side for 4 or more adults yet the location is superb and having parking is grand although the entrance and exit to the lot is narrow. The pool is steps from the back door and the condo is close to the market and food and bars and beaches. The beds are definitely soft; the water pressure is solid.

First thing we noticed was the left over sand on the barstool from the previous guest's as well as dusty counter tops and dirty floor...I suppose the cleaning crew didn't do a final walk through. The next thing we noticed was the smell coming from the ac units in both bedrooms...upon further inspection we could see the dirt build up inside the vents...not sure if it was black mold or just the unkempt dirt buildup overtime. The only plus to this unit was its close proximity to everything. The kids loved that the pool was footsteps away. We give this unit a 3 star rating only because of the view and close proximity otherwise it would have been a 2 star.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location during our 9 days in Kihei. Host was nice to let us have an early check in. Condo was as expected; it was clean and nicely stocked with all you need. Great to have beach chairs to grab and cross the street with my coffee and book. Teenagers enjoyed close proximity to many stores in area. There is a beach musty smell when you walk in and recommend a wall plug in freshener to help. Washer and dryer in unit was super helpful but washer Is noisy so wouldn’t recommend laundry at night. Highly recommend this place - great value and would definitely stay again when in Kihei.

We were very pleased and felt right at home in this apartment. It was as if a relative or good friend offered it to us for a week. Super host Jennifer responded quickly to any inquiries and provided directions and arrival information. The apartment is beautifully decorated with a Hawaiian ambiance throughout. Everything you need for the beach is provided including beach chairs, mats, umbrella, cooler and kid's toys. And I would suggest perusing Maui Revealed which you'll find on the table in the living room. Each morning I would have breakfast outside on the patio and enjoy the view of the ocean and surfers across the road. There are shops, restaurants and plenty of beautiful beaches nearby. The outdoor pineapple lights mark the entrance to the driveway where parking is provided. This was a great deal.

Several appliances need attention fridge freezes food and no apparent controls. Water and ice dispenser doesn’t work. Ice cube trays provided.
Washer and dryer are extremely noisy

Access to pool was close and well kept. Beach toys, chairs., towels and cooler provided was a plus. Very Hawaiiana decor. Beds comfortable. Definitely could use some updates but was comfortable.

The property had a good location but needs some tender loving care. There is quite a bit of wear, and things didn’t seem finished. No baseboards and needs paint in some areas. One of the closet doors was broken. The remote to the tv was very difficult to make it work. There was a mold problem in one of the closets. We only stayed one night but for an extended stay it would need some attention.

Easy check-in process. Beautiful locale with lots of local flavor. Walkable neighborhood. House is NOT baby proof and we spent a lot of time keeping the baby away from the AC units and exposed electrical outlets. The older kid LOVED the pool and it was really nice for her to swim nonstop. Would have liked to stay longer and take advantage of the surf school next door.

The property was in the best location. Only walking distance from several beaches, stores, and a beautiful park. The outdoor space was great to have with kids because we were able to cook dinner and watch as they swam in the pool. The condo itself was older and on the small side. The A/C units were very loud and a little confusing to operate. The couches were very uncomfortable and a little dirty. The bedrooms were tight, but fine to be shared by two people. One shower was kind of dirty looking, but after seeing the amount of sand we brought back, it was likely sand that just couldn’t be cleaned out. Overall, it is a good location to sleep after a long day at the beach.

I liked that it was right across the street from the beach. I didn’t like that the appliances needs to be upgraded. The coffee maker didn’t look clean. The washing machine had mold in it and smelled. The shower looked dirty. The living room area didn’t have curtains for privacy.

We live on the other side of the island. We were in kihei having a celebration of life for a loved one and needed a place to run to for a shower, a quick nap, shelter from the heat etc. We found your place and loved it. The location is perfect! The a.c. throughout the house cools it down on these muggy fall days. Washer and dryer made it easy to prepare for the many parties we had over the weekend. Lots of clothes changes. The view is amazing.. everything is in walking distance.. The place feels like home. The only downfall was the parking. The entrance into the complex is very narrow..VERY narrow. And no guest parking but no problem because lots of parking along the beach road right in front of property. Love our time here.

Conveniently located to beach and stores, easy, free off street parking. No sound issues and liked the air conditioning. TV station selections are limited.

This condo was very close to a park and a beach where there were surf and paddleboard lessons. The condo was clean and as it looked in the pictures. It was a bit old compared to where we stayed in Lahaina the previous week. The only issue we had was the main bathroom shower was a bit old looking and small, but we all just used the second bathroom in the bedroom to shower. There is a washer and dryer, and full size kitchen appliances. There were several boogie boards which we used. The pool was right outside our door which we used several times a day. The lady that takes care of the property was friendly and talkative. There were several restaurants and local eateries nearby that were not very expensive but delicious. It is a good base if you are driving around the island as well, it seemed to be a central location. If you don't rent a car, the area is quite walkable to beaches. We were there over fourth of July and bought fireworks at the grocery store and went to a certain park where many locals set off their fireworks so we enjoyed many light shows. At no time did we feel the beaches or parks were crowded. There were some homeless people who looked like they slept each night in the park but at no time did we feel unsafe. Very peaceful and low key.

This was our second stay at this condo and it was just as good as last time! Everything is close and "walkable", the Foodland store, the ABC store, many different restaurants and bars and especially the BEACH. There is a nice park right across the street for walking or running and always lots of people on paddle boards or kayaks to watch. This year we saw breaching whales from the condo!! Yes, they were out away from shore, but you could see them without binoculars! We used the boogie board and the back pack beach chairs from the condo almost daily...there are some other beach items available, but we didn't need them. The pool at the condo is nice and used by many this year, but we prefer the beach.
If you have a rental car, be sure to go to the north shore and watch the wind surfers and kite surfers. They are amazing and the waves there are MUCH bigger than at the beaches on south or west Maui. We also made it to the "Dragon's Teeth" in Kapalua and Nakalele Bolwhole, further north, this year. Both were great places to visit but be ready for some walking and climbing to see them up close.
The property manager is very easy to work with and quick to help if a problem arises.
If you are looking for a nice, clean, comfortable condo in a great location, this is it!!!! I hope to return very soon!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. When we first walked in it seemed a bit small and older, but it didn't take long for it to feel like a home. Great location for grabbing a surfboard or going shopping or out for a quick bite. It was very nice to walk out from the lanai in the morning to look at the surf. It was easy to get a hold of the landlord when we needed her as she lives in the building. Cons: not much cupboard space if you want to load up on groceries, however there is a dishwasher.

The location is as described. It is very well equipped and convenient. There is direct access to the pool.
The location is perfect : close to the beach (5min walk), to lot of restaurants, to a supermarket.
And a very nice Sunset every day with coconut from the terrasse. There were also books for all the family. (My little girls really enjoyed)
Points to improve :
- communication : we only knew the address 3 days before departure : stressful
- the barbecue was so dirty that we couldn't use it
- the bath had no plug and we couldn't use it as shower because the power jet was too strong : it hurt

This condo was more than we hoped for! The location is ideal, as it is directly across from the beach and surf park, right next to the surf/paddleboard rental shop, and within walking distance of grocery stores, farmer's markets, Starbucks, restaurants, and shopping! Watching the sunset from the lanai as we ate dinner was wonderful, and having the pool right out the door made for a nice change from the beach when we needed a break from the sand. The condo itself was clean and functional. The leather couch in the picture wasn't there anymore; however, it had been replaced with a reclining loveseat that matched the other one in the pictures. Everything necessary (and more) was provided by the owner. The only thing missing was a pitcher to mix our OJ in :)
We felt that the screen that pulls down over the large patio door provided enough privacy, especially as there is a hedge between the condos and the road to prevent people from just looking across the lawn into the condo.
Overall, this was the perfect place for my family to stay, and if it's available for our next trip we will definitely be staying here again!

great convenient location to walk or bike anywhere in Kihei. This is a very clean and sufficiently stocked condo for most any occasion. The owners were also very responsive and accessible when I needed them on a couple occasion during my stay. It is not ultra modern like some places you might see, buy it is very clean, comfortable and convenient. I would definitely stay there again should the occasion arise.

When they say the location here is good....it is the BEST!!! Couldn't have asked for a better place. The condo is CLEAN, comfortable, very nice (pictures are just what you have!!) and did I mention the location??? We walked to the Foodland store, to restaurants, to the beach, only got in the car to go on "trips". The sunsets from the condo are beautiful. You walk to the edge of the property and get the best sunset pictures (the edge of the property gets rid of the overhead wires for photos). The park across the street is great for morning walks. The beach across the street is rocky, but Kama'ole Beach I is only a couple blocks and a great sandy beach without rocks. The condo has all kinds of beach gear which was nice. The back pack chairs made walking to the beach a breeze. If I had one request for something else in the condo it would be for smaller spoons to eat cereal and icecream...but I was in Hawaii, so I really didn't care how big the spoons were!!!! This was a great condo in a great location!!!!

Everything is in walking distance from this place. You can rent surf stuff next store. Complex has a pool and is really across the street from the beach. No big waves. we will be back
