The Villa is situated on a premium lot overlooking Moloa'a Bay. The view is exceptional and access to the beach is amazing. The house was very clean and comfortable, although a few more cushioned chairs on the lanai would be great. There were a few blips with appliances but Angela with ReMax was very efficient and helpful. We had no issues with insects, etc. and were all pleased with the comfort of the beds. The kitchen served its purpose for our family of six. But the location is the real draw. We visited other beaches but always ready to come "home" to Mola'a Bay beach!!!!

What an amazing spot on the planet! This bay has it all: tide pools, sea life (sea turtles pull out on the beach), hikes up to the point, spirited swimming (at low tide for good swimmers only in Winter), and a large, quiet and private property with a beautiful shady beach front and exceptional views. There is a guest house on the property that is also rented but it's set well apart (if you got both you could host a large group very well).
The layout was comfortable for our 4 kids (two each per room using the trundle pullout). The kitchen is very well-appointed and in the perfect location.
The only thing we wished for is a bit more space at the outdoor table on the lanai so we could all dine together outside. It is an older home, but everything works well and there have clearly been updates to the appliances and furnishings. The teak railing around the lanai is the nicest work I've seen!
In terms of location, it's well situated on the North shore on a very quiet bay down small one-lane style roads. So not many people know about (but locals do: quite a few were fishing on New Years day made for great conversations). Great restaurants and stores within 15min drive, and good access to Hanalei and the rest of the north shore. Would absolutely return.

The location for this property is perfect - nice beach just steps away, but the owner is relying on the location and neglecting the house itself. The house is in need of some major TLC. For the price, one would not expect knobs falling off cupboards, a jet engine AC above the great room, or an inoperable stove/oven. There were so many things wrong with this house, we developed a punch list to provide to the agent and owner. The oven/stove has been inoperable since July and they keep stating they are waiting on a part or qualified people to install it. We had to do all our cooking on provided propane burners. When one is paying a premium for luxury accomodations, one expects these things to work. We had plumbers and electricians out to the house to put temporary fixes on things (they never returned to fix them properly). We were there for 2 weeks and there was ample time to address these issues. The house is really in need of a refresh.

This how was our little piece of heaven for the last week. The beach is steps away and we had ideal weather so it was perfect for all of us to snorkel. It’s the type of home and beach you never want to leave. The house had incredible views and it was very private. Our kids played in the open floor plan and on the outdoor patio. It was easy to keep track of everyone. The kitchen was great for a large family cooking all together. We are already trying to plan when we could come back.

The house is in an amazing location on a quieter bay. There were usually more local fisherman than beach goers. It looked to be a good spot for catching Scad as there would be a dozen or more fisherman clustered pulling them in throughout the day. The house is well equipped and has an amazing bay view. The wrap around lanai and sand room were great. The yard was spacious, well maintained, and great for the keikis. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We received a heads up ahead of time that the oven was out and a repair person would be coming during our stay. They provided butane burners and plenty of butane refills so It wasn’t a problem. Property management communicated well for the repair visit. We did have a rodent get into our food in the pantry so the broken oven became the food storage. We found later the rodent was a rat which woke us up in the night as it clumsily thumped around in the closest. We chased it to its hidey hole and notified management who said it would be taken care of. Overall a wonderful place and we’ll be retuning hopefully sooner than later.

The house is nicer than we expected because they've updated some of the furniture but not the pictures. Very comfortable. You essentially have a private/semi private beach, there is public access to the beach but parking is so limited just a few locals show up to fish. One day we had a pair of endangered Monk Seals in the Bay. Swimming and snorkeling was great. There is a nature trail at the northwest corner of the bay. I'm sure we will rent this home again. It is secluded. Excellent communication from the property manager.

The property is beautiful and better than described. But, beware of the property management company since they do not prepare the property well upon arrival and are pretty much non-responsive. they also ask the tenant to do many chores that are the responsibility of the management company.

The home was incredible from the time you walk into the front door and have the view across the entire back of Moloa'a Bay. The large open kitchen gathering area created an atmosphere of togetherness. It was also very nice to have A/C at night - a big plus in August. The bay is beautiful. Crescent beach with a reef protected calm side to the right and waves in the middle. i snorkeled by the reef and we all did some boogie boarding in the waves. The house is absolutely gorgeous and located such that we could get the the north shore and south shores quickly.

We loved the layout of the house and its proximity to the beach. It met with nearly all my expectations: it was spacious and comfortable for our family of 10 including four small children; the ocean was always calm in the rocky pools at the end of the beach and often was calm enough for paddle boarding. The kitchen and laundry are spacious and well equipped. One drawback is that the cell phone signal does not reach the house (although there is wifi).

If you like the sound of waves, the feel of the trade winds and easy proximity to the beach, this property is for you! This spacious house on stilts along the beach. The view is outstanding and the beach is fairly private. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked with the basics. The only negatives were that the 2 of the 4 screen doors to the deck were difficult to open/close and some of the kitchen drawers did not open easily - some maintenance would solve these issues. The refrigerator was huge and the full-house zoned satellite radio system was a nice bonus!

Very peacfull , 5 out of seven days the weather was perfect with the windows open to that tropical breeze . The kids loved the beech the parents loved the openness of the house and beautiful yard . Princeville a short but beautiful drive but there were farms stands and country markets if you didn’t want to go far. The home had more than we could ask for and will definitely do this again.

We enjoyed our stay here, the home is beautiful, well kept and the view is amazing!! The beach is clean and secluded. Two challenges, there are two access codes for both entry doors. I had received one prior to arrival. I called and the owner quickly helped us gain access to the house. The second, we arrived at night and it is very dark and we couldn’t see the address on the front gate. However the directions the owner provided were helpful and I was glad I took a picture of them on my phone as there is no WiFi once you are off the main road ( there is WiFi in the house). We would definitely stay here again.

We spent 5 spectacular nights hidden away here in what felt like our own little private piece of Kauai. This gorgeous home exceeded all expectations from the moment we arrived. Entering the property through a private gate, stepping inside with immediate breathtaking view, already beckoning you to the outdoors to take in the tropical view and waves. Our group of 8 comfortably spread out and gathered during our stay. The bedrooms are great size and made staying here easy. The kitchen was well equipped as were linens and even beach towels. Loved having washer and dryer right off the kitchen. Wonderful deck space to to just sit and relax. You can hear the sounds of waves crashing even with doors shut, that lull you to sleep. The beach just steps through your yard was just amazing. We woke to gorgeous sunrises daily and even had visits from rare monk seals playing in the sea! We loved this special place and it was hard to leave. The only improvement we suggest is that the trundle bed in the smaller of 3 bedrooms needs a proper mattress. It is a foam pad which would work for toddler but not a teen. The air mattress also did no hold air and slowly deflated through night so needs replaced. Minor details considering it was such a spectacular home and location!! Also, there is another home on the property that we had another family joining us rent which was just perfect to be able to share this magical location together! We highly recommend it and look forward to a return trip!
