We loved our “home away from home” for our 2 weeks on Kaua'i. This H9 unit is in a great location for so many beaches, and also close to grocery stores and other shops; and the towns of Hanalei and Kilauea are close too. Princeville is not as central to the island, so if you want to see the Waimea Canyon area, it's a 2-hour trip each way - but that's just the nature of the location.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is no air conditioning. This wasn't a huge deal, but even in November's cooler temperatures, some our sleep was affected because our bedroom didn't get below 75 degrees or so, and so we often slept under a sheet or with the light bedspread. Also, for those who have difficulty with stairs, the amazing views also means you'll need to climb to this 3rd-floor condo. Not a problem for us, but might be for some.

Almost everything was wonderful—the views, the lanai, the huge walk in shower! The only thing that could be improved is the bed. I found it to firm, and the bedframe was too long for the mattress so we stubbed out toes and hit our shins several times. We loved our stay and will return to this rental in the future!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this quaint little condo in a quiet neighborhood. We chose it specifically for the view and we were not disappointed! The furnishings and kitchen are basic but met all our needs. The beach chairs and cooler were so appreciated. The grounds were lovely and we were right down the street from the golf course, shopping, and beaches. The hike to the private beach was a bit more than we expected but very worth it! Bring trail shoes. My only concerns to the owner: the hole in the wooden lanai was worrisome. Additionally, pictures do not show that there is now a large patio table and 4 chairs on the small lanai and you can't see the view or move around when you sit there. All that is needed are two chairs and small side table for beverages. Also, the cheap, plastic handled camping silverware was very hard to use for a week. There were also only 4 forks/knives/spoons (the others so tiny they were for a baby) so I was constantly having to wash silverware. Please provide decent silverware! Other than those small things, our stay was wonderful and we hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful time at our stay in Princeville. The property was perfect for my husband and I. Roosters woke us up each morning at sunrise where we took the view in for a moment, closed the windows and quickly went back to sleep. The pictures do not do the view justice.
One thing to note - the property does not have AC. Not a huge deal because the house gets a great breeze but for a pregnant person in the middle of summer, I should have opted for AC.
The bedroom curtains and box spring protector did a minor mold issue. The Arrived team was very receptive to the feedback, assured me they would fix it and compensated us fairly. I really appreciated the customer service.
The cooler and huge ice pack were a major bonus to the property. We were able to leave for the day knowing we could pack lunches, stow left overs, etc without having to return home. We likely won’t travel without a cooler again after being so spoiled by it :)
The snorkel gear was a great addition. One of the masks was broken but my husband was able to rig it back together with a water bottle label - thank goodness for engineers!
Bottom line, we would definitely stay here again. It was bliss.

Condo was well stocked. Amazing views and great location. Bathroom was nice and open and newly remodeled. Furniture was set up kind of odd and bed was harder than we are used to like really hard. Would absolutely stay here again.

Overall I’m happy with my stay here. I gave a 3 for check in because they never sent me check in instructions beforehand so I had to connect with someone from VRBO to receive the code to get in. Then at 2 am they emailed the instructions after I managed to get in. The process was smooth and the response was quick, but always feels like a hassle when you can’t get in. I’d check to make sure you receive them before your stay.

Would have loved to spent more days there.
Arriving after dark was a little tricky. Went past “Sealodge II” H9. looking for Sealodge_H9
Did not wake anyone else up and did figure it out. It’s really called Sealodge II.
Note :There were only two 16 oz glasses left, I broke one doing the dishes in the sink. There are plenty of cups and 10oz glasses. We used our own coffee mugs.

First time to Kauai after absolutely loving first trip to Maui. Highly recommend this location for couples as its on the North end and extremely quiet and void of tourist mania. Tourist mania can be found on the south end of the island where all the major resorts and hotels are. Keep in mind, its less than an hour to access almost any part of the island. Another plus of this property is close proximity to great food options - great food that also delivers solid price - value. Less than 10 minutes away are several restaurant options. Highly recommend Calypso for lunch, dinner or Happy Hour and the bread company. This unit was absolutely as advertised and was clean and comfortable with nice view of the ocean. The only thing I would recommend is to fix the lock on front door. Much enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

I would just not give this a full 5 stars due to the fact that the internet is very slow and there should be instructions on how to work the various channels and apps on the TV. Other than that is was great!

The property was nice…views were beautiful and the condo was well equipped. It was close to hanalei which was convenient. The buildings were a little confusing with the way they were laid out. We we’re disappointed that there was no air conditioning which made it uncomfortable to sleep in July due o the humidity

This condo has gorgeous views out front (ocean) and back (mountains). It is the only condo on the third floor, so very private and quiet. The shower is huge with more than enough towels, soap and shampoo. We watched whales cavort for more than an hour from the condo and wonderful walking right out the door. New beach chairs, towels and umbrella provided. Kitchen had everything we needed and more.

The location on the cliffs is the best part. The ocean breeze kept things cool even without AC. Nicely remodeled unit for this complex. Don't miss the walk down to Sealodge Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Sealodge H9. The view was spectacular and the unit met our needs. It's nicely furnished. We all agreed that we would stay here again, and we'd bring less with us... the third level is a bit tough lugging suitcases up and then down. There is a washer so we did laundry often. Thank you.

Everything was perfect for our stay. It was in a walking distance to the beach and shopping. The apartment was immaculately clean and well appointed with everything we need it. The grounds were also very clean and well cared for. I highly recommend this location.

While the apartment is pretty basic, it covers most needs. The view - sea out the patio & bedroom and mountain out the window - is spectacular. Bring your own chef's knife if you plan to carve a fresh pineapple! Convenient to Hanalei area beaches, shops and restaurants. Don't miss the hiking path down to the hidden beach from the condo.

We would have given Sealodge H9 a 5-Star rating, but there are a few minor fixes that are needed. The large sliding window in the living room was stuck and would not open. Maintenance came, sprayed it with lubricant, and got it to open. It would be helpful to have blinds or curtains in the kitchen window. The sun is blinding when preparing dinner, which we did every evening. The screen covering the louvered window next to the entry door is twisted and allows bugs in. Two dinette table legs need felt pads to level the table. Otherwise, the unit is wonderful - great views, quiet, fabulous bathroom, and plenty of room for two! We'll be booking it on our next trip!!

Property is as described. The view is what drew me in and did not disappoint. The coral bay below is beautiful. The shower is amazing. Neighborhood is nice and well kept as it is basically on a golf course. The trail down to the private beach was great. Being on the 3rd floor, the steps were a little much at times. and I hope you like nature as we were visited by a couple gecko's during our stay. I might suggest using a smaller table on the balcony as it was pretty tight out there. Also would suggest upgrading the couch. After long days of hiking it would be nice to wind down on something comfortable. Not this couch/futon. And while you're at it, upgrade your pillows. Guests like to have options.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The view from every window was spectacular, better than I even expected. The complex was very quiet while we were there. We often took the trail down to Sea Lodge Beach which was so very relaxing and the snorkeling was great! Sometimes we even had the whole beach to ourselves! We will definitely be back!

H9 is the "penthouse"... the view of this place is amazing. Just breathtaking. The sun rises right in your bedroom and you're close to everything. I would recommand this place to anyone.

Great view, close to Hanalei, luxurious shower. The property and neighborhood are upscale and well maintained. The accommodations were clean. The devil was in the details. The supply closet is half accessible, one fan did not work prompting communication so that we were not assessed any cost. The fan was not replaced and would have been nice. The advertised secluded beach is very accurate due to the a beach trail being, according to the local with whom we spoke after trying to follow the trail, dangerous and not worth the trek. Rest assured though that there are plenty of other beaches and adventures nearby that we greatly enjoyed.

For the most part out stay here was fine, HOWEVER we did have a pest issue. There were cockroaches on our floors and ceilings almost our entire stay. I understand seeing pests outside in some areas, but I was not pleased to see them in the condo. We found some Raid under the sink which tells me someone knew or at least assumed this was already a problem. I can send photos in a separate email since I can’t send them through this platform.

Sealodge had a beautiful location with a lovely view. However it was lacking air condotioning so it was very uncomfortable for sleeping at night.
