⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES
🚧 Construction Notice: Stucco repair work is ongoing at the resort. It does not affect the pool, fitness center, lobby, or elevators, but light noise may occur during daytime hours.
🗝️UNIT CONDITION: This condo is older and not remodeled. It is exceptionally clean and well-stocked, but furnishings and décor are dated. Please consider before booking if you prefer modern interiors.
🏨 ZONING: This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of the possible upcoming short term rental ban.
🌊 BEACH INFORMATION
The beach fronting Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that affect its size and accessibility. During the fall and winter, sand may temporarily wash away but typically returns in spring and summer. Our HOA, the County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii continue working to restore Kahana Bay. If beach access is limited, a public beach access is located within a 5-minute walk. Photos from 1/16/23 show useable beach, but this is not guaranteed.
🦎🐓PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location, you may experience the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii — please don’t harm them. The HOA performs regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Contact us if you notice excessive activity; we’ll coordinate with the HOA.
☀️CLIMATE: Hawaii’s tropical climate allows insects, rodents, and lizards to thrive. Any encounters, inside or outside, do not constitute a refund or rental adjustment.

The Neighborhood:
Located in Kahana on West Maui's coastline, this condo is less than a half mile away from a sandy beach at Pohaku Beach Park. This resort is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and beach rentals all within walking distance. A short drive away is Kapalua to the north and Ka'anapali to the south for more expansive shopping, dining, golf, and beaches.

Wonderful location. The studio is equipped well- just love having a well stocked kitchen . Loved our balcony and the wonderful ocean view. Superb communication with renter!!!!!!. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip

The property owners do not budge on the check-in time. Plan accordingly. We had to sit outside the property for 45 minutes because there is ZERO allowance to check in early. There was another couple that had to deal with the same thing. Secondly, parking is NOT included. I searched for a property that had parking, only to be charge 20/day by the site. It’s a small sentence in the “welcome” package that rates may apply. Would have been nice to know that on the front end. Thirdly, the door to the patio was the equivalent of trying to move a small boulder. View was worth it, but know that it’s clearly in need of repair. The room was fine. You’re given only three towels, so we did have to do laundry a couple times. Plenty of laundry pods available. Pool was nice. We used the grill by the pool two of our nights there. No beach. It’s washed away and basically only sand bags.I would suggest moving the bed to the opposite wall so you could actually see the view when you wake up in the morning. Beach towels and chairs available. Bonus that there was an actual ice machine in the freezer!

This was a great unit to stay in! Excellent view and everything clean and fresh. When we had a couple of small glitches when we arrived Stay Aloha fixed them within hours! Will definitely stay again!

We are a family of 4 and stayed here for 4 nights. It’s very good for the price point and given the full kitchenette we were able to cook. Parking is additional and you need to pay for permit.
