Beautiful house. Really enjoyed the sounds of the rainforest. The frogs and the pheasants. The hot tub was wonderful after long hikes in volcanoes national park located only 2 miles away. The house was clean with an adorable style. Highly recommend.

Beautiful garden, very nice jacuzzi and spacious living areas. In general had all the amenities you need to enjoy the area. Cozy cabin type home feeling which fits the area. Beds, especially the queen, were way too soft and sagged dramatically into the center (We are not overweight people). Made it hard to get a god nights sleep.

We have stayed in a lot of VRBO and rental units. This was by far the coolest we have ever been at.We booked very last minute because we wanted to extend our stay in Volcano to see Kilauea erupt.Quiet, peaceful, extremely clean. So charming and unique. We were obsessed with the furnishings. Read outside and listened to the birds daily. Super close to Volcano National park. Loved it. Will stay again for sure if given the opportunity.

We had an excellent weekend. The only reason for the 4 stars for cleanliness is just the hot tub. We still enjoyed it but it most definitely needed a cleaning. I would 100% stay here again! So worth it! Much Mahalos for a great experience!

We had an amazing family adventure in Volcano and this house was perfect. Felt a littel rustic (like an old family cabin) - but it was exactly what we wanted. The rain sounded amazing on the metal roof, sipping hot chocolate by the fire at night before bed (and in the AM to shake off the chill). It was awesome and my kids can't wait to go back.

We loved the house inside and out. Perfect for our family. Kids loved exploring the backyard and hearing the frogs at night and birds during the day. Close to the entrance to the park. We would definitely stay again.

This property is extremely well cared for. The landscaping and home are absolutely gorgeous. The deck and window doors allow for a comfortable “outdoor” experience even when it rains. The hot tub was a fantastic added bonus for the cooler evenings. Loved the location as well.

Extremely clean 2-bedroom condo in a great location/proximity to Waikoloa restaurants and shops with a very decent view of the ocean and sunset. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach towels, chairs, coolers, etc. Although on-line listing referred to 10 minutes walking to the beach, we found that that driving to and parking few minutes from the A-beach was a better option.

It felt like being in the middle of nowhere, even though we were just 2 minutes from numerous restaurants, shops and food trucks and only 5 minutes from the entrance to Volcanoes Park. We loved the fireplace! The hot tub was great but needed a cleaning. The garden is truly heavenly. It is so peaceful. Be forewarned that you have to buy your drinking water! Shop in Hilo before coming.

Wonderful property, from the grounds flora and fauna, wild birds, feral pig, the home was delightful and very comfortable, loved the fireplace and hot tub. The team at Vacasa were great in answering questions for wifi code and helping out generally. Stayed a week and could have stayed longer!!

Met my sim and his wife on the Big Island on our annual visit with him in HI. The cottage was perfect for our trip to Volcanoes. So peaceful and lush. Mornings on the lanai listening to rain on the roof and birds in the yard while watching giant germs waving in the wind was like being in Jurassic park. Convenient location and charming appointments. Thank you for making this magical place available.

Beautiful house in a lush setting. We were interested in spending time at Volcano NP and this house was a perfect location. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. Make sure you bring all the groceries you need as the listing states there are no groceries close by. We had four days of rain and temperatures in the 50s. The only source of heat is the fireplace so it was chilly in the house. The beds were very comfortable with lots of blankets to keep us cozy. We enjoyed the relaxing setting and comfortable home.

Great house full of wonderful local art. House was meticulously clean. Hot tub must have missed a service as it was not clean. Volcano Village and the park are mystical and magical places.

We had a great time at this house. It was one of the more memorable places we've ever stayed. The house is full of interesting artwork and furniture from Hawaii and around the world. The setting was peaceful and felt secluded while being close to all of the amenities in Volcano. We were prepared for the cool and damp weather that is common for the area, but a particularly heavy rain system came through during our visit. It was definitely chilly in the house but the fireplace and electric space heaters helped as well as the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again.
