Loved the house. Well appointed, cozy beds and clean. The patios facing the golf course make for truly magical mornings and evenings. The host are very generous with beach chairs, towels, some toys, bikes and more. Makes beach days very easy.Albatross nesting area feet from the house, watching the cute babies all week was amazing.One item of note, a house is being built next door, as of March 2025. So if you plan on visiting in the near future, there will be construction happening.

After we activated (and paid extra for) the air conditioners, we enjoyed this beautiful home immensely. Being from the south we were just not used to upper 70’s to low 80 degree temps without a/c. Golf course and ocean views were wonderful, and the birds were a hoot. Very pleased.

This is a clean, lovely house with comfortable furnishings and unbelievable views. From the back lanai you can see a majestic mountain view, a large stretch of the ocean, the golf course, and lots of Albatross sitting on eggs or courting, as well as nenes and many beautiful birds. The pool is terrific, the hot tub much used, and all the beach gear and bikes saved us money! Easy drive to Hanalei and the outstanding beaches there. Shopping and a Sunshine market were right in Princeville. Everything you want in a Hawaii vacation spot!

Wonderful visit! Host set great tone for visit communicating house info and sharing ideas on activities. House is ver conveniently located. We hiked to queens bath and also enjoyed the short walk down the main road to hide away beach plus other public access. The house is very well stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes plus two grills and food land is a large and close grocery store.
We really enjoyed the albatrosses! They are precious! One was nesting and the others would stop by and talk/dance together. So fun to watch!
There were so many nice beach toys at the house - we loaded up the wagon with boogie boards and chairs and had a blast each day. The pool provided a nice break from the ocean.
We had rain but the covered back porch was perfect and sheltered so we were still able to enjoy Hawaii :)

We loved this house! Great views; both mountain, golf course and ocean. We loved having a private pool and hot tub. We would love to stay again in the future!
One note is that it would be better if the pool got serviced twice a week since it's a rental. It needed some cleaning when we arrived and pool guy wasn't coming for a few of days.

My family just spent a fabulous week at Ala Hale and the house exceeded our expectations at every turn. First off, the photos do not do justice to the spectacular view from the upper lanai with the eye-candy of soaring mountains & multiple waterfalls on the left, verdant golf course green-ways in the middle and the stunning Pacific ocean on the right. A wonderful vantage point for rainbows & sunsets! We delighted in watching the albatross on her nest and enjoyed the myriad of winged visitors to the lanai - it felt like we were living in an aviary. The pool was so inviting that we used it every day. We loved the in-pool hot tub that would get piping hot at the touch of a button and we greatly appreciated the beauty of the garden-like pool surroundings. While the stone waterfall and bamboo fencing provide a solid wall of privacy from the street along the rear of the yard, the owners thoughtfully chose wire fencing for the sides with views of flowering shrubbery that make the backyard a lush oasis. The bedrooms & bathrooms are all comfortable, but the common spaces of the great room, kitchen, upper lanai and backyard are truly outstanding. The four bicycles came in handy for pedaling though the neighborhood and exploring Princeville. Thank you to our friendly host, Cash, who was readily available with answers to any questions. We look forward to a return visit!

We checked into this place and didn't want to leave. It was very clean and uncluttered. The kids all slept downstairs and liked having their own bathroom and space to spread out. I picked this place because I've spent some miserable nights in Hawaii in places without a/c. They have new a/c units in the bedrooms, but we did not need them on this trip. There are a lot of windows and sliders to open up and let the breeze flow through. It was nice to have them though in case it got too hot inside. The kitchen appliances were great. My favorite spot was on the balcony with almost a 180 degree view. We saw waterfalls in the mountains and sunsets over the ocean. We walked to Queens Bath and walked about 20 minutes to Hideaways. There is an impressive amount of beach equipment, snorkel gear (which we used), coolers, bikes, and so much more. Cash, the property manager, was responsive with information. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful home! Everything you need is here. There was even an electric tea kettle in the kitchen. The garage was stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs and bikes- made the trip extra fun! The lanai is huge and offers breath taking sunrise and sunset views!! Cash was easy to reach and very helpful!! Can’t wait to stay at this beautiful home again!!
