This is a lovely place to explore Kauai (especially North Shore), we had a great time staying here. Perfect location for a quick access to all of our favorite spots (Tunnels beach, Hanalei food trucks, Kilauea food spots, Anini Beach, Kalihiwai Beach, etc.). Wi-Fi was great, and we really needed it for a remote work and random conference calls. And we loved a little jungle view at the backyard of the property (btw, avocados are just delicious!). We had a few minor issues with putting our baby to sleep at the condo, but I must say, this is definitely our personal issues, not a property fault - our LO is noise sensitive, and the squeaky floors didn't help with her sleep, and the condo gets really hot in the afternoon, but we somehow managed with fans available at the place or ended up sleeping at the beach. So this part might be something to keep in mind while traveling with small kids. But overall the place is definitely a gem, highly recommended!

We loved the location being away from big resorts and yet somewhat a part of it all! So perfect! We had researched our hiking and beach trip a lot and the condo was lovely for all our mud and sand and sun adventures! It is pin-drop quiet at night and the fans’ white noise was essential for lulling us to sleep in blissful coolness. We named and became acquainted with a few special chickens (Old Broken Tail) and cats (Lioness) and chameleons (Rainbow and Gunter)! Our host, Kristina, was so sweet and generous with special touches! It really was homey and we threatened to never leave! Sunrise/rainbow yoga is a must! We have thousands of pictures and wonderful memories from all corners of this beautiful island, Kauai! We will definitely touch base again! Aloha! Thank you Kristina! Mahalo & Namaste!

Everything was perfect! Well appointed condo near Princeville and Hanalei in a residential area . Small lanai looks over a jungle so lovely bird song every morning . Liked walking down to the river at Hanalei bay several mornings . Nice to have beach gear so we didn’t have to buy or rent. 2 bedrooms and 1 bath are upstairs . Comfortable beds and pillows . Nice fans in all rooms . Good communication . Hope to stay here again .

Their home is tucked away in a nice spot. Its convenient to the main road, and just far enough the lights wont bother you that you can walk around the parking lot and see the stars at night. You drive down the street and you get an amazing view of the bay (and nice spot to see stars if going late at night, few cars). The parking was also right in front - so convenient! Also next to the princeville shopping center and the best breakfast / lunch food truck is literally just down the street behind the urgent care and fire station, you can walk there given how close they all are.The host was super responsive, very helpful and very nice. We had a great time staying here. They also provide so many supplies that you will be left with a pleasant surprise on arrival. Plenty of tabs for laundry and dishes, very clean and everything you wish the other "resorts" did a better job with. Highly recommend you stop comparing, I honestly do not think we could have found a better place even though other places has nice pictures too.

We had such a great time visiting the North Shore and staying at Kristina’s property. It started out great with her quick responses when I had questions before booking and along the way leading up to our stay. We were welcomed with cute gifts and the place was perfect for what we needed. The location was great and the community was very quiet. There was an avocado tree out back that my husband would go out every morning and collect fresh avocados for our breakfast. I would definitely recommend this spot!

The property is located in an ideal part of the north shore with easy access to many adventures in and around both Hanalei and Princeville and over to many of the beaches on the northern coast. We loved everything about this place from its location to the modern layout with splendid wooden floors, kitchen and living space to the lanai out back providing a place of serenity (including the avocado tree)! The host was very responsive and made checkin in/out a breeze. We were very sad to leave (it’s that good)! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a little piece of heaven on Kauai’s north shore. Next time we come back we would definitely stay here again!

My husband and two kids stayed here for 9 days . The condo was perfect for us . We loved the layout and it was just the right size. We took advantage of the kitchen a lot as we ate many meals at home . The location was perfect for taking many day trips but also they were so many beaches near by to go to . We truly enjoyed our stay. Nice new condo with plenty of windows to capture the Trades, and lots of fans. The kitchen is well appointed. The host, Kristina, went out of her way to make sure we could drop off perishables before check-in time, and to help me access a prescription sent to her mailbox. Dining room chairs felt uncomfortable and the lanais are just narrow covered entries. The property is beautifully landscaped, well maintained and quiet. Parking for Unit 2B is right beside the front entry.

We had such a wonderful time at this property. It’s very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen has everything you need and the location is perfect (Anini beach and Hideaway beach are just a few minutes away). The patio is so cute and we loved having our morning coffee there. The host was very nice and responded to all our messages and queries. We regret not staying longer. Next time we will make sure to book a much longer stay. Until next time Kauai! Mahalo :)

We have fallen in love with this property!!
The location is quaint, quiet, cozy, and close to everything (food trucks, hiking, beaches, amazing natural scenery, and shopping). Loved the quiet hours. The beds are very comfortable and linens are so soft. The special treats are a nice personal touch. The kitchen is well stocked. Washer and dryer are a great amenity, quiet, and worked very well.
Kristina is very communicative.
It was very warm and a bit stuffy when we first got there but it cooled off quickly and the evening trade winds are very nice and cool the house a lot. We didn’t mind not having air condition. As a matter of fact, we loved the morning and evening breeze, smelling the air and rain, hearing the birds, roosters, and rain.
I recommend either wiping down the washer door, propping the washer door open, or adding a non-bleach sanitizer (which we found at Foodland) to keep mildew scent at bay due to moisture.
We loved coming back to our Home Away From Home after daily adventures.

If your planning on staying on the North side of Kauai with family including an 18 month old. This is the place for you. The owner Kristina is on top of it. We truly felt really comfortable with this bungalow. It's near the local market and urgent care facility, not to mention the fire station is right on the corner. The hike to poo poa beach is fun. This place and scenery are spectacular.

We had the most delightful stay at this VRBO in Princeville, Kauai! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmth of Hawaiian hospitality and the sheer convenience of the location. Nestled near beautiful beaches and useful shops, it was the perfect hub for our family vacation.
The apartment itself was well-stocked, cute and clean, a priority especially when traveling with both a young daughter and a grandmother. We were pleasantly surprised by the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking our own meals a breeze, and the thoughtful provision of beach supplies saved us the hassle of renting bulky gear.
Check-in and check-out were seamless, thanks to the efficient process set up by our hosts. When we had a question, they were incredibly responsive, ensuring our comfort and peace of mind throughout our stay.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. This apartment truly exceeded our expectations, and we're already dreaming of our next visit. Mahalo to the hosts for sharing their slice of paradise with us!

My husband and friend connected with my son who lives on Kauai and the location of Kristina's VRBO was close to our son's place. We enjoyed walking from the condo to the beach for morning swims, about a 20 minute walk. The modern, comfortable condo was extremely clean and well supplied with everything we needed including boogie boards and beach chairs. The kitchen was a nice sized for our family meals and had everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed going to the nearby farmer's markets, beaches and hiking areas. I would definitely stay again in the future.

Our stay was excellent and the home was perfect. We cooked meals, used the chairs and umbrella on the beach, enjoyed the fresh air on the back deck. Market was supper close, Hanelei Bay was an excellent location for relaxing on the beach and took only about 5mins to drive there. The location was just wonderful and we would highly recommend to those looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay and enjoy the island from. Mahalo!!!

Had a most wonderful stay at the Hale Honu. We were welcomed with thoughtful treats and gifts upon arrival. I have visited Kauai many times over the years and found this to be the perfect spot on the North shore. Close Hanalei town, Princeville and Kilauea for shopping and libations. Great path to a small beach and fab house amenities. We really enjoyed cooking and relaxing after days at the beach and hiking. The space is much more large and bright than imagined and we were so thankful for the many extras like chairs, coolers and towels. Most touching was the communication and extra TLC we received from our host when I had a lost item retrieved and delivered after our check-out. I was so grateful.

Excellent stay. Location was as good as we could have expected. 5 minute walk to Nourish for the best Acai bowls on the island and that view!!
Also, the walk along the old Club Med path down to the beach is great. Did that every morning.
King bed in the master room, super comfy.
Used all the beach toys, umbrella and chairs. Great to have access to those!
The floors needed an extra sweep when we arrived but that wasn't that big of a deal once we found the broom on the side of the washing machine.
Roosters in the early morning, as expected were noisy but that's Kauai. I kind of liked them. :)

Lovely home with a fantastic view! Kristina’s home was the perfect size for our family of 4. The view upon entering her street is breathtaking. I found the mattresses and bedding to be very comfortable. The rooms were very airy and great breeze for sleeping in the evenings. The house was equipped with everything we would’ve needed for our stay. There’s a walk that can take you to Pu’u Poa beach, the path itself was stunning. This is definitely a home we’d like to revisit in the future.

We wanted to avoid small spaces like you would get at a hotel and this place was perfect for my little kids to run around. The townhome was clean and had everything you need. It was also close to beaches and hikes. The host was responsive and accommodated us with changes to our schedule. Definitely recommend to anyone with a small family.

My son and I stayed at this lovely condo for 3 nights. It was a perfect base to enjoy the north side of the island. It was a quick drive into Hanalei where we spent most of our time exploring the Napali Coast. The condo was clean and was supplied with everything you might need. We felt like we got a slice of authentic island life. We would highly recommend this rental to friends and family.

This lovely unit was easy to find, comfortable, clean, and spacious. My family really enjoyed staying here, although the local roosters did make for some rather early mornings! Hanalei has a lot of nice places to eat and hang out, and although we did not check out the beaches nearby, the short drive to Ha'ena Beach Park was amazing. Queen's Bath, just a few minutes north, was a challenging scramble down some muddy trails but worth the effort. Overall a very nice stay!

Everything you need under the sun! A calming retreat , secluded from commercialism yet extremely close to the best beaches and a Foodland in Princville that has everything !
A kitchen stocked like home, except for the cucumber peeler. ha ha! Excellent Boogie Boards! Umbrella! Cooler! Beach towels and delicious sheets and beds!

Very nice to receive a basket with soap, chocolate and other goodies, house has boogie boards, and sand toys to use. Perfect size for a small family. Kristina was very responsive from the time we booked and throughout our stay. The location was great… close to shops, food, grocery and about a 10 minute beautiful drive into Hanalei. The walk to the ocean through the path was different then we expected (a little more adventurous then we could do with the kids) so we opted to drive. Overall, we had a great stay and loved the gifts and little touches the host provided!

This property was perfect for our stay in Kauai. The location was just what we wanted. It was close to Hanalei Bay, and all the beaches on the north side of the island. We enjoyed the hike (Old Club Med) that was just down the street. We loved being close to the Foodland grocery store and Princeville food court.
It's in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view out the back door. It had everything we needed. We used the beach chairs every day. Boogie boards, cooler, umbrella, and sand toys for kids were also provided. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. Bath towels and beach towels were plush. We were gone all day enjoying the island, so we didn't use the kitchen for cooking, but it was well stocked and we loved having a fridge with icemaker and filtered water to fill our water bottles for the day. We used the washer and dryer and appreciated having laundry detergent available.
The home was clean, however, we noticed window blinds and slatted doors were dusty. We would have preferred doors without slats on the bathroom and bedroom doors for more privacy (especially sound), but since we were family, it was ok.
Overall, it was a wonderful place and would stay here again. We loved the gifts and fresh flowers provided for us! Thank you, Kristina!

Our family of four (two adults, 13 yo and 10 yo) had a great stay at this lovely condo. It was immaculate when we arrived, and had so many thoughtful touches inside, from fresh flowers to chocolates to ear plugs to help with rooster noise! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed, a big help when wanting to cook at home. The complex the condo is part of is clean and quiet and we met some friendly neighbors. The road it’s on is spectacular, with stunning views of Hanalei valley and mountains from right up the street and a delicious little restaurant at the end of the road. Princeville grocery store is right nearby and it’s a short drive into hanalei. A great place to stay with a family. Highly recommend!

We were four adults and stayed for 12 nights. We had an excellent stay, the property had everything we needed, including a fast and reliable internet connection. The place is very close (2 min drive, 10 walk) to Princeville shopping area with Foodland and 5 min drive to Hanalei. We will be staying here again when we come to the North Shore.

Very clean, cozy home. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We enjoyed kayaking nearby, hiking and visiting beaches. The roosters will let you know the sun is up. Our stay was dry, 80 degree weather. Our group has dietary restrictions so we appreciate being able to cook our own meals.

A wonderful space for a get away! Clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood with only the lovely sounds of the jungle. Adventure during the day and return to this cozy house to unwind.
Bonus, the kitchen had all the things, so you can hit the farmer's markets and cook/enjoy all the fresh produce Kauai has to offer!

For less experienced ocean goers Hanalei is one of the best places to stay on Kauai. We have smaller kids with limited time in the ocean, after playing on all the other shores it was so nice to go to Hanalei and relax by/in the calm waters.
The house provided us with everything we needed and backs up to the forest. It was lovely, thanks for the stay.

This property was great! I really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen is large, well stocked and the house is comfortable.
Some things to know - it is in a quiet residential community. Seems a good handful of the neighbors are Hawaii residents - be respectful of the space, your noise level, etc.
The back porch looks out to the jungle and we enjoyed sitting out there relaxing.
There is a great little hike at the end of the street down to a beach near Hanalei bay - take advantage of that little hike!
The breakfast place by the fire station when you turn into the neighborhood is bomb - but gets busy.
Overall the condo was clean, well stocked. There were welcome gifts - which was a very nice personal touch.

Kristina's guesthouse is beautiful, bright and spacious!
She provides brand new amenities and has thought of all the accessories you need for an island vacation She really goes above and beyond and that was really appreciated from us.
The roosters will wake you up at ~ 05:30am each day and won't often quiet down until late afternoon. So not ideal if you plan to sleep in.
Quiet time in the complex also starts around 20:00 so if you plan to eat dinner later, best to eat inside.

This property did not disappoint! The location is incredible, very easy to go into Princeville or Hanalei and in a very cute and friendly neighborhood. The owners were incredibly communicative and flexible when plans changed, they also left us all the information we could need or want to help us with our stay. They even welcomed us with fresh flowers and a gift basket of local goods!

This home was a great place for our family of four during our trip to Kauai. It’s at a great location on the north shore and it’s in a quiet neighborhood. Good communication from host and nice welcoming message greeted us when we arrived. No AC but wasn’t a problem at all. Wife was happy and the kids made good memories.
