This is located in a gated community, easy to find and the neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The house is very clean and organized. I loved sitting out on the patio and watching the resident gecko run around. We were a party of six and stayed for 8 nights, this house was a perfect fit.

Our family stayed here for 1 week. The house was as described, immaculate and well stocked (full bottles of shampoo, toilet paper,etc)- while we did go to the grocery to get supplies the first day- we didn't really need to until day 4. Very thoughtfully set up with everything needed to start your vacation immediately.The location is about 20 min drive from downtown Ali'i drive, 2 hours to Volcano NP. 30 min from airport. It is in a quiet gated community As I researched this location, there were some rare random comments about communication issues with the property manager but we had no issues. They were helpful, timely and professional with our many questions. They made great recommendations re: groceries, beaches, parking areas, etc. The only constructive feedback, so that this review is balanced and transparent (and none of these issues would even warrant any change in my star ratings of the place)-Instructions on the TV and thermostat (Nest smart device). Many vacation homes have a small "orientation packet" to help with various devices. While I had my tech savvy teens help- those less adept might struggle.-The description on the VRBO website lists a "fitness center"- I did point this out to the owners so hopefuly this has been removed. But there is NO fitness center available. -The grill ignitor did not work and there was 1-2 days of turnaround for it to be addressed.Overall, as perfect a VRBO house as we've had and we've used VRBO for over 10 years!

House and property was terrific. We loved their design and the features of the home. Cleanliness, comfort, accessibility was top notch. We ran into an issue of the fire alarms chirping at night. After our first night of this, and resetting the alarms, we contacted the property management by email and no response. On night 2, it started chirping again, and on day 3 finally property management sent someone out to change batteries. On night 3, it chirped again all night and now 2 of the alarms were chirping, called and finally on day 4 the property management changed all batteries on all alarms. We would have done this, but ceilings were to high to reach and did not have a ladder. Even on nights when we would call their after hours and weekend numbers, no response until 8:30 the next day. In summary, terrific house and would have been 5 Stars however, when you are only able to get 1 good night sleep on a 4 night stay, and they show no remorse of compensation for their lack of concern about not sleeping for 3 days while on a vacation hoping to get some R&R, they are lucky to get 3 stars!Our family has given nothing but 5 star reviews so very difficult to have to do this. Hope only next time, property management will return their after hours voicemails and emails sent in the middle of the night.

This is a new property, which boasts 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a gourmet kitchen. The house was clean and spacious. It is located in a safe gated community. Our family was able to use this location as a home base for exploring the Kona area and the Big Island.

Everyone in our family enjoyed this property. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the lanai throughout the day. Pickleball was a 3 minute walk away. Management was accessible and in contact. I would stay here again!

This house in Keahou is super comfortable. I stayed there with my two small kids, and benefitted from community poop and the patio at the side of the house, where we would have breakfast outside. We chose the house for its proximity to Kahalu because we love snorkeling there. We would absolutely stay there again.
