We loved this property so much last year, we decided to come back again this year.The host, Kevin is warm and welcoming plus knowledgable about what to do and where to find the best dinning.The location is perfect, as it is close to several beaches, with nice running/walking pathways to view the sunrise/sunset and enjoy the breeze from the ocean. The rooms are nestled in your own personal garden with water features.AC works great too!

Description in vrbo of the rental unit was very accurate. It is very nice and clean and very convenient. It is close to the shopping and restaurants, 5 min walk to Shipwreck Beach and Grand Hyatt Hotel. Very close to Poipu Beach. Kevin is a great host and always there if you have any questions. Overall a great place to stay for your vacation in Kauai.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The location is excellent—walking distance to the Hyatt and the beach—and we really appreciated that the host provided beach and snorkel gear. Just a heads up for future guests: the hot tub and swinging chair are in the communal area, not private to the unit. During our stay we did run into quite a few bugs inside, which we had to manage. Otherwise, a convenient spot with some thoughtful touches from the host.

The host is responsive, the location is great, the koi pond is cool too. Also has on-site laundry and good AC. The only thing that was disappointing was the kitchenette. Its not a kitchen in any way but rather a sink in one side of the closet with things like microwave, rice maker, blender. So you lose half the close space for storage and all the cookware is stored in the dresser so you lose almost all storage space. Was fine for a solo traveler but might be tight for more than 1. Additionally the hot playe didnt work so i just used the microwave. Theres a coffee maker and fridge which was also great. Plenty of seasonigs for cooking too. All in all, eas a good deal especially for a solo traveler. The walls are pretty thin thoigh so bring some earplugs because you can hear the neighbors if theyre loud. Also the host is very nice and loves there and was helpful.

Kevin and his property allowed us to have such a relaxing time at Kauai. He was very responsive and the amenities such as the hot tub, beach supplies, and laundry were very helpful. He also granted us a late checkout which allowed us to squeeze in one more beach before our departure. I’ll be recommending my friends to this Vrbo whenever they visit Kauai. Thanks so much Kevin, you’re a great host and we loved your place!

We had a really nice stay in the Tropical Rendezvous room. It was quiet, clean and surrounded by lovely landscaping and koi ponds. The owner, Kevin, is super helpful and friendly and provides enough beach supplies for everyone (we definitely needed the umbrella and beach chairs while hanging out at the beach all day)! The unit had everything we needed for our stay, but we also did very minimal cooking so only having a kitchenette was perfectly fine. It appeared that everyone had their own BBQ grill outside their units, though we never used ours. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided as well. You do have to park on the street, but it's not super busy and it's so close that it wasn't a big deal.The units also have AC, which is nice since so many other rental properties don't (we only used it to cool the room down a bit in the evening - having the screen door open was generally fine).The pool is a bit of a walk (maybe 10 min), but it worked out great since Kalapaki Joe's is right behind it (best happy hour from 3-6)! We look forward to coming back!It was a very nice stay and we will be back!

This was a lovely place to stay during our visit. The AC was great, as were all the amenities. It's a bummer that the hot tub was under repair when we stayed there, but it was a great stay, and I would highly recommend it.

First off. Kevin is very helpful and responsive. King sized bed is very comfortable as well as the pillows. Room is well lit and the A/C very quiet once you know how to program it. It has as kitchenette not a kitchen as you might have seen in the description. Small refrigerator, one burner induction plate, coffee maker and very well stocked cooking utensils, dishes and glasses. Small sink in the closet, with the microwave. Shower is much bigger than the photo. You can easily get two people in it at once. Plenty of hot water. Two shower heads, a rain shower which as per usual is difficult to keep free of lime deposits the other head is great with fantastic water pressure. Not a ton of space for clothes. One closet to hang things and two drawers in the dresser. You can also use the shelf under the nightstand. A nice table and chairs to eat at. The pool is .6 miles away a 15 minute walk not the 7 minutes as listed unless you really hoof it be sure to get the key fob on the main door to get into the pool. Noise - it’s very quiet for the most part. You will, however, know when your neighbor either takes a shower or flushes the toilet.

Beautiful room and garden courtyard near the conference hotel. I'm glad the Hyatt was booked up-- this was better! Host has thought of everything. Even happened to have my favorite shampoo, Nexxus, in the gorgeous stone shower. I would stay here again for sure.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect set up. Quiet and personal. Super clean with all the amenities we needed. Little kitchenette was perfect. Kevin was terrific. Easy in and out. Will definitely recommend to friends and use again.

Loved the place. Quiet neighborhood, clean room, great host, well stocked kitchenette. We used the BBQ a few times vs the hot plate. The Keurig has the adapter to use ground coffee which was nice. Easy walk to the Hyatt and Brennecke's. Kevin was great about communication which was greatly appreciated. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a great location near Poipu that's not a resort.

Superior quality stay with hospitable host. We had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the location immensely! Kevin lives on the property and is easily accessible, kind and welcoming. Beautiful beaches within a short walking distance as well as safe walking and running trails. This property is conveniently located next to the Grand Hyatt and a great alternative to hotel living. The cooking area is small but sufficient to preparing most anything. My husband enjoyed the workout area available in the garage. We highly recommend!

My wife and I had an awesome trip to Kevin's property. It was clean, modern, and exactly like it was described. Kevin is a great host who was prompt with communication and even more kind in person. It was easy to feel at home on his property.
