The unit was very clean and located in a nice neighborhood. The inside was spacious and came with everything we needed. The best part was the sunsets in the evening.

Although the property had everything we needed, we encountered unexpected functional items. The ice maker did not work. We called the 800 number for assistance, and they seemed to want us to troubleshoot it by taking it apart. We had to leave for a tour, so they sent maintenance. Maintenance told us it dispensed ice when they were there, but it never dispensed ice the 5 days following the maintenance call, so we bought ice. The hot water heater was on an undisclosed timer. We learned of it after running out of hot water about 8 am. We then called the 800 number and they had us check the hot water heater for electricity. There was none as the timer was in the off position. The unit was no smoking as desired, but the downstairs tenant smoked outside regularly and we could smell it. The quiet hours also seemed a bit restrictive as all laundry needed to be done between 8 am - 9 pm. As all tastes are different, this comment is for informational purposes only, the master bed is extremely firm.

Was a fabulous place. Big and spacious. Loved the lanai. Would sit out there and was the Sun set over the ocean! We liked the location. Was quiet and peaceful as well as private. Close to all the places we wanted to visit, but not too crowded. Glad for the air conditioning. Had all the amenities we needed. Was very glad for the umbrella and beach chairs as we are beach people. Had our own snorkel equipment. Would highly recommend,

Kitchen is probably the best stocked we've seen in any vacation rental, and there is a beach umbrella and other items to use. Had a great view of Maui/Haleakala, the ocean, Mauna Loa and the Kohala Mountains. Dryer takes 2 cycles to dry, and the driveway is a little funky, but other than that we had a great stay. Loved the balcony.

Beautiful place - very quiet and peaceful. It was well stocked with anything you would need. Place was bigger than we expected. Tenant downstairs was very friendly and helpful in telling us sights to see and how to get there. Would recommend this house.

My family loved this home! The view was wonderful. The outside lanai was large with comfortable seating! The house had all the little things you could think of, plus more. Beds were comfortable, and the home was clean. The pictures really don’t show how large the space is. We were pleasantly surprised! The community is very laid back, safe, and relaxing. Neighbors were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a rental in this area.

I loved it all. Most importantly though was the AC. I’m from alaska and can’t sleep if it’s too hot. AC in every room.

Kona was our second island we stayed on our two week Hawaii adventure. A little hard to find at first. But finally we arrived to most beautiful home on our trip. The set up of this home was perfect. The balcony was placed so perfect the winds never effected relaxation time on the second floor balcony. Considering Kona winds can be unpleasant. This home adds to the ambience in natural beauty of this island!! Thank you from the Rios and Valencia families!

The weather was perfect for 35 days and we barely needed the A/C because of the breeze. There were a couple small issues with the house but the management team dealt with them promptly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was as described and exceeded our expectations. This was not only our first time visiting Hawaii, it was our first time renting a property of this kind. Arrival was super easy and the communication was great. Things were very tidy and the amount of items in the cabinets was amazing. We had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, There is a market just 5 minutes away. Having access to laundry facilities made for packing less for the trip. The place was very quite at night and the view of the sunset from the Lanai every night was amazing. When return to the Big Island we will definitely be stay here again.

My wife and I along with a friend and her adult daughter came to the Big for a training that we vising in Hapuna Beach annually. Honestly, I felt lucky to secure the property for our trip, in the pictures it seemed to be perfect, the pictures made the place look so comfortable and the festive decor enhanced the positive mana of our visit to Hawaii. As I recall the incredible experience that we shared on this trip, I can think of any suggestions that would make the stay in the home possibly any better than it was. It was just as advertised, the home and furniture were perfect in term of all of our needs for the trip, and communication with the property owner was seamless, easy, and Aloha. I've saved the property on my account as a favorite, and I'm optimistically crossing my fingers that on our next trip to the Big Island its available to us. Thank you! Mahalo, Malamapono, and A hui Hou🙏🤙

We just got back from our 5 week stay at this unit. We absolutely LOVED it and we have the following comments: - The unit is on the 2nd floor with AWESOME views! We ate every meal on the very spacious lanai. We loved that! - The unit is quite large and spacious with a large master bedroom and a large living area plus a large lanai. - The long term resident on the 1st floor does smoke occasionally but we didn't find it overly annoying, even when we were on the lanai (we are non-smokers). And introduce yourself to him! He is quite nice! - Beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels were provided with the unit for which we were quite grateful - The A/C in the unit was helpful for when things got a little toasty in the afternoon/evening - The tropical breezes in Waikaloa Village are awesome! Our son slept outside on the lanai when it was breezy during the nights. - There is a mango tree and a papaya tree in the back yard that you can get some ripe mangos and papayas from. - There was a mandatory evacuation due to a fire the first Sunday we were there. Turnkey contacted us to make sure we were safe and to make sure we had a place to stay. Many thanks to Turnkey for watching out for us. Overall we had an absolutely awesome time staying here! We will be back for sure!
