Gated and privately framed with lush tropical landscaping, the house has the perfect blend of seclusion and proximity to everything the area has to offer. Boutiques, restaurants, and more all await just outside your villa gates, with world-famous Hanalei Bay and the beautiful Hanalei River just a short stroll away.
Sample local cuisine from the many restaurants or take your pick of fresh fish at the market to cook later. Rent bikes, kayaks and/or surfboard and sign up for lessons right across the street. Take scenic strolls on the sand and watch the picturesque sunset over Hanalei Bay and the famed Hanalei Pier -- so perfect it could be a postcard.
Entering Hanalei Waterfall House, island comfort and quality greet you. The main first floor boasts two spacious ensuite king bedrooms with full private bathrooms. Upstairs, you’ll find the third bedroom (which sleeps four -- either configured as a king bed plus twin bunk beds, or can be configured if you’d like as two twin beds in addition to the twin bunks), together with a third bathroom and the airy, open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge beneath vaulted ceilings accented with wood beams and skylight. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need, while the space there encourages the whole Ohana to cook and enjoy time together. Share the fruits of your labor in the beautiful dining area as you gaze at lush tropical views.
French doors entice you to step outside onto the spacious shaded lanai where you'll be wowed by the Hihimanu Mountain Range with towering peaks and ever-flowing waterfalls. You will quickly know how Waterfall House earned its name. Relax there with a cup of coffee in the morning hours. Come back after a day of exploring and unwind there with a refreshing drink as the group chef sears fresh fish to perfection on the lanai’s BBQ. Embrace tropical breezes and appreciate all of Kauai's beauty.
For your island adventures, you will find hiking poles for the trails, as well as all the beach gear you’ll need -- beach chairs & umbrellas, boogie boards, a large cooler, and a beach wagon make the beach days complete, enjoyable, and stress-free. When you head back home, the refreshing outdoor shower welcomes you to rinse the sand off and then ease into the rest of your day.
Other amenities guests are sure to appreciate include high-speed Wi-Fi, TVs (with cable and streaming services), Sonos wireless speakers, board games, a gas grill, and a full-size washer and dryer.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

I’ll never book with Vacasa again! Bummer because the house is in a great location, and layout worked great for our 2 families, totaling 8. The house wasn’t thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. Crumbs on the coffee table, leading to ants through out! Debri on couches, on top of them feeling musty! So we literally got in, and had to find a vacuum to clean. Not a great start! The two twins were made into a king, we had to seperate them ourselves and scrounge for sheets. When Vacasa finally responded they tried to tell me it’s supposed to be a King. I then showed them the listing literally picturing two twins…Bikes are not taken care of. Flat tires when we got there, so unusable. 2 boogie boards. One had a rip so just collected water and air. Broken wagon handle. Chairs are crusty, like the handles and buckles would just rip when you tried to move them. Place just isn’t looked after thoroughly. For the price you think they’d be able to replace some basic amenities! It would have made a huge difference if there was a host readily available for these things. But the communication just isn’t there with this management company. Oh! Also the cleaning team arrived 15 mins before our check out time. Pulled all the way into the (already small) driveway! Just sat in their car and watched us load up. Awkward. Then another cleaning person pulled into the driveway as we are trying to pull out onto the busy hwy (still before check out time) just unnecessary chaos. It was weird.

We had the most amazing vacation. The house was so perfect for our needs. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room. The location can’t be beat. It was a 5 min walk to beach. A few min drive so a dozen other beaches. Food, coffee, shaved ice, grocery store and little shops right across the street and within a block or two. The view is so pretty. You can see waterfalls off the back deck and sometimes catch some rainbows too. So beautiful. I already want to plan another stay next summer!

Wonderful home, clean, with plently of spaces to sleep and hangout. Beautiful views of the waterfalls in the distance. Very nice being right by the shops and restaurants in Hanalei.

Great location in Hanalei. As stated, it's about a 10m walk to the beach. 3 bikes in various states of repair allowed for a quicker trip to town once you navigated the first stretch of street where there is not much room for bikes on the road. Pull cart with chairs and umbrellas were a nice touch. no snorkel gear when we stayed here. 1 of the 2 bogey boards was broken, but likely not the owner's fault. The house was 'loud'. Downstairs you definitely knew when someone was awake and moving around upstairs. 3rd bedroom upstairs had a funky bathroom setup with the toilet and sink literally in the shower. Views out the back towards the waterfalls were great, but slightly obscured by the growth of the trees in the yard.

The house was perfect for what we needed. Excellent location as we were right in the heart of Hanalei and so close to all coffee shops and shopping and restaurants. A quick walk to the beach or a bike ride. Buggy at the house made it easy to bring the beach chairs and umbrella to the beach as well. They have thought of everything.

Nestled right in the heart of Hanalei Bay on the enchanting island of Kauai, our stay was nothing short of remarkable. The location alone warrants praise, as being situated right in town afforded us unparalleled convenience and immersion into the local vibe.
The house itself exuded charm and character, boasting a unique and captivating design. However, what truly stole our hearts was the expansive back deck that offered breathtaking panoramic views of Hanalei's lush landscapes and azure waters. Many a morning and evening were spent lost in reverie, soaking in the beauty that surrounded us.
One of the standout features of our stay was the accessibility to Hanalei's vibrant downtown. With an array of restaurants within walking distance, we found ourselves indulging in delectable local fare without the hassle of driving. Additionally, the provision of bikes added a delightful touch, allowing for exploration of the area at our own leisurely pace.
Of course, no review of Hanalei would be complete without mentioning the omnipresent chorus of roosters. While the occasional noise from the nearby road was noticeable, it paled in comparison to the symphony of crowing roosters that is synonymous with island life. But hey, that's all part of the charm, and certainly not something unique to this particular accommodation.
In summary, our experience was nothing short of unforgettable. For anyone seeking a quintessential Hanalei experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

What a great week we had staying here to celebrate my wife's 50th! House is beautiful, amazing views, walk to everything in Hanalei! Has everything you would want for beach vacation waiting for you when you get there- chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, beach toys and even beach cruisers. Plus you get a concierge to help you plan all your adventures!

We were a party of 8 with teens. Perfect location to walk to shops, food and the beach. The house had everything you needed. Wagon to haul the items, snorkel gear and boards. We loved the location and the view of the waterfalls was priceless. We saw two rainbows from the balcony! House was perfect size and was very cozy! We would definitely stay here again! 5 stars.
