We had a great experience. The house was very accommodating for a larger group and management was responsive and helpful.

We visited this property for a birthday celebration, the house was easy to find and instructions for check-in were clear. It’s managed by a property management company, and they were easy to reach/access when needed. We did have one request to re-book a different property in their portfolio, which they were not willing to accommodate. Nonetheless, the house was clean and conveniently located for our island activities. The good:- Clean- Great location- Loaded with towels, toiletries, and sporting goods/chairs/umbrellas- Kitchen was full of all sorts of utensils and tools to succeed- Bedding was clean and presentable- The host worked with a local to find one of our parties wallets, for that we are grateful. The less good:- The primary bathroom had a super rusty sink basin, this should be changed out. I’m not sure why this bathroom was specifically omitted from photos.- There were bugs, we had a roach or two upon arrival — that’s to be expected in the wet season. - No real curtains, and cameras/floodlights that we could not turn off. At night, there is a floodlight that’s constantly active/turning on and gleaming into one of the bedrooms. Overall, the experience was good and what one should expect and we’d book again with this host!

Golly, what a gorgeous garden around the pool! Kids spent all the time they could swimming. Loved the stash of children’s books for nighttime. A TV in every room! Well equipped kitchen, especially oils, vinegars, syrup, spices and such. A queen bed en-suite is the only room downstairs, I couldn’t tell online where things were situated. Specious rooms worked GREAT for our family. SO many beach toys, coolers, snorkel fins .. our 6 year old grandson learned to snorkel with the child’s set (only one). Lanai just right size. So close to grocery store, gas, shopping. Extra bonuses bring near the Princeville golf course, art shows, yoga, do your research. Coffee pot and kerig, but no coffee grounds, that was a bummer. Good spot for north shore half day trips.

Home was amazing a little of outdated on furniture but well maintained, clean and fully stocked with amenities. Rental manager was so helpful and kind. Loved staying here. Would definitely rent again. I had trouble and check in because I didn't receive any info from any portal. Not sure if I was supposed to download a specific portal but VRBO didn't have this info for me.But like I said, Sofia the rental manager was helpful and attentive. Thank you for the great time that we spent here.

The house is in Princeville with access to small (often muddy) hikes to secluded beaches. The house has no heat nor air conditioning which was fine since the morning is 70 and the afternoon is 80. Our favorite beach was Pu’u Poa because of the snorkeling, access to the hotel’s bar and restaurant, and stair access to the beach. The downside is that there is limited parking close to the path entrance.

Staying at Hale Ohia was super easy, just what I want on vacation!! The property is gorgeous and the house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. And when a few things weren’t perfect (a shower drain was slow; a window screen didn’t quite fit) Sophia the property manager was out to address them immediately. The bathrooms are cosmetically ready for an update, but they function just fine. And the primary suite wet room is quite special! Overall it was a wonderful place to stay!

Our party of 10 had a wonderful 5-night stay: CLEAN – The house, the pool, and pool area were all very clean. No bugs or critters. COMFORTABLE – While we had a large group, because the house is well laid-out we all felt like we had space and privacy. Multiple deck areas are an added bonus. Beds are comfortable. QUIET – We never heard the neighbors during our visit. Th DINING SPACE– The outdoor dining table fits 10 comfortably as does the indoor table. The outdoor table is sensibly located near the grille and the indoor table near the kitchen. POOL AREA – We loved the many beautiful, tall, lush tropical plants surrounding the pool area which provided and extra level of privacy from the road and neighboring home. We visited in June and the pool temp was perfect. KITCHEN – The kitchen is large enough for group cooking. You’ll only find the basics but no coffee or anything else. LISTING ACCURACY – The listing and photos are accurate except now with ugraded washer/dryers. SOME SOME NEGATIVES – This is a super comfortable home but is showing a bit of its age and “lived in” feeling. For instance, one of the kitchen drawers was off its sliders. The master bedroom boasts a fantastic shower but steps to it should really have some safety strips. Oddly, there was no dustpan. IN SUM- This a wonderful home for a large group to gather. We certainly enjoyed it and hope your gathering does, too.

Lovely older home in Princeville. Plenty of space for a large family. Amenities like beach chairs and beach towels were appreciated. Overall experience was great, but two improvements to suggest: 1.) Home could use some updating - master bathroom needs to be re-tiled and dual sinks added. 2.) Pool was very cold - heater would have been nice.

We loved our time at this house. We stayed for a week and the place was spacious enough for 9 adults and 2 kids without feeling crowded. It was so nice to have access to a pool as well. We would definitely return.

We had a great time here. Only problem is a family member slipped on wet tile between pool and driveway. It is suggested you put nonslip coating on that tile area. Also there was missing smoke detector in loft bedroom

The house was amazing and had plenty of space for our group. The location could not have been better with being right next to Queen's Bath trail.
