This condo exceeded my expectations. Easy to cook in the well -supplied kitchen. Decent beds (bad pillows, but that's true anywhere). Nice linens/towels. Lots of useful extras like pool noodles, pool towels, board games, etc. The fact that the pool is directly outside the condo made it comfortable to watch our kids without having to be in the pool enclosure. Sunsets on the beach every night with a pleasant grassy walk from the porch to the beach was really a highlight. This beach isn't really swimmable. It's shallow and dangerously rocky, even while wearing shoes. However, there are turtles galore in there. You only get to see them like their heads out to breathe. They don't come on shore. But knowing they're there is lovely. If I stayed in Kihei again, I wouldn't bother to look for any other place but here.

The condo was clean, in a great location and was equipped with everything we needed. Check in and out was easy and the directions clear. The only negative thing I would say is that the pillows are pretty sad. Definitely not comfortable and we’re pretty flat and old.

This accommodation is very quiet. We had the pool to ourselves nearly every day. Staff was very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for things to do especially for day of check out since we had 9 hours to kill!
It was nice that the unit had air conditioning but on our second to last day the living room unit started leaking large amounts of water. We called to report it and they sent someone to check it out within a few hours but they weren’t able to fix it. It still worked but we had to use all our towels to soak up the water :(. There was also gecko poop all in the windows and a few droppings along the baseboards. We never actually saw any sort of animal in our place though.
The location was ok. I’ve stayed in Kihei before further down the road and there is much more in walking distance so I would recommend a car if staying here!

We stay for a week in Kihei. The property is showing some west and tear but was fully stocked with all the essentials. Being next to the pool was very convenient and the park and beach right out the door was awesome. Overall a very nice place to stay!

We had a wonderful day in Kihei. This condo is located in a safe and convenient location. We enjoyed our morning walk along the beach where we saw turtles and whales in the distance. The pool is clean and offered the kids a place to swim while waiting to leave for the daily adventure. The condo is clean and spacious and worked perfectly for our family of 5. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Comfortable and clean in a great location - near everything we wanted to experience. We made great use of the beach chairs, coolers and snorkel gear. Breakfasts and evening cocktails on the lanai were the highlight of our week.

The location is terrific. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets etc. And the park, beach and pool are steps from the porch. The condo itself is clean but is showing some signs of age, minor point that prompted the 4 stars intead of 5. The customer service communication with Maui Rentals was excellent. The central location is perfect for day tripping to all parts of the island. We recommend it!

The stay was not a “vacation “ but more of a retreat of mental health. The condo met all expectations steps from lanai to pool and then very short walk to beach. Sunsets, kite surfers great view of all

I needed this trip to rest from chemo treatments and to prepare for my surgery. Hawaii is my favorite place and it literally is just what the doctor ordered!
My stay at Leinaala was the perfect home away from home. Everything was perfect and the location... priceless! When I return, I will not hesitate to book the same unit because it was perfect for my needs. I absolutely loved it!

No issues and as advertised on the small beach area about 100yrds away in Waipuilani Beach Park. Small beach but there's other larger ones nearby. Nothing super fancy in the unit but clean & sleeps 4 comfortably with portable AC units for the bedrooms. *Not the units fault*, but sidewalks nearby are non-existent, so be sure you have a rental car to get around (spot is tight for a medium SUV, so go small). Walking on S Kihei Rd is not really an option, or just be careful.
Another nice touch was the fact that the unit had beach chairs, towels, and coolers--Helpful when we ended up going down the road to other beaches most days.

We had the pleasure of renting this condo for a week and brought along our 2 teens. While we were a bit disappointed by the age of the unit when we first arrived (it looked and felt much older inside than pictured), as the week went by we grew to really appreciate the ease of access to get to different parts of the island and beautiful spot. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely hard and could definitely use a softer mattress or at least a mattress pad. But having the ocean, pool and large grass field right outside the door, and the beautiful, quiet grounds was awesome. The condo was stocked with beach towels, some beach toys, and plenty of cooking utensils. You do have to get your own shower toiletries as there wasn't enough for the 4 of us for the week which was a bit annoying. However, overall, we were very happy with this condo and location! The beach was a bit narrow, but depending on the tides has some sandy areas - although it was quite rocky in the water, so bring water shoes! The cooolest part of the beach was that we got to see multiple sea turtles!As a side note, we happened to be there when the fires hit in Lahaina. Many locals were very happy to have tourists still visiting as tourism is their primary income, so if you're thinking about going to Maui - DO IT!

We had a great time staying the week here. The condo was very clean, well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, spices, beach towels, coolers, chairs, and some toys, and had a convenient location. The ocean views and sunsets were beautiful and we loved being able to walk straight out to the pool and ocean, and play in the large grass area. We got to see several sea turtles on the beach too!
At first, we were a bit disappointed upon walking in and realizing that the place was much older inside than we realized from the pictures, but over the week, it grew on us and we came to love the peace, quiet and location. It was easy to get to different places from there and the condo maintenance really cares about keeping the grounds nice and clean. The pool was kept very clean, even with debris flying in from high winds and ash from the fires, and it was so relaxing being able to come and go from it or the ocean as we pleased with a minimal walk. The AC definitely helped for the hot summer nights too!
The major improvement we would have liked is a softer bed in the master bedroom. The bed is rock hard - so if you like hard beds then you'll be happy, but for us, we definitely would have slept a lot better had there been a softer bed. (I even went to some nearby shops to try to find a mattress topper). Also, a larger supply of shampoo and bath soap for the week would have been a nice added touch!
Overall, I'd highly recommend this condo, especially for families!

We stayed just over a week at Leinaala Oceanfront #100. The communication prior to our arrival was great and had lots of detailed instructions which we greatly appreciated. Kihei is a wonderful section of Maui, roughly about 20 -25 mins from the airport. The condo complex is on a small driveway and you have to drive all the way to the end to actually see it. The unit and the complex itself is in great condition. Steven who is the resident manager has done an amazing job with the upkeep and maintenance. We didn't encounter any issues. There was a designated parking spot for us which we used throughout our stay. The unit is as described and very comfortable for a family of 4 . The kitchen was very well stocked and we didn't feel anything was lacking. Maui has wonderful trade winds blowing even when it gets warm and its sufficient to keep you comfortable but our kids really appreciated the AC units in the apartment. There's a nice pool right outside the sitting area and walking a few 100 meters is a very beautiful , shaded and almost secluded beach. Its not great for swimming due to rocks / coral but its a wonderful spot to just sit and take in the views. We even had several turtles swim up and lounge around right next to us. Be careful not to disturb or touch the turtles ( State Law) . There are several bars and restaurants close to the apartment complex. South shore Tikki lounge, Nalu's grill, Kihei Cafe to name a few. We took surf lessons at Maui wave riders which was an amazing experience for the kids and is located less than a mile from the condo. There are plenty of swimming beaches near the area. The most gorgeous one was Makena beach. Blown away by how beautiful Maui is and how much there is to see and do. Highly recommend doing the hikes atop mount Haleakala , road to Hana and Iao valley monument. We can't wait to comeback !!!

We absolutely loved our stay in our rental. Everything was exactly as shown on the site. It was the perfect location as it was in the middle of all the excursions that we wanted to do while in Maui. We loved waking up every morning and able to see the ocean from our lanai. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We look forward to coming back to your beautiful island to see the whales when they are back again and would love to stay at this place again!!

Steps to the not-crowded beach. Unit is on ground floor right in front of the pool and a huge Maui County grassy area that leads directly to the beach. Amazing location. Unit was squeaky clean, beds super comfortable and fully air conditioned with powerful room AC units in each bedroom and a window unit that cools the rest of the place. Pool was very well maintained and cleaned daily. Complex manager super nice as was one of the permanent residents we met while staying there. Quiet and small
Complex with relaxing vibe. Convenient shared coin laundry room steps from the unit’s front door. Well stocked unit with clean towels, lawn chairs, etc. drip coffee maker so you will need ground coffee or beans (there is a bean grinder) - coffee VERY IMPORTANT to us Seattlites (haha). Weakest feature is the bathroom which is clean but very small and has a sink with several cracks (it is still functional). Great Kihei shops and restaurants 0.2 miles away although difficult to walk to due to lack of sidewalks on busy S Kihei Road. We had a maintenance issue while there and property management responded immediately and fixed it right away (within two or so hours). Overall this place is a super find given the location, vibe and customer service! We will seek to stay here if we come back to Maui!

Great property with awesome views of the mountains and sunsets! Easily accessible location on first floor and management was very clear and communicated well. Given basic necessities like towels and detergent. Easy access to pool and beach as well as the town of Kihei. Pull out sofa is comfortable and plenty of room to move around within condo. Had a great time with my friends and would definitely stay again.

The location is great. Walk from the sliding patio doors directly to the beach - no need to cross the street.
Also, various restaurants and shops are 1/2 mile away.
Easy parking spot.
Condo itself is neat and tidy. There are ceiling fans that need to be on 24/7 (even in February) because the air in the unit is stuffy. We didn’t turn on the air conditioning - we just opened all the windows and kept the fans going (but stuffy at night with patio door closed).

We were staying closer to Keawakapu Beach previously but could not extend our stay and had to move. At first I guess we were disappointed as it wasn't as lively as our first place and seemed a little more plain.
However, after a couple days we way preferred it. It was clean and very spacious. It was well stocked (complete with spices) , lawn chairs coolers, etc. It had an amazing sunshade that electronically lowered for privacy and to block the sun. The AC was a welcome edition as we didn't have it at the other place and we were paying about 1/2 the price too.
The location was better for us. We could walk easier for coffee or lunch. 3 grocery stores close by. We're pickle-ballers so the court right there was awesome for us.
It's blended complex and seems to be more resident owners than vacationers. It was modest, but very quiet and relaxed which we appreciated more every day.
We'd come back to this condo over the other for the value. But TBH, even if the prices were the same we'd probably still chose this one because of the space. We only stayed 4 days, but if I was staying long term this is a perfect place to enjoy the sun and fun of Hawaii and a little more privacy and resort vibe from the busy-ness of other locations.
