BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Everything we needed for a rejuvenating vacation!
Breathtaking view of crystal clear ocean and two neighbor islands- we could even see turtles swimming under the waves from the balcony.

The overall facilities were clean and well taken care. The Mahana 813 was incredible. We especially liked that the little details were thought of; like additional beach chairs, snorkel equipment and an evening cocktail. It was a great weekend.

This studio is perfect for a couple. The view is incredible! We saw whales and turtles and amazing sunsets right from the balcony. The kitchen was stocked with all the essential cookware, all the descriptions and photos in the listing were accurate. If we are lucky enough to come back, we will stay here again!

The condo was amazing! There was s small issue checking in, but the front desk and condo owners resolved it. We wish there was an another restaurant near the property on the beach side. We ate at Duke’s twice. Although under reconstruction, we hardly heard any noise due to the beautiful ocean waves off our balcony. Parking was a little tricky as the contractors take up a lot. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We loved the nearly private beach! The whales were spectacular off the balcony! We would definitely stay at a Mahana again and recommend it to others.
