Royal Kahana 1010 is a highly desirable oceanfront corner unit that has recently been refreshed with new furniture and decor. This unit is a two-bedroom, two and half-bath oceanfront corner wrap-around lanai unit located only a stone's throw from the ocean. The 40-foot wrap-around lanai provides sweeping panoramic views south to the Kaanapali Beach Resort and north to Kapalua with its fabulous golf courses and restaurants. The neighboring islands of Lanai and Molokai are only miles across the channel and add a dynamic dimension to the beautiful scenery. You fall asleep and walk up every day to the sound of the ocean outside your window.

The 10th-floor condo is ideally situated on the quiet side of the building. The wrap-around lanai provides sunny areas and shaded corners where one can escape the tropical sun if so desired. From the west-facing lanai and spacious interior, unobscured ocean views are spectacular with. We supply binoculars for you to enjoy winter Whale season.
Two separate bedroom suites provide quiet privacy for a family or two couples and for larger groups the queen size sleeper sofa allows this condo to comfortably sleep up to six guests. The master suite features a King Sealy Posturepedic mattress, a flat-screen tv, and a separate sliding door to the lanai - perfect for those wishing to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves rolling in. The guest bedroom also has a tv and two XL twins that convert into a King depending on your needs. Each en suite bathroom and the powder room adjacent to the foyer provide a perfect solution for guests staying in the living room - a place for their items. A hairdryer is provided in each bathroom for your convenience.
The condo is equipped with two new central air conditioning units that were installed for zoned cooling in the bedrooms and main living areas. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and tile flooring. It is fully stocked with everything one would need for cooking, plus table service for 6, a regular coffee maker and a French press, blender, toaster, and ice maker in the refrigerator. The spacious living area is furnished with new furniture, a 75" flat-screen tv, and free Wi-Fi.
The Royal Kahana Resort is the perfect setting for a beautiful, relaxing vacation with its heated pool with many palapas for shade on the sundeck, four gas BBQ's, beautifully landscaped grounds, ping pong tables, shuffleboard, and a fully-equipped fitness center. A full-service activity center with highly experienced personnel is conveniently located in the lobby to assist with planning and booking all of your vacation excursions on Maui and the neighboring islands.
The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes and swells that influence the beach & physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a tremendous amount of sand that gradually returns in spring and summer. This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach—the front desk posts daily whether there is beach access or not.

*Resort Notice: A resort-wide spalling repair is underway, and they're working on various lanais around the resort until at least July 2024. And what an added bonus they don’t request you do a list of chores before checking out.

We loved our stay at this property. The views were spectacular! The unit was well-appointed and so lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative and responsive. We'll definitely book again for our next stay on Maui! (My only suggestion--and it's minor--is to get a different mattress in the Master bedroom. It was a little hard for our taste but others may appreciate that.) Thank you for an absolutely fantastic experience! Mahalo! 🌺

We spent 4 nights - family of five Two adults and children ages 17-20 The condo was exactly as pictures showed - we loved it The lanai was amazing - sitting at high table for coffee on lounge chair for reading or relaxing at end of day in regular chairs - and sunsets were beautiful We did not cook but there seemed everything you needed if you preferred The deforms were spacious - and bed comfortable we used the pull out as the third bed 2 1/2 baths were great for group our size There were supplies for beach if needed - chairs and umbrellas The facility had a pool and could get to beach ( not hard to climb over sand bags ) Location was convenient for excursions we did - snorkel boat ride , road to Hana, sunset at Haleakala ,luau

Room is very spacious so you can spread out. Two couple can easily stay there. Not much to do onsight - small pool; not much of a beech. But the room is great. Huge patio overlooking ocean. Beds comfortable. Hard to get AC much below about 69 but it wasn't horrible. Parking can be tight at night, but we always found a way. Convenient to elevator. Huge TV's if you like that. Kitchen had plenty of items. Extra half bath was nice. Would recommend. Quiet also.

We could see whales and sea turtles from our balcony! Loved the extra half bathroom. The condo had everything we needed for our stay including beach towels, sand toys, lots of beach chairs, and coolers. The only downside is the beach area in front of the building. There are sand bags to prevent erosion of the beach that you have to climb over to access the beach. There is a sign that says beach access is closed, but it is pretty much at your own risk to climb over the sandbags. We also had an small issue with the beds in the 2nd bedroom not set up as twins initially (per our request). But I notified the property management company, and they came out the next morning to separate the beds. So the issue was resolved quickly. Overall a great stay and I hope to come back some day!

Overall we loved this unit. The view was amazing. Observed a large variety of marine life. The management team were very nice and helpful. Our daughter and son-in-law raved about Augie’s assistance with their paddle boards during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The unit was quiet. The kitchen had every amenity you could possibly need. The only negatives would be the cleanliness of our unit on arrival. The kitchen counters had a lot of crumbs from the previous occupants and had to be entirely wiped down. The bathroom cupboards have quite a buildup of dust on the edges that wouldn’t take very long to clean. I looked everywhere in the unit for a broom and dustpan, but never found one. You also have many glass topped surfaces but I couldn’t find glass cleaner. I don’t like streaks. One last thing would be to let renters know that the beach outside the resort is closed and shored up with huge bags. Management told us to go ahead and use the beach. Very difficult to maneuver for a 70 yo woman who recently had foot surgery. 90% of these negatives are easy fixes. Overall our stay was fantastic and I would recommend your unit. Mahalo.

Clean condo, very roomy, nice grounds, friendly workers, nice pool. The lanai is amazing, and you will see lots of sea turtles and rainbows as you drink your morning coffee. I would have given 5 stars, but there isn't a beach close to the property unless you want to climb over sandbags.

The condo had everything we needed plus more. Full kitchen, extra towels, etc. The condo was very clean and well kept. Beautiful ocean views and right on the beach. Staff was very nice and professional. I loved everything about this place. It is close to shopping and dining and not far from downtown Lahaina. I would recommend this place and hope to come back!

We loved the wrap around lanai of this 10th floor property. Lots of windows and 2 sliding glass doors showed off amazing views. It was winter, so there were many whales to watch. Bring your binoculars! Plus turtles near the shore. We loved constantly hearing the ocean waves. The unit was very clean. The kitchen well stocked with nice knives and decent pans for eggs. The AC in the entire building is out and they are waiting for a part, but it was only warm in the late afternoons. There isn't much beach on/near the property, but most everyone has a rental car to go exploring anyway. The staff working on the main floor seemed helpful and friendly.

A lovely quiet property very well equipped with whatever you need that has a fantastic view of the ocean. Several small cafes and stores within short walking distance. Only a view quick miles to Kaanapali Beach and Old Lahaina Town for more eating, shopping, beaches and tours! We would definitely stay here again!

Older concrete walls ensure a peaceful getaway in this great 10th floor condo. Host is responsive and attentive to detail. We didn't miss a lack of A/C (cooling unit destroyed in December storms) in this west facing unit never directly in the sun this time of year. We plan to go back, that's for sure.

The property was awesome. Going to Maui in January is a perfect time for whale watching. We saw numerous whales each day from the condos lanai. The oceans views from the condo were amazing. Short walk to a nice beach. Could not have ask for a better property.
