The place is very cozy. It’s furnished with all of the cooking needs, plates, knives, glasses etc. Everything as far as appliances was working. Very convenient to shopping.

We had a great stay here for the second half of our trip to Maui for a family wedding. It was nice to have some more space to hang out in and a kitchen for us to cook meals after spending the first half of the trip in a resort and eating out every day. The property manager was quick to reply to a couple questions we had about the TV remote and the propane for the BBQ. The unit was a bit dark as it’s surrounded by trees, but the location was good and was nearby where other family was staying. It was a great space for our 3 kids (ages 2-7), us, and my parents. The beach toys, chairs, and umbrella came in handy!

We got mixed feelings about this condo. We loved the location. It was very spacious. Pool was perfect for the kids. But we had some issues with the linens. We literally only had 2 cotton blankets over two beds. While there were some extra sheets and plenty of pillowcases, the were no additional blankets at all for my kids who were sleeping on the two sleeper sofas in the living room. I bet if I asked, the owner would have supplied some, but we were there only for few days and didn’t want to bother. So my kids just slept under our personal beach towels. Each of the rooms had separate ACs, which was nice, but they were noisy. Kitchen was beautiful with everything that we needed. There were tons of beach/pool extras. Garden area was gorgeous. I truly enjoyed quiet mornings outside watching sunrise, reading, and birdwatching. We still loved our time in Maui, but would probably not stay in this particular condo again.

It was a perfect place to stay!! My one dissatisfaction was the floors were very dirty and sticky in places. The door jams are brown from peoples hands and not wiped down. You requested we take our shoes off while inside but our feet were then black on the bottom due to dirty floors. We had zero blankets for the pullout bed. I emailed you and no response. I had to go buy two blankets for us. We were having to wash towels everyday as there were only 3 wash cloths and no wash rag for the dishes. This was quite inconvenient. There was only one dish towel as well. Our neighbor was constantly smoking next to us and it blew right to us. ?? We thought smoking was not allowed. The place is in a great location. Deer visited us at night on the patio. It is very peaceful.

The property is in a nice and quiet area. I love how many spices and seasoning were in the kitchen (since they are expensive on the island) and the abundance of kitchen cookware and utensils since we like to cook on vacation too.

Aloha All, our stay was great. The location was perfect! The outside lanais were dirty. The unit was clean and simple. View was beautifully designed with lush landscape. All in all we would rate this as as 9.5 out of 10.

The lanai opens up to a beautiful backyard and provides a nice space for rinsing/airing out/drying clothes and equipment. The pool area was clean and quiet, nice place to relax with the kids. This is a condo located in a lovely complex. The property management company was very responsive to questions - helpful, prompt.
However, it looks very little like the photos. It’s dark, has NO ocean view (unless you count stepping outside to see it as a view) and is less than 100’ from a road and trucking company that starts work at 6:30am. The place was fairly buggy, spiders/webs prevalent outside at entryway and in back near lanai- assume that is a landscaping issue. A/C is window units - not split or central, and works fairly well. Kitchen well stocked with spices, plastic wrap, containers with lids. Also well stocked with old, cheap pots and pans, silverware and dull knives. Toaster oven is garbage - we bought a toaster at Target to use!! Towels are OLD and stained.
This place needs someone to put $750 into it - get some new towels, silverware, pots, knives and a toaster oven for heavens sake!! Spend the money on a decent coffee pot - this one doesn’t even keep the time properly!
Location is good, but needs so much updating to make it worth the money. We’ve stayed on the islands for long time periods in the past 5 years more than once. This was easily the most undesirable place we’ve stayed. Certainly a “buyer beware” rental.

Really nice two bedroom condo, good location with access to golf courses, restaurants and shops. Great property with a lovely private patio space. Well appointed with amenities. Gorgeous, lush landscaping on condo property. Convenient access to nice shopping and restaurants. Management easy to communicate with and helpful. Only a few little issues. Couldn't get the pool key to work. Management gave me the combination code to pool but missed a day of pool use. Binder in condo needs updating. Walls rather thin--can hear neighbors but they were respectful. Hot water needs to be turned to a hotter setting. Shower barely above warm.

Overall a very nice place. Kitchen amenities are updated, and worked well. Good location, with beaches, and shopping nearby. We did find the odd bug, but we spoke with a local family in the complex when at the pool, and they explained this is just a common occurrence in Maui. We would stay again.

Great place for my family of six to stay comfortably. 3 min drive to our favorite beach and offered peace and quiet at night. Management promotly responded to questions and concerns. Will definitely try to book this unit again.

Wailea Ekolu Village was a great experience for our 10 days stay! The receptionist was very communicative and the descriptions are very straightforward and clear for the stay. We had everything we needed for our trip beach. The stay does provide a cooler, beach chair, beach umbrella, a small surfboard which we had fun during our trip beach. the furniture and couches are in well condition. The kitchen, bedroom and the bathroom are in great condition as well. However, we found some cockroaches and bugs in the kitchen and bathroom. Not sure if that is normal in Hawaii but those are the cons. The rental stay also included pots, pans and cups. It has almost everything you need as if you were home. The place is safe. There are security with their golf cars driving around so that make the place safe. However, no noise are allowed after 10pm so please be mindful if you are planning to party, there are tiki lounge nearby the area. Makena State Park and Waliea beach are just 10 min of drive there are also mall outlet nearby Waliea beach and local restaurants nearby so our stay rental was really ideal of our stay. Even the receptionist allowed to stay few extra hours after checkout due to our flight departing at night time. Huge props for that. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and never got tired of the views from there. I would definitely repeat and book again for this spot! Highly recommend!

I would not recommend staying here or will I return to this property. It is for a number of reasons and not one major. Overall many little things that made the property uninviting. The walls are thin and all noises can be heard including the stampede above. The doors have panels/shutters and light comes in from outside lights at night when in bed and then in morning the blinds allow all light in. The other bedroom is quite dark. The beds are uncomfortable as are the couches. It was lacking in zip locks and the trash sacks did not fit the cans. Not set up for recycling. Smokers galore outside meaning every time we sat outside a neighbor would be smoking. Bugs inside and outside more than normal. We stay in Hawaii yearly and this property had more bugs than any other we have stayed inside and out. Pros: Electronics were nice and kitchen remodeled with all utensils, herbs and spices, blenders, toaster, etc. Everything was functionable. Fans. There are boogie boards and chairs on outside patio, out of bedroom that we did not find until later in stay. Our instructions said in the closet. Enough towels and laundry detergents. Location of property is why we choose it on short notice. But being on bottom level is not a pro. Outdoor space is secluded with Hawaiian landscaping but does not offer much light into property at anytime of day, late afternoon is best for lighting. Had to shake the cushions of the seats outside before sitting each time to get rid of the ants. Overall this property just needs some extra TLC.

The condo was exactly as described. There was everything that we needed including beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels. The property manager was excellent. There was great communication.
I would like to give the stay 5 stars but we all had issues with the noise around us. There is a road approximately 75 feet from our 1st floor condo. It did not seem like a road with a lot of traffic but it was very noisy starting about 6:30 every morning. We could not leave the windows open at night because it was so bothersome in the morning. We also had the unfortunate experience to have VERY noisy neighbors upstairs. They had 4 small children and at 4:30 every morning, there was running, jumping, and screaming. We called the property manager and he was sympathetic but could do nothing but to notify the Wailea Ekolu manager. There is not good sound proofing between the floors and we could hear every loud footstep. I would recommend getting a 2ed floor condo and one down the hill in a quieter area.

There were too many artificial air smells when we walked in the door. The outside patio was not clean and couldn’t sit outside to enjoy the foliage. There were quite a few bugs. There were some broken things - kitchen drawer, refrigerator shelf. The washing machine is very small and we were asked to wash our sheets and towels before we left. The sheets weren’t clean - mascara on the pillow case, I don’t know what was on the sheets. It looks pretty but felt very tired and in need of a very deep clean.

My wife and I as well as our daughter and son in law enjoyed our recent vacation in this rental property. This condo is within walking distance of stunningly beautiful Wailea beaches, shopping and restaurants. The condo complex grounds are lush with tropical trees and flowers. The condo was comfortable and quiet. There were a few maintenance issues due to recent storms in the area but the property management company was extremely responsive and dealt with our concerns. We would book here again.
