We enjoyed our stay at Hale Kamaole! Across the street is a large lawn area for viewing the sunset, and I finally saw (after years of looking from sailboats) the "green flash" which is more of a green dot. The beach is just beyond this lawn including areas for snorkeling and a life guard. Grocery stores, Foodland and Safeway, are a short drive. Kitchen has all the necessities, and the deck closet had snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and children's beach toys. It would be helpful to have instructions on operating the TV. Wifi does not reach the pool. But these last 2 are minor inconveniences in the overall experience.

This was the excellent place to experience the aloha spirit. The complex was nicely landscaped. The apartment was perfect, well furnished and very clean. Powerful a/c in the bedroom. Lots of beach accessories, towels and chairs. The location is within close proximity to many shops and restaurants. Kam III is right across the street. We will definitely stay here again when we return. Definitely worth the price. I would recommend staying here. Mahalo to the owners.

Beautiful location - right across from a gorgeous beach. many other great beaches a short walk away.groceries within walking distance, too. Across the street from a great beach/park. Fully stocked for fun with boogey boards and other beach toys. The kitchen comes with dishes and tools for home cooking. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Hale Kamaole a number of times. We like the location and the grounds are lovely. Unit 219 was great. It was clean and very nicely appointed. It was in better shape than some of the other units. We were only in unit 219 for 3 nights before joining other family members in unit 264 ( a larger 2 bedroom unit) for the duration of our stay. The difference was notable with unit 264 much in need of some upgrades and care. Unit 219 was a much better deal. The resort itself is a nice place to go, now if they could get all their condo owners to keep it so.

Over all a very nice break from 6 feet of snow- however-There was virtually no view of the ocean (all the times we’ve stayed at Hale Kamaole the view has been outstanding).The sheets were threadbare - mattress was greatRowdy children taking over pools was irritating - if the sign says no Marco Polo - there should be someone who can take care of this

This was our second time at Hale Kamaole, but in another condo this time. It was beautiful with everything you needed. The vacuum cleener however have seen better days and ought to be replaced (you do a lot of vacuuming because of all the sand, so therefore it would be great with a new one). Other than that, we couldn't be more satisfied with the stay.

The location and amenities were terrific. The unit is walking distance to great beaches and restaurants. It was unusually warm, 90+ degrees, during our August stay. The window AC unit in the bedroom was overwhelmed. The living and kitchen area were too warm to be comfortable.

We always stay in Haiku, but this was a trip where our adult daughters and their families were coming. We couldn’t have found a more perfect complex to stay.Our unit was the best of the 3 we rented. It is beautifully inside with a gorgeous balcony view of the extensive grass area AND a peak of the ocean. It was great to walk across the street and go to the beach and watch the sunset.Highly recommend unit 219
