We stayed in Hale Kamaole before so we decided to come back. This was one of the few units available for our dates. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Similar to another unit, this lanai was clean, cozy, equipped with beach and kitchen supplies. The view of the ocean and sunsets was incredible. Nothing to complain about!

Everything was as described. One of the best we’ve experienced for vacation rentals and we travel a lot. What went over the top for me was a fresh stick of butter in the butter dish! It’s Costco brand so I doubt that it was leftover from previous renters.The kitchen is well stocked with olive oil, spices and good quality cooking utensil. Laundry pods and dishwashing detergent are provided. Lots of toys in the outside closet including tennis racquets! The condo is on the second floor so we could hear/feel walking noises upstairs at times.

Rented the condo for a week and found it to be functional, spotless, and as advertised. We loved the lanai, and the a/c worked great for good restful sleeping. The location across the street from Kamaole 3 beach is incredible; we could just walk across the street for sunset viewing and beach lounging. If it's calm, there's also good snorkeling right there too.

This was our 4th time staying in the Hale Kamaole property, we love the location! The grounds are very well kept and the management is friendly and helpful. It was the 1st time in unit 241 and our 1st time on the second floor. We enjoyed watching out for whales and seeing the sunsets from the lanai. The unit is very comfortable, updated, clean and well appointed. Everything was great! I would return to this unit and recommend Hale Kamaole to friends.If you are there during whale season, whale watching with Redline is a must, they leave from the Kihei boat ramp almost across the street from the property. Also, we rented E bikes from 808 rentals just up the street, riding to La Perouse Bay was so fun!

We have stayed here off and on since 1986 in various units both 1 and 2 bedrooms. Both our daughters got married here. It has a special place in our hearts. This time was no different. Loved 241. Nice up grades. Well equiped. Lovely view of ocean.

This unit was perfect for our family of 4. The condo is nicely renovated and has excellent amenities. Beach chairs, umbrellas for your use. The kitchen was stocked with lots of appliances which made eating in easy. We enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai & it had a nice view of the ocean. Access was easy & check in and out was a breeze. Having a late flight back it would be nice to have the option of a later checkout. Overall we had an excellent experience and would book this unit again.

Have stayed in this condo every Winter since 1999. Love the location. Excellent view of the ocean and the grounds. Condo is nice. Could use a few more kitchen pots and pans and more beach towels. Will be moving to a condo of our own next year so this unit will be available for new renters. Grab it quick as it is a prime location!

When I originally booked online, I selected a different unit and received a confirmation. Then I booked my flights. Within a short while (1 day), I was contacted by the Management company and told that the unit I wanted was not available due to an error with their online booking and was told I would have to choose another unit. I was extremely disappointed as I was now locked into a flight schedule. I was able to book unit 241 which was not nearly as nice as the one I first selected. Unit 241 did have a lovely view especially for sunsets. The furniture is somewhat older and the mattress cover was plastic and cotton - not at all hygienic. There was a blanket in the closet which was dirty and desperately needed to be washed (which I did). A/C unit was very noisy (only one in the unit) and also had to sleep with the fans on (take ear plugs with you). The fridge fan could do with a look at as it was squeaky. At night the complex is extremely quiet with just a few people visiting on their patios and not at all disruptive. Beach access is great as was the closeness of a variety of restaurants. Lots of parking available. Grounds beautifully kept. I rated the management co low only due to the online booking disaster. I met the management team while I was there and they were very pleasant.
