We had an amazing time at the condo. It was a perfect location with the beach right out front. The sunsets were beautiful & the beach was never crowded. It's not a good snorkeling beach but we were fine with that. You can walk out very far in the water and still only be waist deep in the water. We saw multiple sea turtles up close everyday & even saw two manta rays right by the shore. It was nice that they have beach chairs, towels, a beach cart, beach toys (if you had kids with you). We used this stuff everyday. It was our first time staying in Kihei & we'll definitely be back.

I don’t want to be all negative I stayed in this same building (different unit) 2 years ago and had no problems. The property manager was super helpful and communicative and I really appreciated her. But there were roaches EVERYWHERE I get that it’s Maui and tropical but a roach burrowed a hole in the toilet paper and I thought it was just a spot until my son smashed it and its guts smeared. The first day I only saw a few dead ones and thought oh they must have just sprayed but the second day the neighbors had workers (we though pest control) And that night we saw tons my niece came in screaming that they were in the bathroom when she went to use it. I turned on the lights and literally 5/6 scattered. Went to look for bug spray under the kitchen sink and 10-12 scattered. Spent $40 at Walmart for spray and new toothbrushes because yes they scurried across ours on the counter. Rentals Maui sent someone over the very next day to spray/ do traps but that night we still had them in the hall running under floorboards and under the sink the kids wouldn’t sleep on the pullout It was a rough couple of days. Very thankful they moved us so grateful for the property managers it was hard to give up the view but I was so paranoid about taking roaches home in my suitcase.
It was my 4th time to Maui I’ve never experienced this!
I know a lot of people complained about the parking we rented a Jeep Wrangler sometimes I had to pullout so the passenger could get in but it was nothing too crazy.

This is our third time staying at a Rentals Maui property in Leinaala, our first time staying in this unit. The sunset and ocean views are to die for. The unit was well equipped and clean and the couch and king bed both very comfortable. When we checked in initially there were a few tiny roaches in both the bathroom and the kitchen. We have never seen a single bug at the other Leinaala units we've stayed in. The unit itself was very clean so we assume these were from the last tenants. The parking lot was being repaved while we were there so we were told to switch parking spaces a few times by Rentals Maui then by the property manager. The only communication oversight was that the pool closed due to a "broken pump" that we were only informed of by a sign on the pool gate. It would've been nice to receive an email or text from Rentals Maui with that information so we could plan our last days accordingly. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, this complex is so endearing, has a great location, and Rentals Maui makes the process very smooth. We will be back!

The property was perfect for our anniversary getaway. The beach and the views were amazing. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach and watching the windsurfers at sunset. The neighborhood has so many great places to check out and explore and it is central to many activities we had on our list. The condo had everything you could need for daily adventures- the owners have really thought through things well- from beach gear, to binoculars, to reusable shopping bags and everything in between. One thing we really appreciated is that the property is smaller and not a big high rise- so it is much less crowded and more secluded feeling than other places. We highly recommend!

Condo was clean and nicely decorated with an unobstructed view of the ocean. There is an elevator however we just used the stairs. Parking spot is a bit tight, so if you had a big rig, may take some adjusting between the lines and the two cars parked next to you. We had a full size Nissan Altima. Not really sure where you can park on the street if needed. Other than that, Maui Rentals (Tony) was very supportive when we accidentally locked the screen door so locked ourselves out. Fortunately the Condo Office had a key (don’t lock the screen door). Didn’t hear much slamming of the doors as one or so mentioned, nor others talking other than when sitting outside on the lanai, but if you are a light sleeper you may hear flip flops running down the stairs. Pickleball didn’t start until 8:00 am and really was not bothered by it, could hardly hear amongst the ocean waves and some wind. Walking to restaurants/ shops ~15 minute walk. There is a side street which would be safer than walking S Kihei Rd (walk towards the park parking lot) and/or catch an Uber. Overall, great spot, would recommend! Mahalo!

Exceeded our expectations. Unit was clean with modern decor, fronting a public park that provided unobstructed views of ocean and West Maui mountains. Balcony is fully walled, offering 100% privacy wrt neighbors next door/above/below. Numerous accessories provided inside (kitchen utensils) and out (beach toys). Two wifi access points mean no weak signals. Finally.... the secure screen door means you can get an amazing, continuous cross-breeze throughout. Heaven!

The view from the patio was incredible and the place was very cute and clean. While we had a parking spot guaranteed, the spot was a little small for the car we had rented and it was difficult to get in. Inside the room, the AC was nice, it does make a noise at night however.

Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. Conveniently located in Kihei with lots of beaches, parks, and food near by. The view off the relaxing balcony is absolutely GORGEOUS. The bed is ridiculously comfortable. Ac was great and loved that they had lots of beach equipment and toys. Check in and out was a breeze. Thanks for the fantastic stay.

The condo was a great lil spot for our honeymoon. Very clean, Mickey decorated. AC and fans to help keep the place cool although we preferred just having the slider open to the lanai to let the fresh air in and listen to the ocean waves. Short walk to the beach. Everything you need to cook, make coffee, bed was comfy, all we needed was supplies. Boogie boards, beach chairs etc were appreciated. Neighbors staying in unit next door were very loud very early in the morning but that’s nothing to do with this unit. They just didn’t have a filter in their voices at 6am lol. Would stay here again in a heart beat. On-site manager was very polite and even gave us freshly picked papaya and checked to see how we were doing.

The rental was wonderful for our extended family vacation. We stayed in 5 units for every family group and we ALL loved it! The property was beautiful, steps from the beach and green space. Our unit included boogie boards, which the kids loved. We loved watching the sunset every night from the lanai, or from the walk on the beach. Leaving the property to get onto the main Kihei road is tricky because of where the entrance wall is located, it's hard to see around. But drivers here are patient and kind.

Wow. What an amazing property. My husband and I only stayed here 3 nights, but could’ve moved in! I truly felt like someone’s house guest. The property and accommodations were amazing. All newly renovated with a very comfortable bed, all the kitchen ware needed and full size appliances. Lots of coolers, beach chairs and towels. The location and view is RARE for Kihei. Not many oceanfront properties with spacious lawn. The a/c was very efficient and kept us cool. This was a bit higher than we wanted to pay, but SO WORTH IT! We will return!! Five Stars all the way!!

We were supposed to stay at this condo for 3 nights. But we ended up leaving after the first night. The condo was dirty and the bed had multiple black hair stands and yellow stains on the sheets and mattress. The A/C units also took a really long time to turn on. The next morning I tried to contact manger on site but could not get ahold of anyone or find anyone to help.

Great spot for the view, but not for direct beach access for swimming (so if your looking for this- not your spot) Overall everything was great! Bed was comfy and the kids did not complain of the sofa bed. We did have a small tech issue with one of the blinds that did not work. They sent a company to check it- we came home to a bunch of wires hanging from the shade which was a bit concerning since we had a 5 year old. Don’t get me started on the “property managers” who I’m sorry are older people who seem to think they live in a retirement community! You have families who are staying on the complex- the whole shut off of the laundry is disaster! Also, my husband who is a dark skinned Mexican man especially when he gets lots of sun was questioned as to why he was on the property- this really pissed me off. This was the only down fall of the property is the on-site management. Not to mention while I was washing an older man came up to in front of my teenager and said you know the rules? Machines turn off at 9pm- and when your done make sure you turn off the light! I clearly read the post that are ALL over and stated to him I understand- I know how to read. He didn’t say anything and said okay, I’m just letting you know, I’m the manager. Okay- thanks! This is truly my one and only complaint- those two people who are “managers” did not make us feel comfortable.

The rental was in a convenient location, near by many restaurants, beaches, and shops. We loved the view from the lanai, the sunsets were spectacular. We appreciated having cooler bags and beach chairs so that we could spend time at the beach. The beach behind the rental is a bit rocky, but so were a lot of the beaches in the area. Be sure to wear water shoes and you’ll be fine. The apartment was clean and comfy, with AC both in the bedroom and living room. The building has an elevator, with laundry on the main floor. You can load money on an app to pay for the washer and dryer rather than worrying about quarters.

The only complaint I have is that you cannot operate the air conditioning in the living room and bedroom at the same time. It is one or the other. Fine if only the bedroom is being used for sleep. We really enjoyed this property. We felt it was a great location for Maui and was accurately described on VRBO. The bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately the heat from the air conditioner on our balcony kept us from sitting out there.

Nice set up! This condo has been remodeled and given lots of love. The Little details make the space feel like home, with great bbq to use and excellent view! A/C works great and helped to keep cool on those warm days. It was a perfect trip and we love Kihei! Perfect location to be close to all the popular areas/cities but you are out of the busy resort area. We would love to come back! Or would love to know if you have other units on Oahu, or big Island?!

It was spotless and clean! It also was well stocked with extra goodies like beach towels, a beach bag, boogie boards, beach chairs, and an umbrella, which were great for going to the beach! I also liked the shades on the windows that could be controlled by the switch on the wall. I had no problems with the AC or any of the amenities in the condo. The kitchen was well stocked too! The condo was very clean, well maintained, modern &had all the amenities that one would need on vacation. Being a family of 4 with 2 young children, it was a good fit. The condo's unobstructed expansive ocean view is absolutely stunning. One can enjoy the view just sitting on the living room couch or the patio. The walk to the beach is less than 2 minutes & thru a large, beautiful landscaped area. The beach is so peaceful and calm. The sunsets were just gorgeous!
Things that could be improved
1) Wi-fi was often slow or unavailable. Had to reconnect frequently
2) The A/C exhaust is on the patio & blows hot air in the direction of the outdoor dining area which was uncomfortable. If there was a way to redirect the hot air toward the west (perhaps using a very wide pipe from the exhaust)
3) A washer,dryer should be installed in the unit. The common units were very few and inconvenient.
4) The bedroom was right by the outside corridor/hallway and frequently got very noisy. If signs were were posted in hallways and next to guest units for quiet time during the day as well, it would go a long way.

Great location for us as we balanced visiting relatives in Kahului and Pukulani with having fun at the beaches in Kapalua and Kaanapali. Central to both areas so driving not too long. Condo had lots of extras that were very much appreciated like beach towels, beach chairs, small cooler, umbrellas and snorkel gear. Less things for us to pack so we only had carryon luggage! Thanks!
