Kapaa Shore Resort is in a very good location to see the whole island of Kauai. It is close to supermarkets, modest restaurants, and fast food chains. Very clean complex. Easy to visit the North of Kauai as well as the South. Do not expect high end restaurants in Kapaa. There aren't any. The Indian restaurant across the street offers very good food. Expect high prices for everything. The apartment is very clean, has whatever one needs as far as utensils are concerned, and beach towels and chairs. Comfortable bed. Beautiful view. There is a portable air condition in the living room, with no central air condition. This was not an issue in December when I was there, but I imagine it would be a problem in the bedroom during summer. I needed no assistance during my stay since I faced no problems in the condo. This was my second stay in the complex, I will do it again and I recommend it to all.

This property is convenient to airport, well managed, nice pool and hot tub. Balcony view was amazing! Would have liked a bit more “walkable “ beach, but there are some close to resort. Great vacation!

This unit is privately owned. Very clean and updated inside. Gorgeous Oceanfront view. Beach is not swimmable. However, on of our favorite beaches on the island is 10 miles down the street Kealia Beach. Condo has everything you need, even beach chairs, umbrella and a little soft cooler. The king size bed was hands down the more comfortable bed I have slept on outside of my own room. So soft. The water is perfect. No need for bottled water. Pool and hot tub were nice to relax in at night.

Upon arrival, hot water was not on, and cable TV didn't work. Had to have maintenance turn water heater on and had Spectrum cable for 2 hours to fix TV connection.

Unit was very well stocked and clean. Bed was comfy. Listing doesn’t do a good job picturing the lack of beach front. Just a concrete breakwater. Besides that. Loved the location.

The location is perfect. Centrally located. The rooms were well decorated, supplied and very comfortable. We felt right at home. But the BEST part was the VIEW of the Sunrises, the Moonrises, the Mid day Sunshine!!! Mary and I spent HOURS every day sitting on our Balcony talking about our Past, Present, and Future...looking out at the most Spectacular view. Beautiful. On top of that was the Concierge. SONJA KEALA. She is AWESOME. She arranged our Dinner reservations, our Luaus, our Day trips, Shopping information, Travel time expectations!!! SONJA KEALA is so good at her job. Very Professional. We can't thank her enough. Garden island Properties is the Best. Period. We'll be back.

The cleanliness of the condo was outstanding. Beautiful sunrises were seen from the lanai. The bed was big and comfortable with wonderful pillows. It was close to stores and restaurants. We could easily travel north or south to reach beaches and hiking areas.

We loved it! The photo from balcony is pretty accurate. Great view of ocean and sunrise. Kitchen is pretty and well stocked. We lacked for nothing.Perfect size for two. Sand chairs and coolers were useful for nearby beaches. There is no sand beach on property. No A/C but didn't need it. Open front and back doors for tremendous cooling cross breeze and provided fans also help.A shame you can't smoke outside on balcony. The designated area is small and a little walk from apt. but puts you under the stars and at ocean's edge, so not the worst. Make sure you have quarters for laundry. No detergent on site but ABC store sells single use. Xlnt location. Close to food shopping. Great restaurants close by. Check out Sammy's and Cafe Hemingway, plus taproom across street. Bike rental and start of shoreline path are next door to condo, so walking distance. Great time here!
