This place is completely as advertised and we couldn’t be happier. Sitting on the back porch and watching the sun disappear behind the coconut grove was just heavenly. The rooms were spacious given the size of the place and the kitchen is well stocked. Couldn’t have picked a better spot to bed down for a quick family getaway. The path to the beach is wide and clean and there are lots of local stops for food, drinks, groceries within walking distance. Highly recommend this location!

Let me preface this with, we own a timeshare but it wasn’t available when we needed it. So we’re used to the resort life and the rental listing clearly states this is not a RESORT. Apples and oranges, really.What is IS is a well appointed condo with full kitchen, great location, and so many pluses. Let’s see what I can list off the top of my head: food storage containers and ziploc bags, SPICES for your cooking pleasure, beach chairs, coolers and ice packs, towels, toiletries, hairdryers, sunscreen and bug repellant, detergents, WiFi, cable TV with DVD player and a few books on the shelf. Cute place. Just big enough for our family of 4.The one drawback for my California, dry weather butt, is no air conditioning. I can live without a pool since the beach is only steps away, but no AC when it got humid was rough. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and in the living room and 3 stand fans. We don’t have whole house AC at home so we’re used to the drill - close off the house and the shades in the early morning, open up the house and use fans to pull in the cool air (beach side in the case of this condo), open widows and create a cross breeze if you can. For most of our week, this was plenty, but the last 2 days it was HUMID and the winds died down. In Summary:PROS* Easy check in - keys in a realtor’s lock box* Walking distance to beach - partial beach view* Walking distance to shopping and restaurants (Coconut Marketplace anyone?)* Fully equipped kitchen - spices, cookware, containers* Beach gear - chairs, towels, sunscreen, bug repellant, coolers and ice packs* Hair dryers, soap and shampoo* Linens and cleaning supplies (should the mood strike you)* WiFi, cable TVCONS*No ACAdditional facts - LOTS of chicken, and roosters crow all day, BTW. Pros: clean, well stocked, great location next to the beach.
Cons: HOT! Put in an A/C and it would be great. There was no cross breeze, so we couldn’t get the place even remotely cooled down even with all fans going and all windows and doors open. Also, a few beach supplies, other than the beach towels, would be nice. Though this beach isn’t swimmable, there are others nearby. Finally, in comparison to other places, this management, though friendly, was oddly complicated (e.g. separate contract, lots of emails, mixed messages and a strange back-and-forth about how many people can stay in the condo).

This condo is in a great central location, close to Safeway and shopping and easy access to the bike trail. I could hear the ocean and the refreshing breeze was lovely. The condo itself was very clean, bright and well appointed. We could hear the noise on a couple of nights from the nearby hotels show, but it wasn't overly loud.

Great apartment for the family. Beautiful sunrise each day. Driving is easy to South shore if the weather is rainy (we stayed in December) and North Shore. Ceiling fans and ocean breeze were enough and didn’t miss air conditioning. Thank you!

This property is so beautiful; my family and I had a wonderful stay. The only thing is that it doesn't have AC, and the chickens sing non-stop, so the first night was a bit rough but other than that, it is a great place to stay.

We spent 2 weeks at Village Manor unit A21, and had a great time. 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 10 and 14). The unit was well appointed, and in a great location, with very easy parking right outside the unit. We enjoyed walking down to the beach, just a few steps away. Shopping, restaurants, and food trucks are all within walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

The location is fine, next to the beach. The check-in and out procedures are easy, nonetheless the need to submit by email prior to arrival all Covid documentation is quite cumbersome and time-consuming. The appearence and quality of furniture in the property seem a bit old and worn out by time. Besides, one feel the lack of air-con. Last but not least, the use of the washing machine and dryer are subject to charges and this is very unwelcom, considering the high rental cost of the property

The management was very responsive. We arrived late on Christmas day and they responded with the key code very promptly. The unit is in a nice location, close to water, beach walk, shops and restaurants. The adjoining coconut and pine grove is beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked. The 2 bedroom unit is very small overall, especially for 4 adults; the 1/2 bath is very small, closet size with a wooden slotted door. The unit, especially the bathrooms, looks tired and shows its age.

We had a great time visiting Kauai. The rental condo was the perfect size for 5 adults. We were worried at first with no ac in the unit, but there were floor fans, tons of windows and a great breeze. The beach was in walking distance, but if not good for swimming due to the lava reef, but perfect to relax and watch the sun rise. Walking distance to some great happy hour places. Convenient grocery store across the street. The condo had everything we needed; would definitely visit again and recommend!!

This is a cute place that I would return to and recommend to my friends and family. I started each day with a cup of coffee on the lanai and ended it falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The kitchen was sufficient to cook a few meals, which saved a decent amount of money. It was clean when we arrived and beach towels were provided, which I think is awesome. There’s no AC, (which is common in Hawaii), but the place gets a nice breeze flowing through. It was never uncomfortably warm.
I thought the location couldn’t be more perfect. Highly recommend!

The really liked the location, the appartment was clean in general. The property management was professional, helpful and answered promptly to our messages. The kitchen is well equipped. The only thing we were not happy about were the termites we found at least in one of the bathroom and flying in the master bedroom (found two in our bed). Besides that, we definitely recommend this place, we had a great time!

The condo was nice. Not fancy but nice. It met all of our needs sleeping, bathing, cooking and just relaxing. I love that the Coconut trees are right outside of our balcony. Everything one could want is within walking distance. Grocery stores, the beach, restaurants, laundry. It is a quiet property and the neighbors are nice. The only thing that was sometimes a nuisance was the chickens but really they are everywhere and there is not much one can do about that. Plus they are charming in spite of their 3 a.m wake-up calls. We were happy with our stay.

While the condo was everything we needed, clean and well supplied I will not be returning. The reason being it is not a place you can get any sleep between the roosters crowing all night and the trucks in the back doing whatever. It sounded like they had run over a metal shed or something. Plus I miss being able to sit and look right out on the ocean. But the condo was fine but in a bad location.

We enjoyed our stay at this simple, comfortable condo. Everything we needed to make our stay great was available to us. Just a short distance down to the beach for walks, central to the south and north shores, and a pleasant drive to the west coast. The ocean breeze made it so comfortable inside, and except for roosters crowing early in the morning, our nights were peaceful and restful. We would definitely check for availability of this condo for a future return trip!

We arrived after dark to our Kapaa condo, and because the instructions for our arrival to the condo were so thorough, had no problem getting in to the home. Opened the windows and the ocean breeze flowed in. The condo is simple, clean, and perfectly located to everything we wanted to do. Garden Island Properties provided everything in this lovely condo that we needed, and even had some extras we didn't expect, such as beach chairs and beach towels. We loved our stay there and when we come back ??, we won't hesitate to see if it's available again!!

We found the rental clean, with everything we needed, convenient location (at the entrance of the town, so going South the exit traffic was not too bad). Did not spend much time indoors. Having two rooms was nice. Sometimes the place was too hot in the evening, but eventually it cooled off with the fans and the open windows.
