Good location, newly renovated kitchen. This property is close enough to the beach to walk. Parking not ideal. No elevators and you are on the 3rd floor, which is fine as long as you are aware of that. Other than that this place was great.

This is one of the more roomy condos that we have stayed in in Kihei! Was perfect for our family of 8. Kitchen was well stocked - though the refrigerator is on the older side. I was very happy they had some beach equipment available! 4 beach chairs, some snorkels, 2 umbrellas a small cooler and various sand toys. It is about a 10 min walk to Kam II beach and a 12 minute walk to Kam III. Great location, beautiful grounds and quiet condo.

Property was nice but the condo had very, very dirty carpet. We didn’t want the baby with us to even crawl on it and fridge was leaking water onto top shelf from somewhere and all door trays were broken so it really cut down on the useable size of the fridge and that made things challenging. Location was great though.

Nous avons passé du bon temps au condo. Les check-in et check-out ont été très faciles. Le condo était propre à l'arrivée et rien ne manquait. La piscine est très belle, les enfants l'ont adorés. Il y a des BBQ qui sont mis à notre disposition. Le complexe est à côté de la plage ce qui est parfait et près des restaurants. Mis à part l'air conditionnée qui pourrait être centrale et plus performante, nous n'avons pas de mauvais commentaires. Malheureusement, nous avons demandé un early check-in mais cela n'a pas été possible.

Overall, the condo size was perfect for our party of 6. Plenty of room. Cons, the Queen guest bed is very hard and quite uncomfortable. I highly suggest a mattress topper. Also, the kitchen utensils are really lacking. Only 4 butter knives. And like 3 bowls. No containers to store leftovers at all. I highly suggest the owners do some kitchen utensils and kitchen tool updating. Also, it needs to be noted that there are no beach towels. If beach towels in the past have been stolen by other visitors, I can understand. But it should be disclosed. We had to spend $50 on beach towels at Costco. Also, there is 1 beach chair. Kind of a bummer. Plenty of boogie boards tho. I just feel like the owners should plan a visit and do some updating in the kitchen regarding kitchen tools and what not. And maybe provide beach towels. I just feel like more care and personal attention to detail on their condo should be given. Overall, a decent place to stay.

This was a really nice space for 7 adults and an infant. The kitchen was updated and well equipped. It had 3 individual private balconies. Also well stocked with water toys. The only issues we had was the carpet in the living space was really stained and either needed to be cleaned or replaced and there are no elevators in the building, so getting luggage up and down to the 3rd floor was a little harder than we expected, but we managed. Overall it was a very nice property.

First the bathroom in what would appear as a Master is actually in a hallway and the only way into bedroom #2. There is no privacy in this bathroom separated by a hallway. Number 3 bathroom has a pocket door which is broken and would not close. So if you are renting a 3 bedroom/ 3 bath. consider this as not a good option. There is no assigned parking and we (party of 6) had 1 car and never a place to park near the Condo. Advertised as beach & pool towels available on site. I notified the contact number (on day 1) that we had only 2 towels for beach & pool. After 4 days, 2 additional towels were left. A 3 bedroom rental should be expected to have more than 2 occupants.

Although the condo was nothing fancy it was perfect for our needs. Had everything we needed and more! Everything to make a meal at home was there including the use of the BBQs (which were always immaculately clean) down by the pool area. The grounds were maintained beautifully at all times. The staff made regular sweeps of the pool area, the grounds and the different seating areas. We were close walk to the beach, the restaurants and shopping. It was perfect for our family and had a great time.

Nice location. Loved the pool, hot tub, and grill area. There is also a tennis court which is in excellent shape. The view of palm tops adds privacy and is very relaxing.
Easy to contact the property manager when needed. They use a hospitality app if you have any maintenance issues or other issues to resolve to request to do either while you are there, away or once you have concluded your stay.
Laundry machines are smaller double stacked typical of condos.
We like to walk for distances and you could easily walk to most of Kihei or south to the resorts. If you do a dive or boat trip from the Kihei boat launch it is a pretty easy walk or drive and park.
Near enough to a few restaurants to eat out by walking to options or grab groceries and cook at the condo.
While comfortable, the king beds topper does side a bit so if you have a couple who are light sleepers and or ones that move in their sleep they might choose a different bed.

Nice place. Plenty of room for our party of 8. Clean kitchen, very comfortable beds, lots of extra towels and sand toys for the kids. My only bummer was the walking distance from the beach. I didn’t know the exactly building before booking so didn’t realize this one is in the very back building. Adults not an issue but for the kids it was a lot after a Long Beach day.

Maui Banyan is in a perfect place. Great location. There were six of us staying in this condo for 15 days. We have stayed at Maui Banyan before and have always enjoyed it. The condo was the perfect size for all of us. Lots of space. There were just a few disappointments and suggestions that I would highly encourage the owners to address. Number one, it was not disclosed that there were no beach towels. We ended up spending $50 on beach towels at Costco. Every condo we’ve ever stayed at has always had those available. Also, there was only one beach chair. Kind of a bummer. I feel like the kitchen utensils and tools were seriously lacking. If we were only there for a few days, not a problem, but we were there for 15 days and we only had four butter knives. We had no containers to store leftovers. When you are staying in a condo for two weeks or longer, it’s important to have a well stocked kitchen. This condo is definitely dated and needs some upgrades. Although, you could tell the kitchen was somewhat updated. Also, the queen guest bed in one of the bedrooms was extremely hard and uncomfortable. I also highly suggest that the owners invest in a mattress topper to make it more comfortable. Compared to other condos we have stayed at, at Maui Banyon Condo, I feel like this particular condo has not seen much love from the owners. Not many personal touches or care. Condo was clean. Overall, the condo suited our needs. I just think that kitchen utensils and tools were a bit disappointing. As well as no beach towels. Although, the ones we purchased we left there for others to use. I would recommend this condo, and I hope my concerns and recommendations will be addressed….
