The grounds are amazing! The employees can be seen daily, cleaning the grills and area. Was a 5 minute drive to excellent dining and beaches! The view from the balcony onto the courtyard and the ocean! Plenty of space foe the family to spread out. I would definitely come back

My husband, 2.5 year old, and 9 month old had an amazing stay at the Maui Sunset! This was our second time staying at this property and it’s just truly amazing!
This unit was beautifully updated and was equipped with everything we needed for our 11 night stay. You just can’t beat the view from the balcony and the easy walk to the beach!

Nice and clean. The place also came with amenities - toiletries, cleansers, etc. Staff on property were so pleasant and welcoming. Susan was friendly, immediately responsive to concerns and tried to fix issue with TV. She even sent a staff member to assist us but in the end we couldn’t get TV in bedroom to work. It didn’t matter because overall we were happy with our stay and the customer service is awesome.

My family of 4 spent a few days here. The location is excellent with nearby breakfast and lunch eateries. There are good vegetarian options too nearby. The condo is just steps away from the beach and good for morning and evening walks. The common area is very well maintained. The condo itself was very clean and the host was very responsive. We had an issue with the tv and was quickly resolved. Highly recommend!!

This is your standard one bedroom unit in an older development on Kihei Road. It was clean and perfectly acceptable. I like the location and the ocean access is good albeit to a rocky beach. The bedroom has a double bed.

This condo was perfect for 6 people and even 7 if you could! It had all the amenities we needed- AND MORE! The location was perfect as well. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of some of the decorative pillows and the shower curtain (that was really moldy). Other than that, the beach gear was awesome to have and everyone had privacy and slept comfortably! Thank you for the stay Susan!

This space worked really well for us. We were combining a vacation with some work/school obligations and the space allowed plenty of room for each of us to focus on our own projects. Clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds. First visit to Maui. Close to lots of beautiful beaches, but beach near property more of a day walk and evening turtle watch kind of area rather than a day swim area. Makes for a quieter space and pool is lovely. Just know that you'll need to drive to get the best of the beaches.

Nice, clean condo but could use an upgrade with couches and chairs.. AC is loud but I think it applies to the whole complex. Overall nice stay.

What a gem! This 2bdrm apartment was spacious, had an ocean view for the beautiful Maui sunsets, and equipped with so much that we kept finding more during our two week stay. The hallway closet stored a ton of goodies like beach toys and equipment, including but not limited to snorkeling gear, beach chairs and umbrellas, tent, and sand castle building toys. It also had tennis rackets and balls to use at the tennis courts, and golf putters for the putting green just outside. The apartment itself had board games, tons of towels, utensils/plates/cups for adults and kids, and pretty much all the necessary cooking stuff.
The facility was also fantastic. The pool and hot tub was a must for our little ones, and it never felt too busy. The landscaping was 5 star, and the lawn was so perfect that it looked like it was a highend golf course or even fake! There were 6 Weber BBQ’s for anyone to use, and tons of parking available for your rental car.
Location was also very convenient. 18min from the airport and Costco, walking distance to the Kihei restaurants, shops and grocery store, and next to the beach!
Must rent if you’re wanting to stay in Kihei. We will definitely go back!

Our stay in Maui Sunset A308 was an awesome experience. Not only was the room spacious and well furnished, but the bedrooms had very comfortable beds, and easy access to the elevator, which was a God send for my disabled parents. Parking was plentiful, and the surprising plus was the pool in the middle of the courtyard went all the way to a depth of 8 ft., which allowed our family enjoyable dips and refreshing swims. Would definitely stay again if available!

The condo is lovely, beautifully decorated and very clean. We had a hiccup in the first night with one of the beds, and with two small kitchen appliances the first morning; however, the property manager helped to resolve everything quickly and efficiently, and from then on everything was perfect. We were able to comfortably fit six adults in the condo, and it was the perfect base for exploring many different parts of the island and doing many different activities. We highly recommend this property!

Refreshing to find very well stocked closet with beach necessities……. Chairs, umbrellas, cooler, tennis racquets. All necessary small kitchen appliances and kitchen needs were available. Pull up parking spaces were always available and convenient. Most notably, the water pressure for the showers was excellent. Great place! Book it!

This condo is in the heart of Kihei. It doesn’t take long to get to other parts of the island either. It was clean and had quite a few items to play on the beach with, which was nice. Partial ocean view from the lanai. We had a great time!

I stayed here with 6 people and it worked out perfectly. The place is clean with lots of space so we didn’t feel too crammed. The place was full of supplies (towels, kitchen supplies, etc) . They also provided beach chairs and equipment which was a plus. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This condo was perfect in every way! We really enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen came well equipped with toaster, electric kettle, coffee machines (both drip and Keurig), and all the dishes, utensils etc you could need. We're a family of 4 (2 teen girls) and the condo worked out so well for us sleeping wise as well. Our girls were comfortable in the queen room and had their own attached bathroom. Parents had the king room and the hall bathroom, so we had our own space too. There was lots of gear for activities included--pool noodles, cooler, beach chairs, towels, umbrella... too much to list it all! It was great! The location couldn't be beat in Kihei. We were a 2 minute drive from lots of restaurants, groceries, shopping. The property grounds were VERY well maintained. The pool was clean, the hot tub was actually hot, and the beach was mostly accessible. I say mostly because you need to be able-bodied to climb down the edge of the grass to the sandy beach. One word of advice, bring water shoes. Every beach in Maui that we went to was rocky and in the nooks of the rocks there were many sea urchins. I would definitely recommend this condo to a friend and would love to stay here again if we make it back to Maui. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Was a little bit hesitant when booking this property, also saw one of the reviews which listed couple issues.
After the stay, to me and my family we felt very lucky to choose this place, I am pretty picky, but couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Commute is very convenient from airport, as well as to other beaches in different part of Maui. The apartment has everything you need and very enjoyable, I can tell the own put lots of thought into the renovations. I strongly recommend this place to family like me has two kids. Susan is also very responsive and informative!!!

Very well-designed condo in the Maui Sunset Condominium complex. The owner has included a number of quality, thoughtful touches that made our vacation easier, including: very nice cookware, pool and beach accessories (chairs, beach towels, kid's toys, noodles), and very comfortable beds. All the furnishings seemed new to us and the whole condo was bright and cheery. We were very impressed with the Maui Sunset maintenance staff. The grounds were immaculate, and the grass in the very large center courtyard was so perfect that it could have been a putting green. The staff meticulously cleaned the six+ barbecue grills that were in the courtyard every day. The grounds extended all the way to the perfect sandy beach, where we watched sunset each day. Parking was easy -- never a problem -- even though there wasn't a designated spot for any of the condos. Plenty of spaces. The location is perfect for our first trip to beautiful Kihei. Convenient to the airport (about 25 minutes) and to lots of restaurants, shops, and other stores. All in all, we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

Great place for family of 5 which can be challenging to accomodate. Well maintained resort property with many amenities as advertised. Clean unit. Well appointed kitchen, beach chairs, furniture, etc. Had to contact property manager for a few things but she was always very responsive and helpful.
We worked around a few issues that I would expect not to exist if I were to give a 5 rating: 1) bed sheets were wet, we had to strip beds, run dryer and remake beds on our first night, believe the washer is not working properly with drippung wet clothes sometimes, (property manager offered to send someone over but we preferred to work through it vs coordinating with a repair guy while on precious family vacation time); 2) disposal did not work first night so kitchen sink backed up (was pointed to reset a thrown fuse/reset under sink which I eventually found). Other non-ideal items which we worked through: sleeper couch is kind of a mess, cushions and mattress not comfortable even for my 13 yo. 3 AC units in sleeping areas (not central) are quite loud, bring ear plugs. Overall, had a great stay and I would stay again. Thank you!

This property was absolutely perfect for me and my family! We stayed for 3 weeks and it was a joy to come ‘home’ after a sunny day at the beach. Susan’s decor is beautiful, absolutely my style! Modern, light, not clunky and over done. It’s clean and airy. It’s spacious and so very well equipped with quality pots and pans, electrical appliances, cutlery etc. Everything you need is there! The beach cooler bags and chairs are perfect!!

Great property!! clean, quiet and in the best location. We had five adults in our party and had plenty of room. It was a plus to have a well appointed kitchen so we could make some meals in house. If you’re looking for beach gear, they have anything you’d need to take along to the beach. The couch and beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. Very comfortable property. All amenities are present which made it quite a luxury. Attentive property manager responded timely when we needed extra blankets. We were with extended family and their units were not nearly as nice or well-stocked. We are very happy with this unit. This unit completely satisfied our lodging needs during our family visit to Maui. Also, unit is clean and comfortable. Susan is an excellent Owner / Property Manager who is easily accessible and made check-in convenient and quick. Location is good with access to a lot of activities and conveniences nearby and more laid back than many of the mega-resorts. The unit has all of your pool and beach needs and a lot of towels. The Maui Sunset location has a great pool, many BBQ grills (that are cleaned regularly) manicured green grass and a well-staffed Activities Desk that helped us secure a couple of excursions at the last minute. Overall, very satisfied with the Owner and the Unit. You won't be disappointed!

This was such a beautiful condo that had all the amenities we needed for the three of us! The beds were also very comfortable. The condo complex has a clean pool and hot tub close by along with shuffleboard and tennis courts. With just a short walk to the beach, you can see the most beautiful sunsets!
