Kahana Reef 404 is all about direct ocean front views. Located between the luxury resorts areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua.This newly remodeld and redecorated condo is positioned in the premier location. Tastefully furnished, this unit makes for a wonderful short term vacation rental. The kitchen includes top of the line GE Profile appliances, granite counter tops and cherry cabinets. Bathroom includes vessel onyx sink and walk-in marble shower with multi-shower heads. It also includes Toto Washlet with heated water bidet. Crystal chandeliers in dining area and bathroom. Blue LED lights under cabinets illuminates the marble flooring in the kitchen and bathroom creating an innovative mood lighting. An in-room safe is provided. The livingroom has a Samsung 46” LED TV with BOSE music system and blu-ray. Additional TV in bedroom. Free Wi-FI. Two people maximum rental.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at a few different units at Kahana Reef and at Kahana Outrigger and this was by far the nicest unit we have had. Just 2 very small things the seal on the shower door is gone so be prepared to mop up the floor and the Kuerig machine needs descaling so it did not work. Would definitely go back to this unit.

My husband and I had a wonderful week-long stay here! The view was everything we hoped for and more; we watched the gorgeous sunset from the porch every evening, and as other reviews had mentioned, we spotted sea turtles and whales from the comfort of our own lanai. Lots of restaurants and a general store close enough to walk, as well as a small but beautiful beach just about a block north. Everything else on the west side of the island is a quick, convenient drive away. The complex was quiet and peaceful, and the apartment itself is lovely, spacious, and equipped with everything we could have needed, from cookware to beach accessories. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to return soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently spent 10 days in Maui at the Kahana Reef #404 location. This is truely one of the best views in west Maui. When you walk into the condo, you see nothing but the beautiful ocean in front of you. The overall experience was wonderful as the condo has been updated with new appliances and tile. It has been said before and I will state it again, this is not air conditioned, however the island breeze does flow through very well. The lanai is very comfortable and is a great place to relax and watch the great sunsets of Hawaii. My only complaint was the glass shower in the bathroom could have been much cleaner. I understand how difficult it is to keep these showers clean (as I have them in my own home) but a better effort could have been made to keep clean. I would actually recommend putting a squeegee in the shower for people to use while there. One other item was the ice maker in the freezer did not work. Not a huge issue but would have been nice. There was come construction work going on at the building while we were there but the management company informed us as to what was taking place weeks before we arrived. They also made it very easy to check in with instructions e-mailed to us in plenty of time before our arrival. I would certainly recommend staying at this facility.

Our unit was recently updated and clean but there were ants in the kitchen every morning. They were small and there was no food for them to get into so it wasn’t much of a problem for us. The bed and furniture were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor grill and the fact that there were elevators since we were on the top floor. If we go back to Maui during humpback season I think we would stay there again because we could watch them from our patio all day long. (We did bring our binoculars so we could see them better)

As advertised and a great property in West Maui. Panoramic views of the ocean and Molokai with many whale sightings. Very well equipped with high end finishes, appliances, and kitchen gadgets one wouldn’t necessarily expect in a rental. Convenient to Kapalua, Kanapali, and Lahaina.
