The place was immaculate! Beautiful job renovating. I was at a family reunion and many family members stayed here at Molokai Shores so i was able to see a lot of the units and this was one that stood out from the rest. Chad was spot on getting back to me and resending emails I misplaced!… lolThe ocean is right there at your doorstep and the breeze coming off the ocean helped cool the place down as it is July and very hot. I highly recommend renting this unit. Nicely done Chad!

Property is old as most everything is on Molokai. Well maintained and was as described by the owner. Well equipped, clean and quiet. Pool and grounds were well kept and a great place to visit and hang out. Molokai is not for everyone however if you enjoy solitude and slow pace it hits the spot. Locals were very friendly. You give a smile and you get a smile.

First time to Molokai after 20years of visiting the other islands. It was a blast to the past—in so many ways the island is clearly 20 years behind the civilized world. Not a stoplight on the island, many roads turn to dirt without warning, no air conditioning in the condo, sketchy cell coverage (at best) around the island, pay phones and an airport without TSA.The condo was exactly as described online and the property manager was very responsive to when a couple little things came up. We appreciated the thoughtful setup such as providing condiments in the kitchen and beach gear for days out at the ocean. There are many repeat visitors at the Molokai Shores resort—people who come back every year for decades. That makes for easy conversation around the pool or when grilling for dinner. Pro tip:stop at Costco in Maui or Honolulu before heading over to pickup meat and dairy for the stay and you’ll come out way ahead cost-wise. You don’t have to go through TSA to catch the commuter plane so liquids are OK as long as you don’t go over weight limits.

We were amazed at how nice this condo was. Straight on view over green grass, palm trees, and the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. It’s located mid-island so trips to either side of the island were brief and the main town is just a few minutes away. The communication with Chad was near instantaneous. Easy check in. Molokai is great place if you want to unwind, be away from hoards of tourists, but still enjoy Hawai’i.

Molokai Shores is a great centrally located facility with a pool and a barbecue area that was a great place to meet other people. The condo was very well equipped and worked well for two couples. A big shout out to Chad for working with us to help with our individual needs.

Enjoyed ourselves at this unit while on Molokai. Unit looked to be recently renovated and had a nice modern look to it. Had everything we needed for use on our trip. Check in was easy and the view from the balcony was always a bonus. Great sunsets and listening to the water just a very short distance away. Great communications with the manager or owner and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

It was peaceful and really gave us the true experience of Hawaii. If you can’t handle the heat, probably not where you want to go as there is no air conditioning. I was fine with no air conditioning. There are plenty of fans to accommodate and circulate air. The pool was nice to dip in and cool off.
It was the perfect romantic getaway for my husband and myself.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is right in town and an easy drive to everywhere we went. The condo is clean and we enjoyed the shuffleboard, pool and mini golf on the beautiful grounds. The host is great and provides everything you may need in the condo to get you started. He also provided great recommendations for groceries, etc. Molokai is beautiful and we highly recommend hiking in Waimea Valley to the waterfall. Our favorite beaches were Murphy beach and Kepuhi beach. The Kalaupapa lookout is beautiful and we enjoyed making leis at the Plumeria farm.

The location was wonderful. He accommodated us with everything we needed while we stayed there. You do have a 5 o’clock alarm clock that goes off every day A rooster will wake you up every morning at 5 o’clock lol. The Host even allowed us to stay a little past check out since our flight was delayed. In all it was a wonderful trip. We were definitely stay there again.

This rental is a beautiful home away from home. It’s just as described and shown in the pictures. Definitely one of the nicest I’ve stayed at on Molokai! Fully furnished with just about everything you need! Nice neighbors and beautiful view on the south shore of molokai looking towards Maui. The property owner is super communicative and made things easy. It was a pleasure.

The place is immaculate. Very lovely condo with great finishes and furnishings. The grounds are equally splendid!! Ask Chad for some of his favorites as they will not disappoint. We really enjoyed the Lanai, the view, and just doing nothing other than soaking up sun. Keep in mind that most places on Molokai do not have air conditioning and rely on the tradewinds to cool. Chad’s place was really nice with a compliment of fans to accompany the breezes. Really appreciated the extent Chad and his local property manager accommodated our needs.
Keep in mind this is Moloakai - so you will no find any ABC stores here. Or any chains at alll. This is “local” Hawaii — and if you’re considering trying it, it’d highly suggest you do so. There are two solid groceries, a pharmacy, gas stations, and a number of eateries. The island is also small, so if you rent a Jeep from Alamo (the only option) plan to drive the entire island.

Place as described. Chad was super responsive from day 1 & throughout our stay. We had some issues with plumbing and the 'American B52 cockroaches' (google it). Chad responded immediately sending exterminator, ultimately we learned the B52 roach is a Hawaiian issue, not just a Molokai Shores issue. Aside from that, the place is a described. If you read the other reviews you'll see mention of a hot upstairs balcony bedroom. Since it was just my wife & I we didn't need to use it, but could definitely see it would have been too hot to sleep up there during our stay (3 fans provided upstairs to help keep it cool, but we never slept up there). Remainder of unit was good, kitchen well equipped, bed was comfortable & Molokai Shores is centrally located to everything you need. Would recommend Chad's place if staying in Moloka'i

This property is in a beautiful location and has all of the amenities. It was well stocked with everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. It was very clean (especially compared to other units in the same complex). We loved this place and property. We were near to everything we needed and right on the shore looking out from our lanai. Still able to drive to all important and beautiful sites on the island. Place is clean, great for two, and has everything you need to feel at home and cook etc.

It's actually been a year since we stayed at Chad's condo and I was just referring someone here I realized I never left a review. From start to finish Chad was easy to deal with and provided tons of info to us on what to see and do and where to go. We took our teenage twin daughters who slept in large loft bedroom and we stayed in first floor bedroom. The condo is beautiful and the views cannot be beat. We also enjoyed the pool on site. We would return to this property in a heartbeat.

We had the pleasure to stay in Chad’s condo at Molokai Shores unit for twelve days this month (Jan. 2013) for our 25th wedding anniversary. Chad was very easy to work with during the whole process. He answered immediately any questions I had before our stay. Instructions were sent prior to our arrival as to checking in and he had plenty of information in the condo about the complex and things to do in Molokai.
The condo was very clean and decorated immaculately with high end furniture. There is a king size bed downstairs and a queen size bed in the loft bedroom. We chose to sleep upstairs in the loft bedroom because to us, it was quieter. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary pots & pans, dishes, etc. needed to cook if you choose to do so. There were beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler which was nice to have when going to the beaches.
The view was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to seeing the ocean right outside was wonderful. We saw whales out front (you will need binoculars, which we brought), the ferry coming and going to Maui and cargo ships.
We went fishing with Hallelujah Hoe Fishing and caught some beautiful fish that we cooked that evening. Captain Clay knows his “stuff”. We caught all the fish we needed within two hours and started whale watching. We got in a pod of whales (5) that we followed for about an hour. That was a real treat.
We also did everything else that you will read about to do with the exception of the mule ride. We just decided to pass on it because of the switchbacks on the trail and the height.
All in all, we loved Molokai, Chad’s condominium and the people of Molokai. We want to return in the future and hope to stay in the beautiful condo again. Thank you Chad!!

We stayed in Chad's condo in Jan. of 2011. It is wonderfully decorated and has all of the amenities you would desire. The island is very different from it's sisters, but so charming and beautiful with it's red dirt and wonderful beaches. We drove end to end several times and off road in our Jeep, which is lots of fun.
The mule ride to Kalaupapa is great - especially the scenery when you arrive at the bottom.
Contact Chad, he is so personable. You will not be disappointed in this condo.

My wife and I spent a long weekend here for our honeymoon and had a great time. The location is perfect to get to both sides of the island.
We had great service, the place was very clean, and layout was perfect.
We would definatly think about using this place again for future stays on Molokai.

We had a wonderful vacation on Molokai. We truly had the opportunity to rest and relax. Everyone on the island was wonderful. We did just about everything one could. We sat at the pool for some time each day. We rented a jeep from National at the Hotel Molokai. This really came in handy when we went exploring the island on the dirt trails. We rode the mules down to Kalaupapa. What an experience that was. I'm glad you recommended it! We visited many of the restaurants. We really enjoyed listening to music at the Hotel Molokai while eating dinner and it was a beautiful place to eat breakfast. What an experience going to the bakery at night was but oh so good!! We got the bread with the works. My husband doesn't usually eat bread but this was absolutely delicious. We ate half the loaf that night and the other half for breakfast. I wish I would have brought an extra loaf to take home to Minnesota!
Now for your AMAZING condo.....WOW doesn't say it all. We loved being able to share your home. We sat out on the lanai every morning and evening. Everything we needed was there for us to use and more. You did a BEAUTIFUL job remodeling it. We loved the bathroom with the double sinks, the fully stocked kitchen and the great living room to relax in. We didn't spend much time inside but when we did it was like being at home.
Thanks again for sharing your Molokai home with us. We had a WONDERFUL time. When we go back to Kauai, the island we got married on, we will contact you again to rent another one of your places.

Beautiful condo with an amazing view of the ocean and the island of Lanai. We relaxed and watched the whales frolic in the ocean. The local people on Molokai are wonderful. Truly an unforgettable vacation.
