This beautiful home was absolutely perfect for our 10 day stay with our multigenerational family. The layout was perfect. Grandparents in one master bedroom, parents in the other, with their small children next to them. Everything was clean and modern and seemed almost brand new. We particularly loved the enormous lanai and the huge sliding doors which opened up bringing the outside in. We had a minor problem with a door lock on a Sunday evening and the maintenance man answered the phone and was over to fix the problem within 15 minutes. The Honua Kai resort is amazing for families. The large pools are just minutes away as well as the beautiful beaches. We have been going to Maui for 40 years but this is the first time at the Honua Kai resort with the Luana Garden Villas. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Luana Garden Villa 8B amazing, this was our second stay at the resort. The location was a standout feature, offering easy access to the pool, hot tub, and beach. We loved being able to step right out onto the lanai with the pool just outside. The proximity to shops was also a huge plus, making it convenient to grab groceries or explore the area.The West Maui team was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring our vacation went smoothly.The villa itself was beautifully appointed with high-quality furniture and appliances. While the European appliances took some getting used to, they performed great once we figured them out. The outdoor kitchen and sitting area were highlights, perfect for enjoying the beautiful Maui weather.The property's layout was ideal, with a great floor plan offering both communal spaces and privacy. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the listing accurately represented the accommodations.We appreciated the resort's family-friendly atmosphere and the multiple pools available. The walkable resort beach was another great feature, allowing us to easily enjoy the sand and surf.Overall, our experience at Luana Garden Villa 8B was excellent. We were a group of 7 (one child of 3). Two true masters plus extra bedroom, three separate lanais and pocket doors gave each of us enough space to read but also enough space to hang together. Had no plans to eat in until we saw the built in BBQ and fully stocked kitchen. Cannot recommend enough!

Overall stay was good except for the constant disruption on the dishwasher which didn't work for 3 out of 5 days stay. Management sent different guys to fix it but issue continues on during our stay until departure date. Otherwise, the place is great and will recommend to others.

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay on Maui, particularly if you have a multigenerational family. The condo was amazing and close to everything we needed. The amenities at the resort were great and we had such a relaxing and enjoyable time. A much needed rest after a difficult few years.

Very nice property, had an incredibly fun time with only two negative comments about the establishment. The fitness center was closed and this is due to the HOA for the condominium ownership and outside of any of the owner’s control, but this information would have been very nice to have ahead of our arrival as opposed to a surprise upon arrival. At the time of writing the policy changed at the very end of our stay and you can access the fitness facility after showing COVID-19 vaccine card (on our final day of our stay).
Additionally, an adult toenail clipping was found on the floor by my 9 month old son who promptly tried to put it in his mouth. The toenail clipping was not possibly from anyone in our party as nobody had clipped their toenails in the condo prior to this incident.

We were there for my daughter destination wedding. We loved the location of the property! It was great to grill on the patio and have a pool right outside our door. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of room for everyone. It was nice to have a garage right there for unloading the babies and groceries. We also loved that it was a short walk to the main towers, pools and the ocean.

This was our first stay. Everything was as advertised and we really enjoyed the unit. Check-in was a little delayed, but beyond control of property manager.
We enjoyed being able to park near the unit. We ate several meals in. We were traveling with my in-laws, so it was nice that we each had our own very spacious suites. I would recommend an extra garbage can in bedroom portion. Long walk around to the bathroom.
When walking the property, all of the lanais look the same, so be sure you get your bearings. For our stay the area was pretty quiet and pool was not crowded. If you are looking for more activities head to the main resort pools.

This is a condo resort, not a hotel resort, so don't expect plenty of restaurants or services. Once you accept that, it's a great place for families. Spacious villas with top end appliances and all you need to cook and bbq. No lobby to walk through and park in your own driveway and garage. It's new and feels like an undiscovered gem. The only restaurant is Dukes and we got in for one reservation but was otherwise booked a month out. Tip is to rent cushioned pool chairs or cabana and they serve Dukes there from 11 to 4. Get the ribs starter. Wow

Spacious, clean, comfortable and ideal for a family of 6 adults and two children. Perfect getaway for local residents with all the amenities of home. Only disappointment was nearby pool was closed but other pool locations were available.
