My husband, step daughter and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. The property was central to all the things we love in Kihei, easily walkable around town. The condo itself was perfect, clean and updated and just what we needed. There were beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, and our parking spot was right out front. There was also a guest book that had great reviews of local things to do and places to eat. Easy check in process. Perfect place to come and go.

This condo unit was lovely. The grounds, the office, the units all top notch and right across from the beach. This particular condo was well equipped in the kitchen, with supplies for the 10 days as well as prompt response when required. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The view is the best thing about this location!
Could’ve been a little more stocked with necessities, Beds could’ve been a little more comfortable, and one more extra blanket would’ve been nice.
But the view during whale season was amazing!!

We love staying at Kihei Akahi. It’s close proximity to great beaches, amazing Wailea, great beaches, noteworthy food, great beaches, is perfect! And this condo was the best one yet. The view is awesome and A/C in both bedrooms.

The condo was perfect. It’s directly across the street from Kamaole Beach Park 2, which is a great swimming beach in the wintertime and makes for an amazing view from the lanai. The condo was very comfortable and well stocked with everything needed for a wonderful vacation. Lots of shopping and good food a short walk away. Thank you Anke!

Best thing about the unit is the beautiful view from the lanai. One negative is that the floors were not cleaned well prior to our arrival (our feet and socks were quite dirty from walking around the unit). We had a few problems (A/C and freezer/refrigerator) and the owner was responsive with having them serviced. Overall, a very nice condo that met our needs, with a few inconveniences.

My husband, two daughters and son-in-law stayed at this property. It was very clean, had beach chairs, beach towels, anything that you would need to go to the beach. It was just like staying at your own home with all the stuff you would need to live there and play there. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our family of five (ranging from. 80 years old - 9 years) had a terrific time. Check in process was smooth after a long day of travel. Kihei Akahi is right across the beach and host provided beach items (umbrella, chairs, coolers) which were much appreciated. Hope to visit again soon!!

We had a great stay here for our trip with 2 toddlers. The unit was super clean when we got there and so convenient to restaurants and beaches. The AC in each bedroom was key for a good night’s sleep! We are already planning our next trip here!

We loved The view and the clean cozy space. The beach across the street was a great place for a daily morning walk. The kitchen was easy to use and there was plenty of storage. We loved having beach chairs available to use.

Condo was great. No issues. We had a family vacation and all had seperate condos. This one was our favorite :)
Was very clean and had several beach chairs to borrow for the beach. Snorkel rental shop is close by as well as several restaurants. Thanks for providing a great place to stay!

We had a great stay during Maui. The location of this condo is great. It's quiet as it's the last building in the property area. Condo was clean and had good selection of beach towels and chairs. We left behind beach toys, so those are available now too. My sister and parents stayed in another unit in this complex and not nearly as nice as ours (different owner). Only suggestions is to get king size pillows for master bedroom and potentially better blinds to cut out the sunlight. However; this got us up and going early to beat the busy rush to beach, so wasn't too big of a deal.

We loved staying at Anke's place in Kihei. It was a perfect launching point for our South Maui adventures! We spent most mornings snorkeling in the Wailea area and then chillin' and/or boogie boarding on various beaches in the afternoons. Yes, Turtle Town does exist! ;-) The condo was well-stocked with everything we needed for our playtime in paradise (especially all the beach toys you'll need), and Anke was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. The grounds of Kihei Akahi are also beautiful and well kept and there is a botanical walk if you appreciate Hawaiian foliage like we do. 🌺🌸 We already miss Maui and would stay here again for sure!

We have stayed in 5 different units at the Kihei Akahi and this is our favorite unit. The view from the lanai is "the best" and with the trades blowing in and this unit on the north end of the building, you have a cooling breeze to keep the unit comfortable. Highly recommend this unit.

Our trip to Maui was enhanced by staying in this condo. Extremely comfortable and had every thing imaginable that you could possibly need when staying away from home. We loved the location and the grounds. It was just perfect! We would stay here again and may very well plan another trip to Maui soon.

Property is still as described in my April 2019 review. Owner added a very convenient keypad access that resolved any concerns about security and keeping track of the key.
