I discounted the building’s dilapidated exterior, using shaker board ages quickly near the ocean. This place was dirty as soon as we walked in. There was a note letting us know the garbage disposal was broken. Despite my complaint of the smell, nothing was done to fix this during our stay. The were a few mismatched dishes and pans, no cleaning supplies and cockroaches. I lived in Georgia, so I know cockroaches but I found it in the dirty dishwasher. I washed dishes by hand. The only BBQs are charcoal. My husband who is low key was also disgusted. He was vacuuming up cobwebs and dead bugs from the floor, ceiling and window seals. I spent over an hour on arrival cleaning. How old are the photos they posted of this place? This place needs a DEEP clean and an update. The towel rack was bent and almost broken off the wall. Multiple screens had holes which allowed insects in. The kitchen blind was broken so I used a blanket to block the bright lights from the neighbors. There is no breeze and no air conditioning but 3 VERY dirty, old fans. We couldn’t sleep the 1st night and ended up buying another fan and struggled to sleep due to heat. Last, Geri told me twice she processed my refund, as of 16 days, I still haven’t seen it. I would be embarrassed to have anyone stay here. Clearly this is someone trying to squeeze every last dime out of this place because it has a view.

Absolutely beautiful condo. I wish we could have stayed there longer! It would also be nice if the check time was earlier as we found that aspect difficult. I was also a little unclear on the parking pass situation but was able to print one at a nearby hotel.

Overall the stay was very nice. The place was as shown but it would be nice if more small wares were provided and available. Limited towels too for a family of 3 staying 2 days. Appreciate the beach extras though!

Great views out the front to the Pacific (and a peekaboo of the mountains from the bathroom). Also, fantastic (firm) bed, decently appointed kitchen, great laundry machines in unit, snorkel gear provided, and we really appreciated the flexibility to rent for just one night due to our travel circumstances changing (most places want at least 3 nights, if not 7). So, thank you for that option!
Also, they provide lots of fans to help out the trade winds for air circulation. But, about those trade winds...folks should know that pretty much every Sealodge unit lacks air conditioning. They count on the trade winds to keep properties sufficiently ventilated. But if the trade winds die down, these units can get pretty dang warm inside. We were here in August, and required all four provided fans blowing on us in bed – and all windows cranked open – to be comfortable enough to sleep. That's not a dig on the unit...the unit itself was great. But if you want to relax in air-conditioned splendor, you may be frustrated if the weather is hot and becalmed.

What a pleasure it was to be on the island mere steps from the ocean. The unit was clean, well appointed and perfectly situated on the island. Hosts did a good job of providing instructions and were easy to communicate when questions came up.

We had been in Pio Pu from 5/12 to 5/17 and came north for the last half.
The Condo has a beautiful view of the Pacific and is perfectly situated for close access to Hanalei where we spent most of our time swimming, snorkeling and walking along its many beautiful beaches.
This was a great place to stay!

We loved our stay at this charming, comfortable, condominium. The views from every window are awesome. We had everything we needed and more. We did not miss having a pool because we spent most of our time at beautiful Kauai beaches - including Sea Lodge beach. Highly recommend!

Nice location right on the water. Clean
We received no instructions on how to find our unit. Had difficulty trying to contact owner and get questions answered. Pool was out of order and we were told there was a beach and we followed a trail to the water which was rocks 12 feet above the ocean perhaps there was a beach somewhere else. Concierge was very helpful.
We enjoyed the town square place in Princeville for meals and music .

From the scenic views to the comfortable amenities, this location offered a serene and relaxing stay. Geri was incredibly kind and responded immediately to my inquiry regarding access to the condo and a parking permit just an hour before check in. Although the unit needed a bit more attention to cleanliness and the towels were rather worn, I understood the short turnover time between guests and the need to simply refresh with what was available. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and recommend this condo to those who want a cozy space as home base while exploring the beauty of Kauai.

I enjoyed my stay in this condo. Two suggestions:
The owners need to let renters know the refrigerator is being replaced and there is a very small mini fridge in the unit now. The mini fridge is small with hardly any freezer space. This information needs to be communicated to renters so they are aware of the limited space for refrigerated and especially frozen foods. I had to eat all my frozen food in one day because there wasn't enough space to freeze it. The second issue was the wifi. The email sent with instructions for the unit didn't include the correct network name and password. Getting this figured out was a bit of a chore.
I did enjoy the location and view from the unit. Aside from these issues ( which are easy to solve) I would recommend this condo.

We had a very good experience, but ended up needing to stay in a different unit on the same property than the one we booked due to a refrigerator issue at this unit. The unit we were moved to was bigger and had a similar view as this unit. And the best part was that we found out in advance so we didn’t have to repack and move units after the fact. Overall good advance communication from the property manager/owner and overall very good experience. The cleaning crew had to scramble to clean the room after the switch and, in their hurry, they forgot to vacuum. But not the end of the world. Overall, they did us right and we had a great experience. The view is indeed the main attraction. Over the cliffs, you can see whales in the winter months - spouting and breaching. Great windows in every room. Could wake up and see the sunrise and the beautiful blue of the ocean. Can hear the sound of waves down below. Very soothing.

What a view! The best part of the stay was being able to lie on the day bed and stare out onto the ocean. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed that this stay was so quiet and barely saw anybody around to make it a more private and quiet experience.

Condo had everything that you need along with a gorgeous view. Pictures were accurate. Clean and comfy. There was an issue with the refrigerator that we were not informed of ahead of time so there was potential for a fridge full of spoiled food. It worked out but a heads up would have been appreciated.

This property is so hot and the airflow is nonexistent due to the way the apartment sits in relation to the other structures. It is so very hard to sleep. Even with fans and windows open its 15 or more degrees hotter than outside. Pretty views don’t matter if you are exhausted. It would cost them barely anything to place a portable AC to keep guests cool on really hot days.

The views are heavenly from this condo and the ocean breeze made lack of AC comfortable. Even looking through the little bathroom window was amazing! Kitchen was well stocked and bed was comfortable. 3 stars because the unit could use a little love ie: broken/missing towel rod in bathroom, damaged blinds in bedroom, etc. This condo could also use a deep clean in my opinion.

We stayed here for the last 3 nights of our honeymoon. The location was great - We enjoyed having our coffee each morning from the lanai with a beautiful view of the ocean. It did get a bit hot/humid in the unit, but that is to be expected with no AC. There were a lot of fans in the unit which were much-appreciated and did help, but something to consider if visiting in the peak of summer!

This is a lovely place to stay! I highly recommend opening all the windows - waking up to the sound of the ocean (with a rooster crow!) is a truly magical experience. It’s so peaceful to just hear the waves crashing. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and all the furniture is comfortable. My only note is that the two lamps in the living room seem to be burned out, creating a bit of a dark space in the evenings. A very easy fix there! 10/10

We had a great time here. Loved the little daybed in the window - great place for an afternoon nap. Great views from the living room and bedroom. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked making it easy to eat in when we wanted to. Would definitely stay again!

It wouldn’t take much to equip and upgrade this condo. Kitchen needed some essentials, beach chairs were broken, screen door didn’t shut, windows and screens needed a thorough cleaning.
The view was outstanding and didn’t disappoint, the location was perfect also. A gas bbq would be a great idea instead of charcoal.
All in all we had a wonderful 5 nights enjoying the beautiful Princeville area.

This condo is a great location for a home base as you explore the North Shore of Kauai. The description of the unit is very accurate. We had pretty much everything we needed within the condo including a small cooler, towels, beach chairs and a beach umbrella in order to hit the beach. The unit is equipped with a washer and dryer which was very nice to have on our sixth day in Kauai.
We enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean and nice colors at sunset from the walkout deck.
We had a wonderful stay at this condo and highly recommend it to anyone going to the North Shore.

Loved this condo. Exactly as described in posting, nice decor, clean and the perfect size. Incredible views!! Comfortable bed, stocked kitchen and comfy furniture for watching the rain :) The manager was very responsive when we had parking questions. We would definitely stay here again and we were sad to say goodbye!
