It was dirty. From the floor, couch, counter, bed spread in Master, and the dishes. Not sure if the wash bedding Had bare necessities, random stuff to use to cook with. Unusable lanai it was too hot from the a/c condensing unit. The place was hot averaged 82 degrees upstairs. Very disappointing, to say the least! Communication was odd, not personable. When I asked if other poor guest reviews things had been fixed I was told yes, nope it had not!

We were disappointed upon arriving and seeing a broken down moped parked in front. The entry way was dirty, with a junky bicycle and trash in front of the door adjacent to entry into the apartment. The outside light also did not work. There was no parking pass or keys as stated in the welcome e-mail. We texted the property manager and received a response that the last guests had taken them. They never communicated again about getting us some. The pictures of the apartment look much better than it actually is. The finishes are subpar. You could not use the lanai because when the AC runs, very hot air vents onto it making it unbearable to sit there. Also there is a stash of junky amenity things for guests to use at the beach, etc. Also an old ladder and rusty paint buckets. Also the loft is so hot even when the AC is running, to make it almost unbearable for the guests to sleep there. The master bedroom window was so filthy, you could barely see out of it. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach at the Ritz Carlton.

This condo was perfect for our family of six, with kids ranging from 6 - 18 years old. Great location, well-appointed and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (plates, glassware, cups, pots, pans, coffee maker, rice maker, salt, pepper, some spices, etc.) Lots of fun beach gear, tennis rackets, coolers, etc. Plenty of sheets, bath towels, beach towels... Washer and dryer were great to have. Peaceful, lovely community with a pool steps from the condo. We would highly recommend this property, we will stay here again.

Place was perfect! Was there with my husband and my three adult children, place was perfect!! Few minor details, broken towel bar, towels could be replaced they’re getting a little stinky, mine gets like that at home so I understand. A vacuum cleaner would be nice to clean throughout the week as as much as we tried to keep sand out of the condo. It wasn’t super easy, but other than that, the place is perfect. The location is perfect within walking distance to the beach, the food were great, the place was stocked with what we needed to cook, the beach stuff was especially helpful. They had chairs and umbrella. I would love to have a beach wagon. You can’t have everything! Lei Leis Restaurant on the golf course was amazing and within walking distance, we will definitely try to save this condo again, air conditioning work great it was very loud, but my husband and I love white noise so we thought it was perfect, and the kids stayed comfortable up in the loft Check In check was a breeze never had to talk to anybody the attendant Pickleball us coupon for free desserts at the restaurant

We were never notified unavailable for occupancy as water heater broken, waited till 8:30pm still not working. Good thing we live here. Went home that night, came back next morning and worker still fixing unit. Imagine…

Property was pretty nice, looks exactly like the picture. Could have been cleaner, but was willing to overlook that and some other minor things that I would have expected to be better considering the price. However, the hot water went out on the 5th morning, and despite sending out a maintenance man who said he “did the best that I can”, the hot water never returned. Thurs night was our last shower, and we checked out Monday morning. Very concerning because maint indicated that there was a lot of moisture surrounding the electric water heater. Other outlets in the unit didn’t work, lights flickered on/off constantly, and we could hear circuits in the breaker panel in the kitchen pop out, despite resetting them. Dishes couldn’t be properly washed, washed laundry in cold, and showers were frigid. I’m sure this is an isolated incident, and I’m hoping to work with the property mgt for compensation. Will update the review once this is settled.

We had a great vacation on the North Shore and the condo was fantastic. The location is ideal and we visited Turtle Bay and had drinks and snacks at their pool bar area. The A.C. at the condo kept us comfortable at all times. Accessing the condo was easy and we had all the information we needed well before our visit. The smart TVs were easy for our family to binge watch a show during the evenings (admittedly, the North Shore tends to be quiet at night). Parking was very convenient.

We stayed a week in April. The condo was spotless when we arrived. It had everything we could need. The bedroom AC worked like a charm. While we had some issues with the living room AC, Isthvan was amazing as was his team. They went above and beyond. Walking distance from Turtle Bay was great for early am walks and 539am coffee!. 5-10 minutes drive from great surf beaches. And we did a full on acai bowl taste test. (We settled on Haleiwa Bowls for Topings and Banzai bowls for the acai blend. Get both. Crispy Grinds also great. We ate at Kahuku Darks ( a MUST FOR THEIR FRESH FOOD), EATL THE LETTUCE AND LOLIKOI DRESSING. TO DIE FOR!Seven Brothers for killer burgers. It was a great trip. I would a stay there again. Two 16-yo surfers were in HEAVEN, as were the grown ups!

Condo was exactly how it was described. We did have a few bug issues but knew from previous visits to Hawaii that bugs love it there too. The grounds were beautiful, heated pool was very nice. Porch light didn’t work and parking pass is in condo, not at security office so Check-In instructions needed updated. Parking was located conveniently in front of condo. There were plenty of towels and beach chairs/supplies. Very quiet area with eating and stores located a few miles away. The golf course was very beautiful and we were just a short walk to Turtle Bay public beach access.

Enjoyed our stay at Ku’ulei - had some issues upon arrival. Remote for the TV didn’t work - it was picked up that night but never returned during our stay. Also the outside sensor light did not work which we reported upon our arrival - never was repaired during our stay. Luckily the neighbors sensor light came on every time we approached the door.

This condo fulfilled our needs for this trip dropping off a granddaughter to college. I have pretty high standard of cleanliness and this place was pretty good. It could have used a little more attention but I’ve had worse. It was nice the condo was supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, etc. The porch light was out so it was challenging coming in at night. Parking space was close and easy check out.

We live on the island of Oahu in the city. Our friends were camping on private property in Turtle Bay. We don't have camping gear so we just needed a place to sleep and shower. We saw this unit online and it was cheaper than the hotel, bigger than a bedroom at the hotel, and looked updated as opposed to other units available that cost more.
The directions were on point. Check-in with security was exactly as listed in the directions. Found the unit with ease. Found the parking stall with ease as stated in the directions. Unlocked the unit per the directions and we were pleasantly surprised that it looked exactly as shown in the pictures.
It was a nice touch to have a binder, kind of like they do at hotels, with all the information you need and more.
We didn't spend too much time in the room but it felt good to come back from a day at the beach to a clean unit, with clean sheets, comfortable furnishings, and air conditioning!
Didn't have any problems with our stay, and check-out was easy. Dumped our trash, turned off everything, and locked the door behind us.

For our family location and cleanliness of accommodations are priority. Both were excellent. Condition of some of the equipment like boogie boards and snorkeling gear were rough but we weren’t expecting to use them anyways. The ice chest and chairs were great! There was also an umbrella and inflatables that we didn’t use. Overall, everything you would need to have a very comfortable stay and the toys you would want to relax and have fun at the beach!

Our unit was spacious for 4 adults.The kitchen well supplied with necessities. It’s nice to have 2 bath/shower rooms. A/C worked well. Pool is just a few steps from the suite. Spacious lanai overlooking the golf course but we weren’t able to use it since all the water toys/gears were there. Too cramped already. Quick response from the owner when we couldn’t open the door although he deferred me to the caretaker. Housekeeping can do a much better job preparing this unit. The unit was in order but not clean enough. Hair on the sheets on the one bed in the loft while the other bed had bugs on it. We were killing bugs every night in the loft area. Main floor was free of bugs. Fingerprints on the sliding door and on the refrigerator door not wiped off. Shelves in and hallway console table were dusty. TVs in the main bedroom and loft were working but not the living room tV. Overall a nice place but in need of deep cleaning and well washed sheets.

A/C in bedroom was noisy and didn't cool the room. The place could use a good deep cleaning, lint in the dryer and on the ceiling of the laundry nook. There was garbage left in the unit when we arrived. The bathrooms are dated and small. Good for a place to sleep but would look for another option if we visit again. The neighbors were rude and slammed the doors when coming and going.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. There were 4 of us. It is on a golf course and minutes from the beach walking. The unit has everything you need for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, etc..). You will have to drive to find places to eat unless you want to eat at the resort restaurants. Overall, we had good experience and great time.

This property is advertised as having air conditioning and accommodations to sleep 6 people. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found this not to be true.
Temperatures of 78 and 80 degrees were recorded in the loft area (second bedroom) during the evening hours. In addition, four people are expected to share the loft which is not feasible. The space and futon provided for two people is entirely too small.
In addition, there were a few cleanliness issues. The floors were sticky and the consoles/end tables had a layer of dust on them. The kitchen sink backed up because the garbage disposal didn’t work. And the bathroom sink upstairs (loft area) dripped water into a bucket under the sink and had to be emptied multiple times a day.
Originally we had planned to stay at this property five night but only stayed two. The property managers and owner were unsympathetic to our concerns/issues. I would NOT recommend this property to my family, friends, or fellow VRBO members.

We were there for a wedding near Turtle Bay and the location was perfect. Checking in was a little more difficult as well as getting the parking pass as the Security office was closed when we arrived, but other than that it all worked great. Place was lovely, quiet neighbors, clean and relaxing. Would stay again!

Manda the property manager was terrific. The rental was clean and had all the toys for swimming at the beach, cooler, floaties etc. However, we were told that a gate would be provided at this rental for safety reasons as they do not allow toddlers/small children in the upstairs loft. The stairway is steep and is a fall hazard. We told them we had a 1 year old staying with us and they assured us there would be a gate at the rental property, there was not. We called Manda and she tried to get ahold of the owner and did not hear back until the day before we were leaving and looked into ordering one for us but we would be gone before it arrived. We did however, leave a booster seat for toddlers for future use at this rental by other patrons. Our biggest disappointment was the very old and sunken mattress in the Master Bedroom! it was as if a 600# person laid in that bed for years on both sides of the mattress and it made you sink inward. My husband likes a soft mattress and never complains but even he had a bad back from sleeping for 4 nights in this bed. I have scoliosis and prefer a harder mattress, but this was just the WORST mattress I have ever slept on! To say we were highly disappointed is putting it mildly, especially after paying over $2500.00 for the 4 nights we stayed there.

Overall this property and location was excellent for what we were looking for. We had a very friendly and attentive property manager. The property was clean. It was well stocked with beach type items for which we made good use of. Loved the free parking. There are good fans and air conditioning to keep you cool as when we were there the weather was beautiful and hot.
Few items to consider:
Some of the items in the condo are out dated and could use a refresh. The toaster only had one working side and for some reason there weren’t any tea towels (this may have been just missed). The extra roll out bed is really only a small futon and really only for small kid use. The large couch in the living room doesn’t roll out into a bed. The pool areas really do not have adequate amount of lounge chairs. There is a bbq area in the pool area but they are briquette style bbqs pits that you will need to purchase briquettes for and understand how to use these. The condo does have a deck space but this is screened in and gets very warm and humid. We still used this off and on. Perhaps a fan would help out there? The check in and out times were challenging given where the condo is situated as traffic and getting to the north shore can be unpredictable.
Overall this was a great place to stay and enjoy the north shore. There are incredible hiking trails and a great beach nearby. The people we met were friendly and respectful. I would recommend walking along the golf course to Lei Leis one evening for dinner. Great restaurant and atmosphere! Very fun.

Great for group of 5, loved the 3 minutes walk to the ocean, well equipped kitchen and condo generally - including some great beach items (Boogie board, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and even some snorkeling gear), Quiet and peaceful condominium environment. Oh, also loved the closedown porch with a beautiful view of the greenery. Outstanding place - go outdoors love to go again to the same place.
