Amy was wonderful to deal with.
Unfortunately air conditioner was not working in the entire building due to storms earlier in the month. Definitely need air conditioning no matter how breezy it is. Amy was in touch with us about this situation before we arrived. Nothing she had any control over. But anyone renting at Royal Kahana should confirm if air conditioners are working in all units especially as weather gets more tropical.

Wow. This was such a wonderful stay in Maui! The condo was really clean, the bed was super comfortable WITH an ocean view, and it had everything we needed! Fully stocked kitchen, snacks, washer/dryer with laundry soap, beautiful updated shower, eye capturing decorations... the area was beautiful and I enjoyed running out to DT Fleming in the morning and all of the awesome snorkeling (Hanalua Bay is a must!), beaches, and restaurants nearby. It was perfect. And Amy and Marcus were WONDERFUL! This was our second Christmas in Maui and they gave us a beautiful hand painted ornament to remember our stay. Very communicative, responsive, sweet, and responsible owners. This is definitely a MUST STAY! Mele Kalikimaka!

Host was great! Communicated with us prior to our stay. Unit was comfortable and clean. Plenty of space for 2. Small welcome basket was a nice touch. Great location on the bottom floor. Easy access to pool and beach. Will definitely will book again!

The studio has everything you need foe your stay. It was easy to communicate with the owner and very responsible. Especially when things needed. Things were ordered and delivered. The bed is very comfortable and AC works well and everything was nicely clean. I definitely recommend this rental to my friends and family. Perfect for a party of 2 to sleep comfortably. They do provide a sofa bed as option for a third person

This place has everything you need for a beach vacation, including a cooler, ice blocks, beach chairs, a boogie board, and even a deck of cards! Perfect for a couple. Thank you!

Amy's condo is luxurious and being on the ground floor not only offers beautiful ocean views, but easy access to go out and walk the grounds.
The only drawback, and this has less to do with the unit and more about the weather, is that it was *very* windy for a majority of my stay. The louvered bathroom windows would wail and howl no matter how tightly I tried to close them so it made for a few nights of disruptive sleep.
The bed, linens, and extra pillows more than made up for this. I especially appreciated having copper cookware in the kitchen and the pause & serve coffee maker is a nice touch for those mornings when the first cup can't come fast enough : )
Amy checked in on me a couple of times and was super communicative - I would definitely recommend her home for anyone looking for a cozy stay on this side of the island.

What a great place to stay for families like ours. outstanding communication from owner with good & thoughtful touches. We felt very welcomed and cared for. When we go back we will check this property first.

My husband and 10 month old daughter stayed at Honu Kai. It was undoubtedly a 10/10 stay. Everything was just perfect from the warm welcome note and goodies, to the well appointed kitchen, to the superb communication from Amy, and the incredible views, the list goes on and on. We've stayed in this area before and this was very well located next to much of our favorite locations such as Maui Brewing Company, Hawaiian Village coffee, and Pohaku park. We saw whales every day from the comfort of the king bed, woke up to a stunning sunrise, singing birds, and fell asleep to the waves crashing. Amy went above and beyond not only on communication, but making us feel welcome - everything was so well thought through. Having a little one, we loved that there was laundry in the unit, a fridge, and even a pull out couch (with sheets!). The condo has been newly renovated and refurbished and we appreciated the modernity, Hawaiian flair, and newness of it all! Thank you so much, Amy, and we cannot wait to return! Mahalo!
