Maui Sands is a gem offering old-world Hawaiian charm. It's a calm, serene place with beautiful, lush grounds located directly on the ocean. The unit, itself, is beautifully remodeled using the best materials.

Maui Sands is a peaceful, low density ocean-front condominium complex offering vintage old Hawaiian charm. Located on the most desirable west side of the island in Honokowai at the northern end of Kaanapali. We are low density and geared towards relaxation. The sundeck offers a perfect perch to watch the breathtaking sunsets while simultaneously looking at the beautiful islands of Molokai and Lanai. Turtles are often
spotted, and during whaling season, there are so many of these majestic animals that one visitor referred to it as "whale soup!" Monk seals, spotted eagle rays and spinner dolphins are also spotted from the property.

Unit 719 is a private, second-floor unit that has been totally remodeled, offering hardwood floors, solid cherry cabinets, granite and glass mosaic tiles in the kitchen and granite and travertine in the bathroom. The unit offers beautiful furnishings, two flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi (Motorola SURFboard SBG6580 300-400Mbps downstream and 120Mbps upstream). and original artwork. The living room sofa opens up to a queen-size comfortable bed offering convenience to families. A PakNPlay and a high chair are available for a small fee. The kitchen is completely stocked and the unit has both ceiling fans and air conditioning.

Three parallel reefs in front of the complex offer beautiful snorkeling and many conveniences are located within walking distance of the condo. For example, nearby, there is a large grocery store, health food store, fish market, farmer's market (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays), the ABC store, a gas station, a coffee shop, ice cream shop, pizzeria, Subway, Mexican food, Duke's restaurant, etc. Old Lahaina town is only five miles away and the Kaanapali beach resort is only two miles away, offering shopping, golf, spas, restaurants, and all types of water activities.

Smoking in or outside of the unit and pets are not allowed. A parking spot is assigned to the unit.

Our check in time is 5pm and check out is 11am.
Please enjoy full use of #719 and the grounds of Maui Sands II while you are here. The exception is the owners lock out. Please do not open any locked closets or cupboards.
There is the sundeck as well as lounge chairs across the oceanfront lawn of the property for sunbathing. There is also a BBQ located at the bottom of the ocean side stairs for guest and residents use.
Please note this property does not have any shared pool access, but the proximity to the ocean makes it absolutely ideal!

Please take advantage of the wonderful Farmers Market across the street. They offer locally grown produce, and hold an outdoor market 3 days a week. There are many lovely restaurants and eateries nearby, and more located across the island. We have some of the recent guidebooks in the condo for you to use while you are here, and we are more than happy to make recommendations as well.

Maui does have a public bus system, and works great for getting around West Maui. The bus stop is located just south on the road in front of the ABC store. If you want to wander further afield you will want to consider renting a car. I am happy to make recommendations for you.

*This unit does have AC that is more than adequate to cool the space, and is located in the living room. There are both ceiling fans and floor fans in the living room and bedroom. Please note that as Maui has some of the most expensive electric in the US, we keep it on a timer to mitigate costs.
*We have a 5pm check in and 11am check out unless prior arrangements have been made.
*We take your safety and well-being seriously. We have a comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing program for this property. Our cleaning service and on-site staff are spending as much time as necessary to make sure that all areas of your rental are thoroughly cleaned before you check in.
We ask you to plan ahead as we may not be able to allow early check ins and late check outs as often as we would like.
