The View from the condo is great. We got some wonderful pictures of the ocean. The condo is a third floor walk up without air conditioning. Older renters should be aware of the walk up and the need to rent a car. We had a nice stay it was very convenient to have two bedroom and two bathrooms. Counter tops have been replaced but the rest of the condo screams 1970.

Great location, right on ocean, close to shops. Easy to park vehicle. Apartment had everything we needed included very comfortable beds. Highly recommend for your stay in Kauai.

This place had all we needed for our family of four ranging from 10-40years. The condo itself had two comfy beds, pull out sofa and two clean bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. The downstairs closet had beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler, and beach towels. The unit doesn’t have AC, but we honestly didn’t even notice not having it. The trade winds cool off the condo. The property around the complex is beautiful and they do a great job keeping it clean. Pool is great, and if you head north of the property (about 6 minutes) there is a great swim beach for little kiddos as well as big kids. The beach right in-front of the property isn’t good for swimming. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and Safeway is right across the street. Definitely would recommend for a family vacation!!

Good place to stay with teenagers, the property is somewhat old and tired, but we enjoyed it and is was comfortable.
Nice to see the ocean and be on the walk/run/bike trail.

Property was very well kept and clean. We were on the 3rd floor and assumed there would be an elevator but there was not so carrying in luggage and groceries is a little inconvenient. I think that would be helpful to know when booking. Otherwise no issues beautiful property convenient location.

We have nothing but good things to say about our time at Kapaa Shore. We have stayed at this property many times, and this unit was one of the best. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there were beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. for all ages. The location can’t be beat - convenient shopping and excellent restaurants within walking distance. The check-in and check-out process was easy and all communication with Garden Island was very helpful.

As advertised, ocean views, nice pool and hot tub. No AC, but good ceiling and floor fans and excellent cross breezes. Great location. Beach chairs appreciated! We loved it.

Nice area to stay in. Clean except for one little roach they we could not catch. Beach is not swimmable but beaches close by. Bed in loft is absolutely amazing.

As in previous reviews, well maintained and great location. Close to several restaurants and stores. We used this as home base to visit the north and south sides of the island. It can get warm with no A/C, but there is a nice breeze and fans that help. Didn't have to contact property management for anything. Would recommend or stay at again. Thanks!

Originally, I was going to stay up North, but there were structural issues so I found this resort. The resort itself is centrally located which was nice. You can see the ocean outside your patio. The ocean is not for swimming though. The waters are very rough and rocks. The first thing I noticed is that there are no elevators! We had 8 luggages we had to haul up 3 choppy flights of stairs. Do not stay here if you are handicapped or have physical limits. There is no central AC which was my fault when I booked it. However, there is a breeze in the evenings. The problem with no AC is that all fans and windows had to be opened all night to feel more comfortable. Due to that, it is the noisiest condo I’ve ever stayed in because it is close to the street. I would get woke up by the wind, the storm and the early birds. Also, there sirens everyday and sometimes evenings. The beds were not comfortable; you sink right in. The staff at this rental did replace the guest bed and added a mattress to the sofa couch bed. I stayed here for 15 days and the spa was not working the whole time. One of the reasons I chose this place was the spa. It very disappointing to watch it from my patio daily wishing I could get in but and cannot. There is only one pool in this huge place so the water is always murky. Whenever I stayed at a condo, there will always be leftover general items like oil, sugar, spatulas but it was all cleaned out. The pots and pans were all scratched up. Maybe guests like to use forks to cook on nonstick pans? There was no dish cloth to wash dishes or wipe down, just a sponge. There was however dish soap, paper towels and hand soap. They also provide some umbrellas, beach chairs and beach towels. The staff would respond to my emails quick. However, I would stay somewhere else in the future. Kapa’a is a nice location to stay if you are traveling all around the island. It’s not the nicest location ,but it’s ok. If you’re an avid

Good location with great ocean front views. The pool, hot tub, and grills were nice to use. Check in and check out were easy. The unit had adequate utensils, towels, and bedding. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again.

The location provides convenient access to both north and south beaches. The pool was our children's favorite feature and we spent hours there, daily. Friendly staff, clean accommodation, easy access to shopping, restaurants, etc. Ocean front reef offers exploration of tide pools at low tide.
