*The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that influence the beach’s physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Our homeowners Assoc., The County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii are working diligently to return Kahana Bay to its full potential.
This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there may not be, at times, direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance. Our guests' safety is of the utmost concern for us. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

This was a great place to spend our vacation! We loved having a great view and a place to cook as well! It was a great location, we felt safe and the people working there were really friendly! The pool was refreshing and I loved having beach access. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Royal Kahana.
We had a couple of items that needed some attention by the owners of the condo but they were very accessible and responded right away. Overall RK is ideally located with great access to sun and sand with some spectacular sunsets and in the quieter Kahana area while still close to a ton of amenities.
We would most certainly stay there again.

This is an awesome vacation stay for a couple. We enjoyed the breathtaking views that are actually much better than the pictures in the listing. The studio was comfortable and came equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy Maui. The beach chairs were an added bonus! We would love to return!

We had a great time! The room was as advertised, and the bed was super comfy!! The view was incredible and we were able to watch the sunsets from the lanai and had breakfast out there every morning. Appreciated the towels and chairs that were available to use. Great location and close to many great beaches. Mahalo and we hope to be back!!

The space was perfectly sized for my sister and I. The view was spectacular - we were able to see whales every morning from the balcony. The beach out front is great for a stroll - there’s also fantastic snorkeling nearby. We will be back next year!

The room was exactly as described. The view was way better in person. We watched the whales from the patio in the morning and enjoyed the sunsets in the evenings. The air conditioning did not seem to be working at all and I was concerned at first because it got very warm in the room during the daytime... but we realized pretty quickly that if we opened up the patio and front doors for a bit and let the air flow through, the temp in the room would drop quickly and we slept just fine with the patio door open, listening to the waves. It was actually perfect. Would love to stay again some day!! Mahalo!!

An amazing view, great location and good amenities. Had to buy our own jugs of water and coffee. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the beach supplies offered for us to use, and the detailed check in and travel requirements currently for Hawaii. It was a dream staying here.

Very good location near our favorite beach at Napili! Also spent two relaxing days poolside when the winds were high -- ample lounges and halapas available. The unit is small but manageable for just two people. Great sunset views from the lanai -- and the good-sized television worked well!
