We have just returned from a glorious stay at this property! It was our first visit with local family in more than a year and provided us with a home base. This apartment is well located in a walkable area, is very comfortable, and well equipped with everything you'd need for beach trips or picnics.

We rented this unit because we had to work in Honolulu for a month on a job assignment. The property owner, Michelle, was very nice, responsive and helpful. Location is the best thing about this property! The property is clean, well-stocked, and in a quiet/safe area of small mid-century condo buildings at the base of Diamond Head. The views from the dining table toward Waikiki's skyline are great, and you can see the fireworks on Friday nights. The swimming pool at this condo complex is actually beautiful (looks brand new), and the area around it was quiet and great for reading in the late afternoons The location was excellent with several great little eating places nearby. Favorites were Diamond Head Grill, Pioneer Saloon (all kinds of great Asian dishes), Morey's, Bogarts for breakfast, and South Shore grill for great fish tacos and macnut pesto chicken. The restaurants are all about 10 to 15 minute walk. You can walk to the heart of Waikiki in 30 minutes (close enough but not too close). It is just a 15 minute walk to the public beach at Kapi'olani park which was great. Lots of parks and green space in this area which we really appreciated in a city like Honolulu. Our favorite thing was walking at 4:30pm each day (after work) from the condo, through the community garden, across the huge community sports fields, and into Kapi'olani park to then walk along the beach to Waikiki for sunset cocktails. The reason we loved that aspect so much was that to get to the beach you just walk through park space - no busy streets and buildings. We did not have a car, so we used Uber some, and we often walked at night- we always felt safe in this area. The only slight inconvenience is not having strong A/C. Most of the mid-century condo buildings and houses around here don't have it. The owners provide a portable unit that you can put at the bedroom door at night and that sufficed for keeping the bedroom comfortable. During the day we had no need for a/c. We really grew to love the neighborhood and the condo.

This apartment, at the foot of Diamond Head, is in a perfect location to enjoy all that Waikiki offers and then some. If you enjoy the excitement, restaurants and activities of Waikiki you are just a short walk away. If you wish to enjoy a quiet meal out there are many choices along Monserrat Avenue which is a 5 minute walk. If You are planning a day at the beach it is only a 10 minute walk to a beautiful, safe beach. Plus everything you need to take with you is provided. We often carried the chairs down to the ocean to enjoy the evening sunset and to grab a quick snack at the Barefoot Beach Cafe. Grocery stores and other conveniences are just a short drive away. Located in a quiet neighbourhood this property provides a comfortable home away from home to return to. We often enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a day of activities and had a great evening with family and friends barbecuing and swimming. The apartment has everything you need to prepare meals if you wish to eat in. Michelle was wonderful making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lars kept the property around this complex clean and well cared for. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The apartment is in a quiet residential neighbourhood at the foot of Diamond Head. Yet it's just a 10 minute walk across a lovely park to the beach, and a 20 minute walk to all the activities of Waikiki. Along Montsarrat Avenue, there are lots of cafes and shops, and it's a 20 minute walk to the weekly KCC farmers market, which has amazing fresh fruits and vegetables. Michelle was very attentive to my needs and addressed any concerns promptly. I had a great vacation!

Clean, comfortable, quiet, well-stocked, tastefully decorated, excellent location. Just the spot for a month-long respite. We had originally reserved another condo but it was sold prior to our visit, and we are so happy that this property was offered as an alternate! The owner could not have been more accommodating and welcoming, also very quick to respond to any communication. A+ in every way - we are most grateful!

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay on our vacation. It is roomy, clean, more supplies than expected. Michelle is lovely to deal with. It really was a home away from home and the scent of plumeria as you come and go - well we don't have that at home!!! We love being in a residential area rather than the craziness of Waikiki. The fireworkds the evening of the Hawaiian festival were spectacular and can be seen from dining area window. Getting around Oahu is so easy from here and stores and restaurants are close by. So happy we were able to stay here for the month of March. It made the not so perfect weather bearable.
