Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found this unit for our daughter and her children at a late date. Unfortunately, due to the late date, there were no units available with AC. Still the unit was greatly enjoyed and the view was great.

Dishwasher neveremptied,kitchen and bathroom floors not mopped.Spots and stains all over carpet.Screen and sliding door off track.Table on balcony dirty. No instruction sheet to work the remote for tv.The insides of the kitchen cabinets smell.Furniture hasn't been dusted. This unit is not being maintained at all by the new ownership of Chasen Rainbows. I never got a callback from the owner Haley which I had left several calls in to her to her through staff answering the phones.We will never book through this company again!The former owners would have never let this happen!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views were awesome! The kitchen and bath were remodeled nicely. The carpets were absolutely TRASHED! The sofa had stains, and after reading recent reviews, we could not attempt to sit on it. Upon our arrival, there was a note on the door stating that there was work going on at the property and if we were not out by 8AM, we could possibly be stuck for the day. We were not informed before our arrival about this. Since we arrived after 4PM on Friday, our calls to Chase N Rainbows were useless. I was told managers were not on site until Monday. I called first thing Monday morning to speak to a manager to voice my concerns. She got back to me around 4PM. She was nice and apologetic. She claimed that they were unaware of the work going on at the property and the state of the carpets and sofa. She sent someone first thing Tuesday morning to shampoo the carpets. When we returned around 5, it was very disheartening to see that someone came in and just sprayed a few of the stains in the living room, and NONE of the bedroom! I have been renting from this company many years, twice this year! I have NEVER been disappointed and recommend them to many. The pictures of the condo are obviously old, and need to be updated. If they had, I would have never chosen this condo while visiting my piece of paradise. In addition, having no one to assist renters on the weekend is unacceptable, and should be taken into consideration when booking in the future. I am so sad to have to complain about a company I once loved:(

Reviewer Comments: We always love Kahana Reef and the location of the rental was nice, however the carpet was extremely dirty and unraveling and my wife was concerned about possibly fleas on the couch as she was bit a few times while sitting on it. The wifi was very unreliable and when it worked was very slow. Also, I was quite disappointed when I called Chase'N Rainbows twice about the issues with the wifi and was told that someone would return my call both times and heard nothing from them. I would recommend to a friend if the carpet was replaced, the furniture was fumigated and the wifi was replaced.

There were restaurants and shops within walking distance and was a very safe area. Kahana #211 was very nice. The carpet was in rough shape but overall the condo was very clean upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

The views are wonderful in all the condos but I like the kitchen in this one the best. The only issue we had was the blender does not work and it definitely needs some butcher knives for cutting into pineapple and larger things.the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes so i had to rewash and put those away. I shouldnt have to do this if i am paying a cleaning fee. all in all I would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time that we’ve rented through Chase’n Rainbows, and the second time we’ve stayed in a unit at Kahana Reef. We’ve loved our stays here both times. Unit 211 has been our favorite so far. Everything was immaculate and it was tastefully decorated and very clean. We had absolutely no complaints about anything. The property is also very well managed and maintained. If I had anything more to request, it would be to add a few extras, like snorkeling equipment and boogie boards.They did provide 2 beach chairs in good condition, which we’re very much appreciated. Also, a portable air conditioner would be nice to have, as the sun can get pretty intense in the afternoons....and you don’t want to close the drapes on your wonderful view of the ocean below. We hope to be able to return here many times on our future visits to Maui. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.

We loved the place!!! Loved it! But would have been nicer if anyone even returned our call, email, or text to confirm they got our message that the completely full dishwasher was not working and that’s means a dishwasher full of dirty dishes from previous occupant and hand washing ours which was fine, but communication in anyway would have been nice. We had a wonderful time and this place was awesome outside of that!

The location of the condos is great, with a private beach to the right and grassy area in front of the condos. 5 min drive to the coastal walk and to other local beach’s and golf course. Condo was clean and everything worked except the wifi was a bit slow. Think the router needs to be replaced. The company was helpful in dealing with it however. Amazing views from the balcony. Can’t beat the location and view. Great time of year to go as there were many many whales swimming by and popping heads out daily. We had a great time. Nice being on the 2nd floor. One of the nicer units we have stayed in.
