Nohonani 105 is a two bedroom, two bath unit just steps away from the beach. The master bedroom has a king-size bed; and twin beds in the guest bedroom. Free parking and WiFi are provided as well.

If you’re curious about what goes on under the waves, snorkeling tours are a great way to view the incredible variety of life that lives under the surface of the ocean. If you don’t want to get wet, there’s even a submarine that can take you into the deeps while you view its mysteries from the comfort of a warm cabin. Helicopter tours are an excellent way to take in views of the whole island, including incredible waterfalls, sea cliffs, and forests you would be hard pressed to view on foot. For those looking for a little more excitement, check out the zip lines at the Haleakala Skyline Tour. All this can be done just minutes, even steps away from your Maui vacation rental!

We are centrally located in West Maui, 5 minutes north of Ka'anapali and 5 minutes south of Kapalua. We are close to shopping, award-winning golf courses, and restaurants, only a few minutes away from the Whalers Village on world famous Ka’anapali Beach, home to the Whale Museum, along with numerous shops, restaurants and art galleries.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the location and the property was nice and clean. The only issue was that the patio doors (living room and bedroom) were not able to be locked. We tried numerous times to secure the door but you could force them open with moderate pressure. The area felt really safe and secure but always a concern that the patio couldnt be locked properly.

We spent a week at the Nohonani and loved the property. The building is showing its age but the property management does their best to keep the inside on the up and up. The location is mere footsteps from the ocean and there can be great snorkeling found just outside the natural rock barrier. The bed could use updated in the master but we slept fine due to the soothing ocean waves outside our window. Any issues we had during the week were resolved within minutes by the management team. I will be staying here again. Mahalo.

We absolutely loved our stay. The condo has the most amazing view. We loved the pool and grill in the common areas and of course the ocean. The only thing you need to make this the most perfect stay ever is AC. We were here on a hot week and with no AC, the condo would get too hot to not be enjoyable…. But everything else make the no AC worth it!

This place was great for what we are were looking for, and the property looks just like the pictures. You have your own private beach, the kitchen had everything you might need it was very realizing we got to see a turtle and even saw two whales from the house which was great. If you are doing the road to Hana it is a little far and will take the whole day

The location and amenities were wonderful. Having a first floor unit with the ocean right out your door and the pool close, and a private beach was exactly what our family wanted. The unit was stocked and even had beach towels, boogie boards and umbrella. The condo had community pool toys and beach toys which was a huge help for us with little ones. The only downside to this unit as others have complained about was the king bed, super uncomfortable. The unit was a bit dated, the couch a bit worn but for us these weren’t deal breakers.

Amazing place with all amenities, condiments, surf boards, etc provided and the breaking waves are included for free. Nice neighborhood with eateries, shops close by. When in doubt, go to the Carts for dinner- wide variety of menu from Vietnamese, BBQ, Chinese, Seafood etc. Great beaches within walking and 5 min drive. Only issue is that this is a residential area and all the major treks, hikes, parks are an hour away. But everyone stays here. Will return.. Thanks

They go out of their way to make sure everything is attended to promptly. Especially Terry. She is a gem.The unit was really nice. Plenty of kitchen amenities. Boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. all furnished, so no need to rent. Going to bed with the sound of the waves crashing is phenomenal. The unit has no a/c which wasn't a problem as far as the temperature. But 2 things to note: 1) Being on the ground floor with the doors and windows open, the floor gets dirty very quickly. 2) Because the doors and windows are open, you hear every person who passes by.The reason for a score of 4 for general condition is because the kitchen is a bit dated. It has older cabinets. Also, the beds are a bit uncomfortable which could probably be remedied with some foam toppers. Other than those few things, the place was very clean and comfortable for 4 adults. I would definitely stay there again.

Molokai and Lanai are right across and waiting for us to admire as we had breakfast on the balcony. The condo was very comfortable with all essentials. The building has a pool and new grills which gave us a break from all the restaurant eating. The little beach was perfect for my youngest to play in the mornings. Temperature was pleasant as long as you took advantage of all the windows, very nice Oceanfront breeze made sure of that. Would definitely recommend.

We had a question upon arrival and the property manager answered our call on the first try. He took care of us immediately. The turtles came up on the beach every night and the snorkeling in front of the condo was great. We were a short Uber ride to many restaurants and tourists attractions. The permanent owners were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again the next time we return to Maui.

We loved the perfect views, sunsets and sea turtles. The condo is well stocked for what we needed to cook in the kitchen. The outdoor grills were always clean and the grounds were maintained everyday. There were plenty of linens and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were fresh and bright with oversized showers. It was nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. It was very quiet in our unit. We felt very safe. We had left some items on the mainland that we needed fed-exed to us. Maui Lodging allowed us to have it sent to their office. They were very accommodating and contacted us immediately for pick-up when it arrived. They also made the reservation, check-in and check-out hassle free. They were eager to answer questions and were very knowledgeable about the island and activities. Everything was as advertised.Be sure to go to the Farmers Market for produce and enjoy an acia bowl or one of their smoothies, it is all so refreshing and just a block down the street.When we return, we I'll be staying in Nohonani #105!

This was our first time visiting Maui, and we wanted to experience oceanfront views at this condo. We planned to have two meals a day on the lanai while enjoying the oceanfront view.After a long flight, we opened the door to the condo and were welcomed to a gentle breeze from the ceiling fans. We immediately noticed the box of Hawaiian chocolates left on the dining table - what a thoughtful gift. My wife opened the sliding door and went out to the lanai. I immediately joined her and to our disappointment, the first thing we saw about 10 feet away was an orange webbed construction fence surrounding two large sinkholes. There was a "Keep Out" sign attached to the fence, which was also directly in front of our view. I couldn't believe my eyes - the sinkholes and orange fencing were never explained to us in our interactions with the property manager. If they had, we would not have booked here for our honeymoon. We thought the online photos of the view from the lanai were misleading, and wished any issues with the property were mentioned before booking. When we ate our breakfast or dinner at the lanai table, the orange fencing blocked our entire view from the left, right, and up to the top of the other island. All we could clearly see was the blue sky above the fencing...and the "Keep Out" sign in front of us.The other issue we experienced was the poor internet connection. We were able to connect to the router, but the internet was intermittent and would cut out frequently. Resetting the cable modem and router did not always do the trick, so we were left with NO internet sometimes. This was not something we expected from a West Maui condo.The condo was clean and had some supplies to start off your stay (toiletries, towels, soap, etc). If you need to purchase supplies, there's a farmer's market and ABC Store within walking distance.We would not stay here again or recommend it to

It was amazing to sit on the lanai and watch the whales every morning. There were always turtles in the coral in front of the nice little beach which was the perfect size for my children to play. The pool was an added bonus and was only full of kids once in the ten days we were there, but that was great for my kids. The condo was spacious and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with many spices and other odds and ends that made it easier to enjoy a meal at home. The location was perfect only a short drive to Lahaina and the airport was just a little further. This is definetly a condo I would return to!

Reviewer Comments: We had heard that this unit was coming on the market and it was open for 2 days at the end of our trip so we decided to stay and see what it was all about. We love that the master bedroom and the living room are both on the oceanfront. This walk out unit is 15' from the ocean, with beautiful views of the sunsets, turtles frequenting the beach and ocean and whales in season 100 yards out from the lanai. Its in a small boutique 28 unit complex with a nice ocean front pool and a private beach with only access from complex. Property is peaceful and well maintained. 2 New Bathrooms and this summer will be getting fresh painting, AC & a kitchen refresh. Great lanai you never have to leave to know why people come to West Maui.

This place is right on the water which is what we wanted. Overall the place needs updating and a deep cleaning. Linens on beds old, thin with holes. Drapes dirty. Edges of walls and floors dirty. All walls dirty as they are in need of fresh paint. Clearly been a long time. Ants in the kitchen, we had to keep open dry goods in the microwave. Exterior lighting at night very bright and invasive in the bedrooms as the doors and windows need to be open due to no air conditioning. AC can be added with a mini split. Can get very hot late afternoon as sun sets into the unit. The management company did bring us a good working fan. I gave it 4 stars mainly because of location. Price is good too.

We enjoyed our stay at Nohonani! Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Clean and well-kept property and unit, plus kitchen was stocked nicely. Great communication with property owner/manager, plus super friendly staff on-site. Great cross-flow/breeze when you open front and back door, plus ceiling fans made it very comfortable inside. I would say to be careful when swimming at the beachfront on property, especially when the tide is lower. there is lots of sharp coral, and my daughter sliced open her knee on our 2nd day there! Nonetheless, we highly recommend Nonohani!

We are not new to Nohonani. We have been coming for many years (37) and love it. This trip, we rented four units for ten days, two from VRBO, 101 and 103, and two directly. Let me start by saying how much we love Nohonani and feel welcome. Colin was excellent and the grounds are now gorgeous, thanks to a wonderful lady. There is an orchid garden even and beautiful flower pots around the grounds. It is just sad that we paid so much more from VRBO for these two units than the other two. Sadly, our unit (103) is not in good shape. The bathroom needs help, you can't open the door almost without hitting the toilet. The furniture and bed is old compared to the other units. The kitchen is poorly stocked, one scratched frying pan. The whole condo was really hot and difficult to sleep at night. We had to get into the pool late to get cooled off enough to sleep. Our other units were wonderful. They had big comfy couches and beautifully stocked kitchens. Also, they should alert you that construction is going on near you. Anyway, lesson learned. We will be back to our beloved Nohonani, just more selective in the units we rent.

Reviewer Comments: This is our second time renting a unit at Nohonani through Maui Lodging Properties and we continue to be delighted by the facility and rental agency. We really enjoyed our first floor unit. It was very comfortable and ideally situated for access to our favorite beaches. Such a luxury to watch sunsets while eating dinner on the lanai! My four star rating of general condition only reflects that some features such as kitchen cabinets are a bit tired - but not anymore than you would expect for a much loved vacation rental.

This property is right on the ocean. So if the sound of ocean waves is pleasing, you will love it, as we did. It was convenient to many locations. It was clean and provided for a nice stay at our first time in Maui.
